Dogz- Great news! I'll be praying ur other levels to increase.

Babies - Hang in there. Hope your visit goes well on Monday.

Annisabug - Great news on your embies. We be twins again with Tuesday transfers! I'm so glad you had a good fertilization count AND can have a 5 day transfer.

Pathfinder - When is your beta? Seems like it should be sometime soon. How are you feeling?

Cheeky - any updates?

AFM I had a whopping 19 eggs fertilize. I realize this is great, but I also feel a little burdened b/c I know its more than we'll ever use and i don't know what I'll do with them. The embryologist will call me in less than 3 hours with a quality report. I feel very blessed to have such a great retrieval and transfer, but I wonder if our infertility issues all along are that I was getting pregnant and losing it quickly. My progesterone shots are going well. I do feel quite bloated and all of its seems to be in my belly. I seriously have an inntertube of chub around my waist.

We're now trying to decide the # of embryos to transfer. My doc recommends 2 and won't transfer more than 3 given my age (31). We are likely out of insurance coverage after this try with IVF, so any future fresh cycles (I don't think we'll do) OR FETs would be out of pocket. I also would LOVE to have twins. I'm praying through that now.

Does anyone know the likelihood of a embryo splitting after a day 5 transfer?

I'll do more personals later. Best of luck to all!

Butterfly - Congratulations on Ur fert report!! 19 is AWESOME! You will definitely have a better possiblity of having twins with that number. The RE will pick the best ones!! I am no help with the info on the splitting with a 5 day though, maybe someone else can answer that question.
It is good that you had so many left with ur insurance running out. I hear that a FET is cheaper than a fresh cylce. Especially if you decide down the road you want more. I am so excited for you!! :P :P

AFM I am having a rough time this go. I developed OHSS and the RE says it will get worse before it gets better. I have had to come up with some stories for work but now I'm just saying I had an unexpected complication from a routine medical procedure! OH well. I am patiently waiting for my little embies to be transfered. I hope most of them make it to Tuesday :P

Tortillachip Welcome and congratulations on being PUPO! You have definitely come to the right place for support. These ladies are absolutely wonderful and are here no matter what we are going through. I have a very supportive DH but it is not the same as these ladies. He actually asks "so what do the girls say about that", it really is too cute.

Sunnygirl Congrats on your ET!! So glad to hear everything went well. Hope you have a nice trip back to VT! It will be so good for you to get home to your doggies and DH!!

Cheekyone How are you doing? Monday is almost here! Keep us posted and hang on to the PMA. :D

Beth Hang in there! I am sure that if you had gone in later your number would of been higher. As far as having migraines - they are most likely from the hormonal change. Your body is going through so many changes. Sending U ((((Hugs ))))and prayers.

Gi How was your nephew's party? He sounds sooooooo cute!

CT_Michele I am doing the AF dance for you! How are u doing?

For all of you I missed - (((HUGS))) and Baby dust to all!! :D :D

annissabug so sorry u developed ohss i hope u get better real soon grow you embies grow grow grow :D

butterfly wow thats is definately a great fertilisation rate now grow u embies grow and about ur question on day 5 splitting. I was told by my embriologist that day 3 are more prone to splitting than day 5 blast. I'm not saying that day 5 don't split the ratio is lower in blast than day 3.

sunnygirl welcome to the 2ww heaps of pma to ya

gi keep them fingers crossed for me thanks for that :D

Good morning ladies!

I am still here, I've been reading, but not posting much, this weekend ended up being busier than I expected.

cheeky- good luck tomorrow, we have everything crossed for you!

anissa- I am so sorry you have OHSS, I have heard some horrible stories about it and I just pray your symptoms won't get too bad. Wiull you definitely still have transfer? I have heard in bad cases of ohss that getting pregnant can increase the symptoms...I hope that is not the case for you.

butterfly- congrats on 19 embies, that is an awesome number! As far as percentages of splitting, I am not sure, you may want to post for ghost.

Tortilla- welcome...you will find lots of support here, these boards have served as a personal diary for me for years, and the ladies here are like my second family. I have a very supportive family, and I am very open about my treatments and what we are going through, but there is still nothing like talking to people who are actually going through it.

sunny- congrats on being PUPO!

gi- hope you had fun in the bouncy house, those things are awesome!

lw- I also had very few symptoms with my bfp. Just some bloating and mild cramping, which was the same for my bfn. I really think the symptoms are generally the same both ways.

AFM- Thanks for all the danicing and boot stomping ladies, cuz it finally worked. This has been the weirdest af though...warning tmi coming...i told you all on friday that I wiped hard and i thought she was coming, but that continued for all of friday and saturday. Everytime I went to the bathroom and wiped, I would check and it was very light discoloration, kinda clotty and brownish...but finally this morning it turned to red and heavier. So I will count today as day one, call the clinic first thing in the morning and I am guessing they will want bw tomorrow and if my e2 is low I can start the estrogen pills and maybe still get in for august. I hope that is the plan. And I hope the stupid e2 is low! Now you all have to put your stomping boots back on and do the "low e2" dance!

A very busy week is approaching us!!!! LOADS of BFP's coming at us for the next several days.

Gi AF is near for you! YAY! (This may be one of the few places on earth women get SO excited for AF!)

CT-Michele Congrats on your AF as well. I'll be praying that those E2 levels fall. You'll catch that August cycle for sure!

Helen Congrats on an awesome fert. report and good luck tomorrow! We'll all be thinking of you!

Cheeky I'm anxious for your Beta tomorrow!! We'll all be waiting for the results!

Annisbug So sorry to hear about your OHSS. I hope that you feel better soon!!

Butterfly 19!! WOW! That's great. I understand what you meant when you said you weren't sure how to feel about it because it was more than you'd ever use, I struggled with the same thing at first, but you just never know what will happen. I agree with what the others have said as well. If your insurance doesnt cover any more it's great that you will have plenty of frosties for FET, which is way cheaper.

Tortilla Welcome, we're glad to have you! Welcome to the 2ww!!! We're all dancing for u!

Dogz and Beth I'm crossed from my head to my toes for you both tomorrow!!!!!

To anyone I've missed- Hang in there!! PMA PMA PMA!!!

AFM: I hit a really low point yesterday. I've tried so hard to keep the PMA up and I totally cracked yesterday. Is it the progesterone making me so weepy?? I cried for HOURS working myself up about this. I just think its all of the stress of waiting for wednesday building up. I had all of these symptoms and then they just vanished and I feel like my regular old self and I know that means nothing, but I'm just being overdramatic I suppose! Anyway, today was a fresh day and I made myself snap out of it! I'm PUPO!

Hello Everyone!

Hope you are all having a nice weekend. I just got back from Sunday b/w Oh, the joy of driving 4 hrs roundtrip and torrential rain the whole trip. Big fun! the RE was there by himself & had to do the blood draw, Now, its true they always have a hard time getting any blood from me, but he took it from my wrist! Strange. Also OW! So starting today I'm in for b/w & u/s every other day til trigger. Lots of driving, oh well, I like this doc enough that it doesnt matter. Now I'm really moving along. cross your fingers for me please, as last month I was cancelled for only getting 1 follie.

beth / dogz - Fingers are crossed for you both tomorrow! PMA!!

faith - doing the AF dance for you - What protocol are you on?

amanda - GL with your beta!!

cheeky - Everything crossed for you tomorrow! loads of PMA to you my friend - hugs!

lw - Some women dont have any s/s at all. Enjoy being PUPO!

helen - YAY 4 fert!! GL with your ET tomorrow! Wishing you tons of growing embie dust!!!

katie - YAY for no lupron headaches!!! That really is wonderful. :D

lw - the 2ww is horrible, and having a breakdown is SO normal. I felt all kinds of stuff happening the 1st few days after the ET, then nothing. Nothing is NORMAL!!!!! Remember, it really is too early to have any symptoms, so hang in there. Way to pick yourself back up, you PUPO lady!!!

gi - AF dance is happening for ya!

helen - GREAT report. Grow embies GROW!!!! Keep us posted, and I just know you're going to have at least one great one in there!

Hi all - have been away from the boards for most of the weekend as we had guests in from out of town. I'm glad to catch up and see lots of good news!

Michele - SO happy that AF is here! I will do a "low e2" dance for you.

Anissabug - ouch - I hope you're taking good care of yourself. OHSS sounds quite awful.

Helen - Wow - what a fert rate! good luck with your ET!

Tortillachip - love your username - welcome!

Katie - all my fingers are crossed for you - make lots of eggs!

lw918 - Yeah, the 2WW is so emotionally hard - combine the stress with the hormones, and it's a wonder that we function at all!

Butterfly - wow - 19 is FANTASTIC. What I've heard is that if the quality is good, transferring 3 would not increase your success rate so much as increase your chances of multiples. It is a scary decision - I know I'd be fine with twins, but the risks of higher order multiples made me stick to two embryos for both of my cycles (even tho I'm older than you).

Amanda and Cheeky (and anyone else I"m forgetting right now)- Lots of good wishes for your betas! I can't wait to hear some more positive results!

Dogz - my twin - of course I am thinking of you and your beta tomorrow. I can't wait to see even higher numbers for you tomorrow.

AFM, the distractions of the weekend have been very good for me, just haven't had that much time to worry and obsess about my beta tomorrow. I think my odds are not great, and I'm happy that I still have a bunch of frosties to try. Thanks so much for the PMA and encouragement. I feel like any success I have at this point is because of all these good vibes from you ladies!

Hey everyone. Kinda depressed that the weekend is over but glad that friday will soon be here when i can finally find out if i am or am not. This waiting is killing me. I'm so tempted to POAS since friday seems so far away but at the same time really scared of getting a BFN. I just dunno what to do. Help!

Cheeky and Amada, sending u lots of positivive vibes for the next two BFPs on our board. Can't wait to hear u're news.

Dogz and Beth, wishing for the very best for both of u tomorrow.

Michelle: Yah for the AF. doing lots of low e2 dance fo u. my feet are sore now from it:-) Can't wait to hear good news for u

Katie: all the driving will be so worth it. Doing the grow follies dance for u!

lw: I totally know how u are feeling. Have been kind of down lately just thinking if it does not work out, then what. I just can't bring myself to think further than friday. Good luck to u and hang in there. lots of PMA. when is u're test? are u going to POAS?

gi: def doing the AF dance for u and she will be rearing up very soon and hopefully this will be it for a long time. Enjoy the wine. Gosh i miss it but def worth giving it up!

Helen: Yah. Grow embies grow. Sending u loads of embie growth dust.

Annisabug: really sorry to hear about the OHSS. Heard that gatorade is suppose to help. Get plenty of rest. Good luck on the ET and sending u lots of growth dust to u're embies.

Sunny: congrats on being PUPO and welcome to the 2ww. When is u're beta?

Butterfly; 19 wow! That is awesome. Just keep the PMA.

Baby dust to everyone and lets keep the BFPs coming. This is a very lucky board!
