Amanda - welcome dear!!! (((hugs))) So glad to have you join us! I have not had any raging symptoms, but I know that that is TOTALLY ok. I'm just trying to survive to Wednesday at this point and going CRAZY! The only breast soreness I had was from the trigger (I think. Maybe it was an initial reaction to the progesterone), but that went away shortly after the ET.

lw - congrats on your ET and joining the 2wwaiters. Sending TONS of sticky dust to you! My ovaries had gotten so huge on the stims that my doctor could see them through the ultrasound while doing the ET. He said that does not happen often (or some comment like that). Sounds like you're experiencing something similar. It really does take a while for your body to recover from all that!

Faith - YAY for 2 days earlier!!! And way to be an advocate for yourself!

AFM - I'm doing SO much better than I was this morning. I am PUPO after all, and no one and nothing can tell me differently before Wednesday! I will make it (and will keep practicing that BFP phone call YAY!!!). :D :D :D

Hi Ladies,

Congratulations Starwishes!!!! I LOVE to read about BFP!!!! That is so great.

Dogzrule - I'm glad you're a little better now. Sending lots of PMA your way!!!

Katie99- Were you a poor responder during your previous cycle? I was. This is the reason why he's going to put me on the mircro flair.

Penny2 - I felt the same exact way the first few times I first injected myself. Then I had my little routine that I followed. I became a pro. DH used to watch in amazement. lol

BabiesGalore - my baseline is tomorrow. I'll find out after 3 if I'm a go.

lw918 - They're all going to stick!! Nine days will go by sooner than you know it.

cressicaw - Towards the end of my last cycle, I was going in every other day it seemed. It kept me busy though. It gave me something to look forward to.

Amandas05 - Welcome!!! Lots of PMA during your two week wait. I know what you mean about the acronyms. Like what is PUPO?

Faith9455 - Good for you about being moved up in your cycle. You're right, that just means you'll get your BFP two days sooner!!! Lots of baby dust going your way.

AFM, just waiting for tomorrow to come so I can get this show in the road.

CT_Michele,

I read the board the entire time during my 1st IVF attempt but I only posted a few times.

I only had 1 egg frozen so I am in the process of another fresh cycle. I wanted to start earlier but I had a c-section and my doctor wanted me to wait until my DS was a year old.
CT_Michele wrote:Good evening all, just a quick post before I go to bed. (yeah right, I always mean for them to be quick, but that never happens!)

sunny- I did start my lupron, tonight was day 5, and tonight will be my last bcp...supression check on thursday. Good luck with trigger and we will be praying for lots of eggies on tuesday for you.

beth- glad to hear the move went well, just a few more days until beta, how exciting!

starwishes, I know it's hard, but try to keep the faith, I do hope the spotting stops for you.

gi- thanks for all that sticky irish dust, we all know how lucky irish dust is...so it is much appreciated!

butterfly- your almost there, I hope you get the ok to trigger tomorrow and have ER soon, it does seem like you have been stimming forever.

lw- good luck at transfer, lots of sticky dust coming your way! I hope you get some frosties...and hopefully you and DD stayed cool in the pool today.

dogz- that sounds like an awesome bfp phone call...almost brought me to tears just reading it. I will never experience a surprise at my phone call b/c I can not stay away from the pee sticks, so I already always know the answer, good or bad.

tryn4#2- is this your first time on this board? I also did my first cycle in dec 2007 which resulted in my DD. I was wondering if you were an old cycle buddy of mine or a newbie to these boards. Either way, a big welcome and hopefully we will both get a sibling for our little miracles.

katie- thanks for remembering me...I feel all special, I got my own post...lol. Thanks for the dance, the lupron is fine. I don;t get many side effects from it, I guess a few headaches, but I get those even when I am not on lupron, so I can handle it.

cressica- that is interesting about being a split donor, I am not sure I have heard of that. I guess a good way to save money and to help someone out. I hope you get enough eggs to go through with your plan.

not much new with me, still on the lupron, last bcp tonight, supression u/s and bw on thursday morning. I am keeping my fingers crossed, but at the same time, not getting my hopes up. I just have this horrible feeling that b/c I pushed RE for august instead of september that it will come back to bite me in the butt. Maybe I have just had so many delays I just can't ever imagine making it to FET day. Maybe it's because I took a quiz on facebook that said I will get pregnant in December 2009! Stupid quiz, it better not be right and I better get pregnant sooner than that...lol Oh well, enough ppity party for me...it's off to bed and to the start of a crazy busy week, but then after this week I should get a nice big break in my schedule and go back to just doing the stay at home mommy thing...I can't wait!

Hello everyone,

I just discovered this place and would like to join the July/August group.

I'm on my first IVF cycle and in the middle of my 2ww. I'm 42 so I want to be realistic about my chances, but I figure I gotta try! I have low ovarian reserve and DH has low motility, so it is possible we will turn to adoption if this cycle doesn't work out (or do 1 more cycle while researching adoption).

They retrieved 7 eggs, 4 were mature, 3 fertilized, and only 1 was graded "6A"; the others had problems. It was quite exasperating to end up with 1 embryo ranked "good," knowing that others can get that without even trying, but at least there is that 1!

Someone said the 2ww is the hardest part and I agree.

thanks for listening.

gi - Thanks for the encouragement. I too feel like everyone has seen all of my goods.

starwishes - congratulations! i am super excited for you! I think your note convinced me not to POAS.

path finder-How are you feeling. Have you had your ET yet? Seems like it should be any day.

Faith9455 - Kudos to you for communicating to your DH your needs. I hope the kids are well behaved and that your keeping a PMA.

lw918 - Congrats on your 3 embies. Wishing you all of the best! Thanks for defining PUPO. I couldn't figure that one out!

dogzrule, cheekyone, beth - hang in there! you all are so close and I can't wait to hear your outcomes.

amandas05 and liana - welcome! hoping things "stick"

Cressicaw - i've had 9 ultrasounds this cycle, five since i started my stims. You get very used to it. In fact, the nurses just tell me to hike up my skirt now to avoid getting undressed. Good luck!

Penny2 - Glad you are excited about your shots. I had the same feeling. I thinking after waiting to start them being proactive feels good! I've been stimming 11 days, so right now I have bruises on my tummy and look like a total junkie! Hopefully you can avoid that!

AFM, I had my 4th scan and blood work yesterday and they asked that I got back in today. A lot had changed since yesterday and I'm finally scheduled for ER on Thursday. Today was my 9th u/s this cycle and my 5th since starting my stims. My DH told me that the "wand" was getting more action than he was and he's starting to get jealous! LOL. I'll trigger tonight at 8:30. Tomorrow I'm celebrating no shots.

does anyone else have their ER on Thursday? I'd love to find a cycle buddy.

This whole process has been a lesson in patience. God is definitely teaching me he's in control NOT me and that I'm on his timing, not mine. Painful lessons but ones I needed to learn.

Hey Ladies. My nurse just called me and told me that my two other embies did not make it for freezing. Does that mean i have no chance with these? I am so bummed and my DH is telling to be prepared for it not happening. Has anyone had a BFP without any snowbabies? Been positive all along but now starting to wonder! Sorry for my venting.

BabiesGalore - don't be discouraged! they put the best two embies back in you. Freezing embryos is a bonus and while its a bummer that they didn't make it, it only takes one and the best two are in you where they are supposed to be! Keep your PMA.

Babies - I second what butterfly said. The fact that your other two didn't make it has NO determination on the 2 they put in you! :D Stick embies stick!

butterfly - YAY for ER Thursday! I know what you mean about your DH. Mine, poor guy, is dying but understands the purpose. :D

gi - YAY for the arrival of meds but I'm hoping for a miracle for you girlie!!

AFM - today is the last day of my 2ww. I can't believe tomorrow is it YIKES!!! I'm going to keep myself busy today. I'm going to go see a movie, go by school and piddle around (if the office staff is there anyway, which they may not be), see if my friend's home so I can stop by and visit, then I'm getting together with 2 of my girlfriends from church tonight for tea. OH and it's pizza night tonight with hubby YAY!!!!!

beth - my identical cycle twin - I'm hoping and praying for your BFP outcome tomorrow!

Hi Ladies,

Dogz & Beth- You just have to get through today yet! Hang in there, tomorrow is going to be a GREAT day!! I am praying that you get a BFP!

Liana & Amanda- Welcome

Butterfly- ER Thursday- YAY!!

I know I am missing a lot of people but I still find myself getting overwhelmed with this board! There are so many great things happening and I am thinking and praying for you all!

AFM- I am 3 days into my Lupron shots, for the most part I am feelilng pretty good. I do get VERY tired!! Like right now I could lay my head down and not wake up for the rest of the afternoon! Has anyone else gotten really tired from the Lupron?? I also feel slight headaches but nothing like I thought they were going to be so I can't complain!

Have a great day ladies and keep up the PMA no matter what stage of IVF we are in!!
