success stories w/ ONE transferred? looking for happy ending

Post by dk »

Anyone out there with success on one embryo transferred? I had a b quality 8 cell that the transferred on day three. I'm so nervous!

Our last two IVF cycles we had two embryos both times, but this time, no such luck.

If you have any happy ending stories, I would LOVE to hear them!

About me:
I'm 39, two IVFs and both pregnancy tests were negative.
When I was trying to get pregnant naturally, I had two pregnancies with two miscarriages, one at 7 weeks. One at nine weeks.

Hey DK,

sorry I can't help you personally, but I did read that several ladies on the June July cycling post had had previous or current success with only one embryo - it is a big post, but if you have time, it may give you some positive support!!

Good luck to your one little one!

I think their slogan was "It just takes one." It really liked that!

I don't think there is anyone who chanted "IT ONLY TAKES ONE' more than me in June and July! I only had 1 embie make it through my fresh cycle. After having great follie counts, we got 6 at ER. 5 were mature enough to get fertilized. Two actually fertilized. Only 1 made it to a 3 day transfer.

The one that made it to transfer, was only 6 cells, with a B- grade. Not great at all. We all prayed and flooded our lives with PMA. Even my RE after transferring prayed with me in the operating room. It was all very emotional.

I have had great Betas, and an awesome scan! Everything is right on track and looking beautifully. I promise, IT ONLY TAKES ONE!!!
35yrs old, endo.
male factor: low, low count
IVF: #1 BFP!!!!
BETA: 03July: 587!!!

Hi DK!

I have a one-embryo transfer success story! I have a 5 y/o daughter that was a one-embryo transfer back in 2003. I am now 5 weeks 5 days pregnant with baby #2 via IVF #2. Best of luck to you!!!
