Hey girls.
Wolffie- your right I'm gonna push for 2 embryo. My insurance doesn't pay for anything that's why we need to maximize chances since we don't know when we can have another ivf. It was a sacrifice to save for this one.
J&C-how many did you transfer your first time? I hope you get another BFP on your second as well.

AF started yesterday, so I'll go in for my baseline tomorrow. I definitely don't look forward to the needles again - UGH!!!! I'm not sure what our timeline is yet, but I don't think we'll start meds until mid-September. Nothing like starting early.

jaydentd - We transferred 3 last time, have 1 beautiful daughter now and have 1 frostie. We're doing another fresh cycle, basically because we don't want to take a chance with just 1 frostie and it will be cheaper to do IVF again and then FET with the insurance that we have left.

Hi ladies. I was hoping I could join in. I was supposed to cycle in August but got delayed til September. We will be doing the lupron down reg protocol and be on a day 3/5 flex. Before I can start this next cycle I have to have a D &C for polyps. I am scheduled for surgery on the 6th. Right after that I start BCP again and onto Lupron. This is my first attempt with IVF. I have a 15 month old son who I conceived on met, clomid and hcg....this time around we were not as lucky....6 BFN cycles of clomid and follistim. So we are moving on. I hope to share this journey with you and also some BFP's. Good luck!

hey everyone! hope everyone is having a great friday! i waiting for the nurse to call with the results of my bw and u/s so i can start lupron tonight. for those who have done shots before, any tips or advice? i'm terrified!

Shelby - You are AWESOME! Thanks so much for putting the list together. I had thought about it but the task seemed to big. THANKS!

mjay - I was overwhelmed at first with the thought of the injections. They really aren't so bad after the first couple. I found that alternating sites really helped me. I alternate every night and do right thigh, right tummy, left tummy, left thigh, etc. I have my dh give me the PIO injections. If he does it I can lay flat on the couch and try to relax. Those injections were the ones that I thought hurt. GOOD LUCK! Oh, and make sure you do the injection on a 90 degree angle, not with the needle totally vertical and straight in.

So I start BCP tomorrow. I am super excited about the BCP, because I always feel like a million bucks when I'm on BCP. My PCOS wacks out my hormones, and I feel great, have energy, etc. when I'm on BCP. My salin sono is on 8/14, and I'll start Lupron on 9/7. Looks like I'll be behind everyone, but I'll just have to watch everyone else's BFP come first!!

Hi miyaya - welcome!! I was on the clomid roller coaster for a while myself. IVF worked the first time for me, which I still can't believe sometimes. We'll pray it does for you, and everyone else, too!!

mjay - I was also terrified of the shots and quite frankly, my husband had to give them all to me last time...and he will be giving them all to me this time too. I used an ice pack before the shots (which works miracles), and when you get to the progesterone shots, I used ice before and heat after.

shelbyrn - Thank you sooooooo much for the update!!!! It's great seeing where everyone is at.

I just wanted to pop in and say hi. I am terribly terrified that I might get delayed AGAIN, and if it happens, I will be officially joining you. But for now, I am reading all your stories while I continue on my june/july and july/august threads. It is also nice to see many familiar names here, people I have cycled with before, even an old bump buddy (Shari- so glad to see you goign for #2!)...and I am sending you all tons of baby dust and pma!

Since I am not doing anything IVFwise till October, I will be here intermittently lurking, checking in to see how you are all doing. But of course, nothing much to report yet, no injections, no action here. Also, I have no frozens *sigh*, so it'll be another fresh cycle for me. Wishing you all great, successful cycles!!

Shelby- Thanks for including me in your list!

Michele- Glad to see that your FET is coming up really soon! How exciting! Lots of luck and baby dust to you. Hope to hear of a BFP from you soon!
