This is my first time on this forum. I had day 5 embryo transfer on 07/26. For the past 2 days i have been getting a creamy yellowish discharge when I wipe with a tissue (sorry TMI).....so now I am getting worried as to what this may be......I will going for a bloodwork on 8/4...next week ..tuesday.....do you guys think i should do a HPT or should I just wait.
I did not have the suppositories and still have a lot of discharge. When I looked it up it said that several different kinds of discharge are common after a transfer and that a white creamy discharge is common in early pregnancy due to increased pressure on the cervix. I think for us IVFers have increased pressure either way from the procedures, retrieval, swollen ovaries, etc.
I think the general rule is if it's not really smelly and you don't feel uncomfortable, it's probably OK. It is common to have a lot more discharge during this time. On the HPT thing... I was never able to resist doing them. Kept me from totally freaking out the day of the blood test, whether it was bad news (first 2x) or good (3x)!
