Had my day 4 bloood test today and was told if I am supressed they start next stage sat/sun or mon which would mean 18 days later ET on tues/wed/thur...
I have a weeks leave beginning of APril so asked if I could start on the monday so I would have a weeks leave to relax, go back to work for 2 days and then ET thursday(nice long weekend to recover)
The nurse phoned about half an hour ago to say I was supressed and they want me to carry on down regging for another week cos they cant fit me in to start until sat 04/04!! I am so pissed off now cos it has just delayed things by another bloody week.......It also means more money(not a lot but beside the point). We had enough Bruselin to last but now I have to carry on an extra week& will have to get some more.......
God.......is it just my clinic or do other people have difficulty getting booked in etc....??

I had this happen to me once and I kicked up a fuss and they managed to fit me in. As you know a lot of things can go wrong and the other ladies who are booked i.e af could be late so keep phoning and they might be able to squeeze you in..

been in tmt for 4 years.Male factor. Have had 3 icsi, one ivf with donor sperm.Went for fet with 7 eggs but none made it to blastocyst. just had 5 DI. test date 27 july
Sorry to hear about youe clinic Sarah I can understand you being p****ed off luckly my clinis are very good and I havent had to book in just let them know which af I'm going to start treatment on on my follow up appointments and they do the rest.sorry if that sounds like a brag.
Cant believe how much crap you've had to deal with esp with them moving buildings as well.
Hope the wine helps I'm sat here drinking water and I'm the driver tomorrow and sunday night havent had any nights out for 2 weekends and this weekend we have when I've bloody stopped drinking,Iam so exciting!!!

this isn't sounding good. I think they are having real issues there. I get on well with one of the receptionists there. So the last time I phoned I managed to have a good long chat with her about the state of the new clinic and the Consultant's scandal. I almost wish I had an excuse to phone her on Monday to get the low-down.
Before starting the IVF again we consider using Dorchester instead as my experience with Southampton the last time wasn't great. But we decided to stick with Southampton with where our jobs are. I hope we don't come to regret that decision!
Anyway, wine sounds like a fine plan. I am also avoiding alcohol, but I bet when my going gets tough I will resort to it

bloody clinic!!!!! a friend of mine is going to Southampton for FET and she said I will be gobsmaked at the new clinic she drove past 3 times as she thought it was someones house until she saw the happy couple woth a child sign and thought this must be it.
She also thought where is the carpark and ended up parking on the road,she said the rooms were small and it was not a patch on chalybeate.
She is having injections at the moment and is having real difficulty doing them as she keeps drawing up nothing into the drawing needle,she said the nurse was in a rush and didn't explain properly!!!!

I went to Dorchester twice Mr Dooley is a lovely man and the clinic is really clean and comfortable all be it a little bit on the small side.
Lets see if I get in when I ring next time they may have sorted out all their problems by then Fingers crossed!!!!

You must be soooooo pi$$ed off! I am so sorry they are still causing you so much crap. How can you be relaxed when you do get round to the crucial part of tmt.
I have a flat in Chichester which is not far from Southampton, just say the word and I will post something brown and steamy through their letter box.

I have calmed down a little bit now(thanks to some lovely wine)...........no point in letting it get to me, there is nothing I can do about it and by getting angry I am the only one who suffers
