Vicky- I am so, so sorry. My heart just breaks for you. Take some time away with DH and just love each other. I know how heartbreaking this is for you. Hang in there sweetie...
Sorry I have been away girls! Lots going on here...just a few personals this morning, I have to leave for a meeting in a few.
Angie, TruB, and KJGrant - that is awesome! I am so happy for you guys!!! Now the true fun begins.
Julie - Great numbers! Good luck!
katie99- GL!! Pulling for you girl!!
hazel - Wishing you the best with FET! Come home and take it easy. Tons of PMA and water!
AFM- had first OB appointment, nothing exciting. Wish you could see the baby every apppointment! Next scheduled look-around is August 21st for Nuchal Translucency. Can't wait! So tired, hungry, thirsty, moody, sleepless. Luckily, not puking!!
Why does the 2WW have to be so difficult? I'm starting to have more moments of doubt as the days go on. Plus, I've felt fine up until this morning. Today I feel like I could start at anytime w/ mild cramping. Is this normal on progesterone? I don't remember feeling this way back in Jan/Feb, but my DH says I did and that I need to relax.
Daisy - thank you. How lovely to hear from you, so pleased all is going well.
marymeganB - yes I think that feeling is entirely normal on progesterone, so try not to worry! Easier said than done, I know, and I worried about it just like you last time. I remember thinking that I would love to have a magic time machine so I could just fast forward to the end of my 2ww and find out whether it had worked! Wishfull's 'naturewatch' camera also sounds like a great idea so that we could see what was going on inside us. Now if only someone would hurry up and invent one of those two things, LOL!

Hi All
I've been reading these messages boards for months and have finally decided to join in. It's really nice to know I am not alone in this horrible horrible nightmare.
So, me....in brief - just had first round of IVF, tested today and got a negative . I have tested one day earlier than clinic said to, but I think it was a true test. Gutted. Vicky, feel for you. And anyone else, for that matter, in same boat.
Am trying to be positive and thinking of future. Really keen to get going again on another cycle. Anyone out there have experience of using frozen embryos? Just wondering what the process is...is it shorter?
Best wishes to everyone out there, whatever stage you are at.
Vicky- I am so so sorry honey. I have been waiting to check all day and am sooo sorry. Just take your time.
Kuion - I am sorry for your result. You have joined the right boards to get as much help and support as possible.
Marymegan - patience dust to you. I know it is so hard
hjw - I would prefer beta numbers too. Now I am worrying about every twinge as we have to wait 3 weeks for scan and that's it. I am not surprised you will test early.
KJGrant - congratulations. Fantastic news.
Me - 32 DH - 37
IVF 1: BFN IVF 2: BFP!
Freddie was born at 14.09 on 29/03/10 at 8lb 14oz.
Kuion- Frozen transfers are easier and quicker. They just give you meds to get your lining the right thinkness for the transfer. I only had to have one ultrasound to check the thickness.
I was so worried when my fresh cycle didnt take. I thought why in the world would a frozen work if fresh didnt! Well I had my beta today, 2 weeks from my frozen transfer and BFP!!! I am so excited!
sorry I haven't posted too much, but I have been reading everyone's updates. I have been over on the august thread since I had so many delays and knew most of you would be done cycling by the time I even got started. But I still want to check in, update the list when needed and let you know what is going on with me,
A few quick personals...
vicky- I am so sorry to hear your news. Please take all the time you need and know that we will be here when you are ready to talk.
KJ- A big congrats to you! I am so happy for you and enjoy your pregnancy! You deserve it!
Hazel- Good luck tomorrow...you know I am sending boat loads of sticky dust across the pond for you! Hopefully I will be just a few weeks behind you.
afm- I have been on lupron for a week, I took my last bcp sunday night, and I go for my first supression check tomorrow morning. I hope the e2 levels are low and I can start my estrogen on friday. If all continues as planned, FET will be on aug 20. Like I have said before, I have had so many delays, I kind of expect it again, but I am praying I can move on, I am so tired of waiting and delays. So please pray for me ladies. If my bw is good tomorrow, I really feel like I might have a chance to stay on track. If e2 is high tomorrow, I think RE will stop me right away and put me on bcp's for a good long time...I will let you know tomorrow afternoon.
Me- 28 DH- 33 Male Factor
1st IVF- 12/07- BFP! Ella Michele was born 8/26/8
2nd IVF- 04/09 - BFN
1st FET- 09/09 - Chemical
3rd IVF - 04/11 - Embies didn't make it to ET
4th IVF - Fall 2011??
Hi ladies. We had some bad news this morning - neither of our frosties survived the thaw so after 6 weeks of drugs, scans and gearing up for transfer today and being PUPO, we have been cancelled. DH and I are so disappointed. And worried about what that says about the quality of our embryos.
We have made a follow-up appointment but the earliest they have is 16th September, which seems like such a long, long way away. And they are currently running at a waiting list for treatment of 3 months so unless the doctor can bump us up the list when we see him in September, it looks likely to be December or so until we can cycle again.
All in all, not a good day.
Hazel
