Ghost! had transfer! opinions!

Post by tiffywall86 »

hey ladies. So we had our transfer yesterday. We ended up transfering 3 which our doctor didn't like because im only 23 but we had 1 6cell and 2 4 cell embryos, grade B. Arn't the cell counts really low for day 3??? They also did assisted hatching... what do you ladies think?

Congratulations! Although these sound like slightly lower cell counts I don't think that you should worry. If you read the june/july thread there is a lady who is pregnant with similar circumstances. From reading these boards it seems very rare that anyone transfers a perfect embryo and there are lots of pregnancies. Good luck to you

The 6-cell is slightly low, the two 4-cells are definitely low.

The 6-cell has a decent chance. The others are long shots. That's why the doctor was willing to transfer all 3 at your age.

I was away for the last 5 days. Sorry for the slow response.
Avoid IVF and surrogacy in Ukraine. Ukrainian centers pay shills to post here under numerous sock accounts pretending to be patients in Ukraine. Centers using such deceptive advertising cannot be trusted and should be avoided.

Hi tiffy,

I was reading your post and I have am in a similar situation (actually, I think I'm the "woman from the june/july board" mentioned in the post above.

I had 1 embryo from this cycle and it was 4 cells on day 3. I didn't even want to go through with the transfer (it was graded 4 on a scale of 1(best) to 5 (worst)). Both the RE who did my transfer as well as my primary RE stressed to me that their embryologist reviews all embies very early in the morning and it is common to have 4-cell embies on day 3. You may want to ask your clinic if this is the case for them too. I was very skeptical when they told me this - I had figured it was a bum embryo. But, I found out thursday that I'm pregnant. 2nd beta tomorrow.

Best wishes! Sticky thoughts!!!!!!!!
