Hi Smita

I know you wrote thsi ages ago - but if you're there - how are you?
Any more thoughts on trying again for you? We are all fine here. 'Baby Tess' as she is now known is already 7 months old and Oliver seems to really love her - which is good! I hope you're doing well. Take Care. Love Vickyx

Hi everyone

Its been so long since I last posted I thought I ought to post an update!

Nathan has just celebrated his 1st Birthday, I cant believe how quick this year has gone! Jenna is now 3 1/2 and such a bright (And very cheeky) little girl, very independant and dare I say stubborn at times! She goes to playgroup every morning now and will start school next September, how scary! Its great to see Jenna and Nathan interacting. There is the sibling rivallry there, but they do generally get on very well. Nathan giggles away at Jenna and she loves encouraging this.

Im passing on all my baby stuff now, as Nathan grows out of it. we feel very complete now with the two we have, which is such a good feeling I never thought I would have!

I hope everyone is doing ok, I dont know how many of you still read this thread anymore. I know I visit this site a lot less now, but it is nice to keep in touch occasionally!

Hi Guys

Just bringing us back up to the top. Since I last wrote we have been having a bad time - sorry to be a misery guts! I was diagnosed with breast cancer in early August. I had a noninvasive type DCIS but they also found two very small tumours when they removed my breast (2mm & 5mm) I am now having chemo - I've had 3 and have 3 to go, then a year of Herceptin. I opted to have both breasts removed as I have a family history of BC. The doctors have been very positive but it's still been a difficult time and of course I do wish I had had longer with my baby girl before having to worry so much about maybe not being here for them both. On the whole I am being very positive and am now looking forward to Christmas and the usual stuff this time of year.
I have been doing well with the chemo - very few nasty side effects - although of course have lost my hair but nothing more unpleasant than that so I am very lucky.
I hope you are all doing well - sorry to be the bearer of bad tidings. I have looked at cancer forums but I have to say I find them so depressing I thought I'd come clean about whats been happening on here with my old friends - we have been through a lot together already - this is just one more thing!

Take Care all. Love Vickyxx

Hi everyone,
Been a very long time since i posted here so not sure if you remember me or not. I've been coming on and reading but was unable to log in and post. Had major problems with my account, kept saying i didn't exist when trying to log in, took months of emailing admin before i finally got a reply and my account sorted.
Kady will be 4 in May and is more of a wee tomboy than a girly girl, i was exactly the same as a child.
She goes to playgroup 5 mornings a week and loves it, she calls it her school for small boys and girls. She absolutely loves doing arts and crafts and can sit for ages just painting and drawing. Her favourite has been drawing people, a big circle with arms and legs and a big smiley face. The other day she was sitting at the table painting and i was amazed at the finished picture, she done clouds and a sun in the sky, grass, trees and a wee bridge going over a wee stream and it actually looked exactly as i've described instead of her usual swill of colours all over the place, it's a proper painting and is proudly stuck on the fridge door.

We had the shock of our lives recently, a positive HPT  Done another 2 each day after that, all came up positive as soon as i done them. There has been quite a few natural pregnancies here and i never ever thought it would happen to us, we were resigned to just having Kady but this just goes to show that miracles can happen. My due date is 22nd June and i'll be 16 weeks tomorrow.
We still can't believe that this is really happening. It was just days before i actually done the 1st test and Kady said to me "Mammy, i want a baby brother" i asked why a brother and not a sister and the reply was "i have plenty baby girl dolls and no baby boys" She just cracks me up with the things she says. She's now adament that she wants a baby sister so she can be just like her big cousin and she wants us to name the baby Daddy Pig
I'm so exhausted this time but at least i don't have the constant morning sickness like i did with Kady, every day until 28wks. Only been sick a few times which i'm pleased about.
Get my big scan on 4th Feb, can't wait to find out the sex.
Hope everyone had a great Christmas.
Take care all.
Lotsa love

Michelle

Hey Michelle

I remember you. Congratulations - How wonderful - I too had a natural (well 3 actually but lost two at 6wks and 12wks, then had a baby girl a year ago through a natural pregnancy - it's so great to think your body is doing what it's meant to do isnt it! I hope it goes well for you. Love Vicky

Hi everyone,
Thanks for your message Vicky, i agree that it is great that our bodies are finally doing what they're meant to. Next month DH and i will have been together for 15 years, so it's taken that long for this to happen naturally. We are still shocked it's actually happened.
I'm almost 25 weeks now and found out at the 20wk scan we are having another wee girl. Kady is over the moon, she keeps rubbing my tummy and gives it kisses saying she loves the baby in my tummy, the other night she was next to me on the couch and lay her head on my tummy and started singing the baby songs, it was so sweet. She's also told me that after this baby comes out she wants me to have another 5 babies  DH has also been talking about trying for a 3rd as soon as possible, i was like, can you just let me have this one first, lol. I can see his way of thinking though, i'll be 35 the month before i have this one so time is getting on and there is no guarantee it'll happen again naturally so best to start trying as soon as.
Hope everyone is fine, not even sure who all still visits this thread.
Anyways, take care and lotsa love
