Babygurls..

Congrats! Your beta more than tripled!!

Kim: Thanks for the encouragement. Yes, I could take the Femara for one
more cycle and just use ovulation strips. We go on vacation early August, so I will not take it that month. I will give my body a chance to go drug free for one month before deciding what to do.

Rhonda: How are you doing? I'm thinking of you and all that you have been through for this little bundle of joy.

Tracy: How have you been doing?

Hello to Yasmina, CarolineP, Catharine, Renee and anyone else that I may have missed.

HI ladies! Hope you don't mind me popping on..LOL! I am of the 40 crowd, 42 next week to be exact..UGGGG!
I , and DH, have been through 3 ivf cycles.. all three were a BFN. Well this last cycle didn't get a BFN because there were none to transfer on day 5.

I have been looking at varies website, forums to help me gather some info on women my age having success.. and I have seen alot of them... anyhow, I was wondering if any of you have used, or know of, a protocol that is micro lupron protocol using also DHEA?

I have read about women using the DHEA and banking cycles using this...

I am not wanting to give up yet on me and DH having a child together. Brief on us, we have been married for 11 yrs. he has no children of his own. Although, he has help me to raise my 3 girls from previous marriage. There ages are 23, 19 and 14 yrs. My oldest has a daughter, my grandbaby :D , of 4 yrs.
I am very much blessed for them all! We just would like to have one together.. I had a tubal after my yougest.. I was under the impression that I could have no more C-sections after #3. I found out later that this was totally not true! So here were are trying for the past year on IVF cycles.

I would love to joing with you in this progress, if you all don't mind!

Thanks for listening!

hey tammy,
thanks for thinking of me. It has been so hard. All worth it, but very difficult. My hemoglobin dropped again, so here comes the light-headedness and the rapid heartbeat once again. I can't wait to have her. My body feels like I cannot take anymore. I am so lucky to be pregnant and I thank God everyday, but my poor body is worn out. I'm going to the doc weekly now. I go back wednesday. I will let yaw know how that goes. How are you doing? Hope you are doing well.

Rhonda: I'm so sorry to hear that you are having such a rough time. I will keep you in my prayers. It won't be long now.

Matt6:34: Welcome to our site. You will find a lot of encouragement here.

AFM: I have not been feeling well for 5 days now. I am lightheaded, have headaches and sometimes feel queasy. I am also very tired. I'm not sure what is going on with me, as I do not want to get my hopes up.
I will take a HPT sometime later this week.

thanks for the welcome!

babygurl! That is so exciting! I hope to be in your shoes soon.. is there anything new that you done to get to this point?

babyblue ~ thanks! that helps to know I am not the only newbie!

children~ I hope you are right! I want to be soon!

mrscutter~ I see you are currently having trouble carrying? That must be tough, but you know it is well worth it, hang in there!

teachertam~ are you in the 2ww?

I hope any of you can give me some advice on using DHEA? And the lupron microdose protocol?? My last three were the antagonist, I think..wiith the ecstrace, gonal f, ganarilix, and the last we used the Bravelle, Menopur... which was the worst cycle!
After this last cycle, I feel I am totally obsessive about this! uGGGh! I don't want to give up hope yet, I know this can happen, some of you ladies are proof of that.

thanks :)

MATT6:34,

I was on microdose protocol which involves one month (14~21 days) of suppression with daily birth control pills and then lupron flare (low dose) for few days which followed by stimulation with gonal-f and Repronex for 7~10 days. I responded to this protocol too well and produced too many eggs, over 80% of them were fertilized and kept frozen. My two ivf children are all from frozen cycles.

I am very lucky and my egg age was 43. I have no experience in using DHEA but I read about it. I think each individual reacts to it differently but in general, one must use it more than 4 months to see its beneficial effect.

Good luck!

Hello Ladies:

I went to the Dr. yesterday regarding my lightheadedness and dizziness. I am not pregnant, but the dr. thinks I have vertigo. It looks like DH and I are done actively trying to get pregnant!

Good luck ladies,

childeren ~ Thanks for the info! I wish I could produce some eggs to freeze..maybe this protocol could do something for me. Are you going through a FET currently?

teachertam~ sorry.. I hope you find peace.

AFM: I am waiting to see if I will be able to continue for one more shot.. Time will tell. Although it had better move along quickly, because my clock is starting to clunk.

Tammy,
I'm sorry about your bfn. Maybe now that you are giving up, it will happen naturally. That's what happened to be, so I am a believer. I had vertigo about 10 years ago. it was horrible. Is your blood pressure too low. I think that is what brought mine on. I was on some medication that dropped my pressure too low and it caused vertigo.

I went to doctor today and she put me out of work and on bed rest. Not toltal bed rest, but partial, i can sit on the couch with my feet up, but no working or shopping or anything else. She says she will not let me go anylonger than 4 weeks from now. So, a light at the end of the tunnel. I may still go early due to the big amount of amniotic fluid. and yippie, the baby turned this week head down. Finally. i did use the classical music on my belly. maybe it worked. however, the doc says with the olympic size pool she is swimming in she has plenty of room to turn again. oh boy i hope not. Take care tammy and know that we all are thinking about you.

Hope everyone else is doing ok.

Tammy - sorry about your BFN. I hope this decision is good for you and DH (only you 2 can decide that). You have a little one at home that you can now give 110% to since dropping the IVF stuff (I know it takes a lot out of you). I know you wanted 2 kids but, I hope the transition to having only 1 kid is short and easy for you and DH, and you get to enjoy every minute of it.
