pregnancy test question

Post by tiffywall86 »

hey girlies! . I have a question on pregnancy tests.
So I took the 10,000 units of hcg 11 days ago. then they had me take 1500 units on sat. (so that should only take 2 days to get out of my system right?) I took a pt yesterday and it was +. I took one today thinking if it was the hcg it would be lighter. However its the EXACT same color lol. It popped up right away and is obviously positive. Im really confused. I was testing yesterday to make sure it was out of my system and its not getting any lighter...?

Why did they tell you to take more hCG? That's the first time I've heard of that. I would definately hope that it is out of your system and you are getting your BFP. Good Luck!

It's closer to an exponential decay, definitely not linear.

It decreases by a factor of 2 every 1.5 days, approximately.

10,000 hCG will induce a serum level of about 300 IU/l, depending on your weight and other factors. 10 days later, it has been cut by half about 7 times, and is therefore around 2 IU/L. It varies, of course, but that's generally too low for the HPT to detect.

1,500 IU hCG will reach that level in about 5-6 days.

Luteal hCG always complicates pregnancy testing.
Avoid IVF and surrogacy in Ukraine. Ukrainian centers pay shills to post here under numerous sock accounts pretending to be patients in Ukraine. Centers using such deceptive advertising cannot be trusted and should be avoided.
