Anyone cycling July/August 09?

babies - DO NOT POAS!!!!! I'm so thankful I didn't, so there's my 2 cents. I'm sure others on here feel the opposite and have excellent reasons for it, but I too was TERRIFIED of seeing that BFN and losing all hope.

Ok so here is my deal...I had my HCG trigger on Wed 7/22, Retrieval 7/24 and Transfer 7/27 (3day transfer 1 8 cell grade 1 egg) So against dr orders, I started taking HPT's everyday beginning the day I came home from transfer, the tests came back positive and was faint by Fri 07/31 you could barely see it. Then Yesterday sat got NEG on 2 different tests and this morning I took one came back negative. I was horsing around and had a digital Clearblue easy digital that came free in one of my packs, so I decided what the heck.....I took it and it came back PREGNANT!!!!!!
I go for my beta tuesday morning, the day after tomorrow...could this be real????
What do you guys think??

Your initial positives were due to the trigger still being in your system. Sounds like your last test is showing good news!!!!

Thank you all for the well wishes! I am resting and drinking lots of water and gatorade! I don't want them to cancel my transfer because of this!

Babies Hang in there girl! You are almost there. I POAS my last cycle and was devastated but glad because I was able to prepare my self somewhat for the phone call. Friday will be here very soon. Sending you patience dust

Katie99 Yahoo for no headaches. Do U have to drive to your Re for all your monitoring? I am 5 hours round trip from my Re but was monitored at a local hospital. It made it much easier than going back and forth for the whole day. Thanks for the well wishes and advice. I am doing all of it and so far so good. I will be doing the Grow follie dance for you!

lw sending you lots of PMA dust ur way and stick embie dust. It is normal to get emotional and have bad days, especially with all these hormones we are on! ((HUGS))

BABIES Nope I am not going to POAS. I told myself in the beginning that I wouldn't. It was hard not to breakdown this weekend, but I only have 2 full days of waiting left and I can handle that!

thanks heaps and heaps for all your encouraging pma definately made a world of difference. We'll sadly i have to report the first BFN on this lovely thread. Just wasn't meant to be for me i wasn't confident in the weekend cause i started to bleed red like a fire engine but still holding on to a glimmer of hope. I'm ok now and on a good note i'm back on the horses mount in september for a FET. I'll be still watching out for all you girls and rooting for u all. And for you 2ww gurlies heaps of faith your way hang in there and i am looking forward to hearing positive results
and to all the stimmers and ones just starting heaps of pma to you gurls i'll be watching out for ya

AFM- got home to vt last night and got into it with my dh. not how i planned my homecoming. i came home to dying plants, laundry left in the machines etc, etc....i think i have a right to be bummed out today. why is it that i can handle everything plus my job when he is gone, but he neglects so much? i could scream. is this how it will be is we have a baby???

doesn't he know it's all about ME right now??? maybe it's the progesterone talking ( by the way, i'm a little on edge and have really bad skin since i began the shots, this better end soon!) well, 9 more dsys for me until BETA.....no preg. symptoms at all! Keep the faith ladies!

Sunny - Yeah, a bit down, but I think that's par for the course with this process. I'm still hoping for the best, saying prayers to St. Rita (thanks, gi!) and all the rest. Got my blood test done about an hour ago, and I'll wait for the doctor to call me this afternoon! I also know that no matter what, I'll be okay, and will move on to the next step.

I'm still not having any real symptoms, but I haven't been spotting either, so I'm taking that as a little bit of encouragement (tho I know the progesterone may be holding that off).

I'm jumping over from the July forum! Just wanted to let everyone know that I had my ER on 7/21 and transfer of 2 embies, 1 grade 2 and the other a grade 3 on 7/24. I go for my BETA tomorrow morning and it can't get here quick enough. No symptoms other than side effects from progestrone shots and I haven't had any spotting or bleeding. My first IVF was in January and ended w/ a BFP, but I had a mc at 7 weeks. Fingers crossed and all that good stuff that tomorrow is a good day for me.

marymeganB: good luck tomorrow. Wishing u a big fat BFP! Mine is on Friday and patience is wearing off. Getting AF cramp pains and a few twitches and pulls but hope it is nothing to worry about. Trying to ask my RE if i can get my beta earlier. Not sure why our clinic takes so long. I had my 5dt on 7/25 and my beta was scheduled for 8/7. Anyhoo, keeping all fingers and toes cross for u.

Beth - u are in my thoughts today that everything goes well.

Dogz - can't wati to hear u're doubled or trippled numbers!
