Question Regarding Trigger Shot & HPTs

Hello! I am on day 11 of a day 3 transfer. I broke down and I did a HPT this morning and it clearly said "Pregnant". This is so, so exciting - but I’m trying not to get overly excited (it's impossible) because I'm always so worried about a false positive HPT! My question is - can my trigger shot from 8:00 PM on July 12th still have any affect on the HPT at this point? The only thing I am taking now is the 1.5 of the Progesterone shot daily and 2 Vivelle Patches every other day. I went in for my Progesterone and E2 level check on Friday and they said all looked good so far, but they wanted to bring my Progesterone level up some. My first beta is on Wednesday 7/29.

hey girl. I would deff say CONGRATS! Its VERY unlikely that your hcg from the shot is still in your system. They say give 1 day for every 1000units. Im guessing you probably did 10,000 units which would be 10 days . Good luck! keep us posted.

That's not the trigger, it would have faded to nil by about 5 days ago, and estradiol and progesterone cannot affect an HPT (very different compounds, steroids vs protein).

Thanks for your reply! I am super excited! Actually, my trigger shot was only 3500! So that's even better!
