Update from Sally P

Post by SallyP »

Hi to all the girls who know me - this is just a very quick update from me as I'm at my mum's house this afternoon and she has a computer and the internet, neither of which I possess at home! Helo to tracey S and Shell - love you you both and hope you are well.
This is to let you know that I was admitted to hospital for 3 weeks in January as my placenta was still lying too low and it was deemed too risky not to be admittedand to go full term. So I had baby Jay by CS at 38 weeks on 27th January. I lost 5 pints of blood during the section as the placenta haemorrhaged on removal, but had a blood transfusion and am fine. Jay weight 6.10 and is now 8 weeks old and a bouncing 11lbs now! I know i've not been on the site for ages, so hope you are all well.
You can't message back but lots of love to you.

Shell - you will have had your baby now, and Tracey, can't be long for you I know.
Will access the site when I can but it may be not for a while.

Lots of love xxx

HI Sally,

It's been a while and I do remember you and very often I have been wondering if you had a boy or girl. It's such a pleasure that you managed to post from your Mom's PC. When you see this can you mail me on shell@sixtowers.freeserve.co.uk your telephone number and I will give you a call.

I am so happy and congrats!! and welcoming Jay to the world, also to let you know I had a little boy on the 4th of Feb 2 weeks late or should I say big boy Alex Mitchell he weighed in at 11lb 5oz. I also had a rough time and had to have 3 blood transfusions and also had CS but he's here now and worth every penny.

I really do hope to hear from you soon so that we can catch up, I miss your posts.

Love & Hugs
Shell & Alex (7wks 5d old)

WElcome to Jay - what a saga - hope I don't have the same!!! How is the back - you did not mention it so I presume it held out ok.
I am 20 wks now and waiting for the dreaded scan - seems like ages to go still though - will it fly.
