How great to see another BFP!! I haven't had time to do many personal messages, but I'm reading everything and thinking about you ladies throughout the day. I'm just waiting for Friday to see if my E2 has gone down enough to start Menopur. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE :) I went for a 90 minute massage tonight and it was wonderfull! I've decided to do weekly massage and acupuncture till this cycle is complete. I think it really helps to counteract the mental and physical stress. I willa slo being doing acupuncture pre and post ET, as it is suppose to really help. They use the "German" protocol..which was used in some study that showed a huge increase in success rates.

Anyways...conrats to those that got their BFP's and hang in there everyone else :)

ya'll I'm a bit worried that I've jumped the gun!
we told everyone----and I mean EVERYONE that our test was positive. Mostly because everyone knew it was coming up.
This evening I told a friend and was told "I'm happy for you, but won't get excited- don't want to jinx anything". I started second guessing myself after that. I thought "why did I tell everyone?! We havn't even had our second beta!" But I thought witha number that high I should be ok! If something happens we definatly want support. I guess the thought of this NOT being ok hadn't really crossed my mind until that.

Great beta numbers ladies, enjoy the ride and good luck on the next test!

dogz : hang in there! you are doing everything you can and should be doing, it's just going to take some time for your embies and body to adjust to one another. Go easy on yourself, it WILL work out!

: good to hear from you, and hope you are enjoying our SF fog. As Mark Twain once said, "the coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco"...but actually the weather has been great lately.

Hi girls. I just wanted to pop in to check the beta's. Congrats lw and liana! Whoo ohooo......so encouraging. Its nice to see so many BFPs on the board. Your beta's look great.

Also, Dogz....I know this stage is super hard....you over analyze every twinge or no twinges.....When I was pregnant with DS I was the same way!! BUT I had no symptoms....no sore bb's, no morning sickness, no ligament pain.....I felt....regular except for every now and again I would get mild cramps early on. It was not until 17 weeks when I felt the baby move (flutter) that I felt pregnant. Pregnancy is so different for everyone and some of us have no symptoms.....consider yourself lucky....at least you are not hovered over the toilet:) hee hee. But really, enjoy this....soon enough you will be big as a whale with swollen feet begging to get the baby out:) Good things are coming your way.....

AFM, off to my surgery. Its at 9:30 but I have to be there at 7:30 AM. I am starved and of course cannot eat but I am excited to get this out of the way so I can move on and start my cycle. talk to you all later:)

liana & lw918- NO WAY! CONGRATULATIONS! those are great numbers! You two made my day! :D enjoy yourselves! liana, thank you for making us 40+ ladies look good! and lw918, there is no right way to celebrate.......... tell everyone! it's your day!

katie99 & rays of sunshine- any news from ghost about levels? best of luck tomorrow, i have a good feeling about it.

dillyz- welcome! we can be fun over here!

lisa- hang in there, it ain't over till it's over. GROW follies!

doglover- WOW! 7 frozen...that's what i call luck of the irish! you are joining us for the 2ww! UGH!

anissabug- 2ww with us too! YEY!

nicole- yeah, it's official, i don't like anyone who's pregnant anymore either. they all suck.........except all you guys on this post! :D

dogz- i have been neurotic about reading my Over 30 Week by Week Pregnancy Guide and let me tell you.....they say that 95% of the time you don't feel a thing until week 7 or so. since you have shown some nervousness i have to say, i would probably feel the same..... thinking that you had to be on edge throughout the whole pregnancy, but hopefully the questioning and scariness will pass. are you celebrating with family yet? Stay positive, you are BFP!

faith- i hope your levels are in the right range for you to move forward for the menopur ( gosh i miss that stuff! :( just kidding...good luck!)

beth, cheekyone & michele- glad you are all still around. i'm going to be watching for all of you and continuing to say prayers. who knows, we may be all chatting next month together!

babies- very best of luck tomorrow...bring us back another BFP!

cressicaw- good luck on the ER today...relax!

jamie3777- are you okay?

gi- hi hon! enjoy the spa!

AFM- i am just dying here during the 2ww like everyone else. tomorrow i have to go for the Day 7 b/w. they said they don't call or anything with results.....so why do they test? for what? does anyone know? is it just progesterone levels or HCG? would they increase my levels of prog.? i am also supposed to do one sunday too ( Day 9) but the labs are closed so they told me to blow it off.....because i just go for the Beta on Day 11 anyway. what the heck? do you all have to do the day 7 & 9 bw before th big day???

today i woke up with this thought...."is this all really even happening?"

peace today,
-sunny

Hi Ladies,

Wow! My heart is filled with so much joy for you ladies who received BFPs!!! Congratulations lw918, liana, and marymeganb :P :P :P

Sunnygirl27 - I went to have blood work on days 3 and 6 after the ET. My RE called me after the day 3 blood work to increase my progesterone, estrace, and estradiol. On day 6 he called to tell me that the numbers looked good and to continue with the increased dosages. Other than that he said he would see me on the day of the beta test.

Babiesgalore - best wishes when you go for your beta tomorrow!

No matter where you are in the process, best wishes to you all.

CONGRATULATIONS to all the ladies with BFP's!! To everyone else lets stay positive and don't loose hope!!

I am going for my first exam on Sunday to see how the follicles are coming! i am feeling anxious because the last 2 times the cycles were cancelled because of low response to medication.

My protocol has been changed so hopefully this time it will be better. Can I tell in anyway whether follicles are forming or not? i am very new at this and any advice would be highly appreciated it!

Congrats on all the BFP!

That is super fantastic!!!!!!!

(((hugs))) to all the ladies on here that are still trying, whether going through IVF or had a setback... stay positive.

Tomorrow is my egg retrieval. 18 of the eggs are the perfect size for optimal fertilization and the rest are just a little bit behind. There were a totla of 25 and the will aspirate all.

When is this BETA everyone talks about?

I had a pretty bad scare the day before yesterday, my heart was racing. They wanted me to see the doctor again and made the comment that my cycle could be cancelled. (Someone needs to tell these technicians to watch what they say because hormonal women can latch on to the worst possible outcome) but the doctor said I was fine and when I get pregnant I will most likely have a racing heart through pregnancy and they can give me medication but I chose to not take anything now.

After the surgery, do you have to take pain meds?

During the ET, do you have to take a valium?

I really do not want any of those meds in my body, just curious.

Last night my husand gave me the HCG shot and I iced my butt and it didn't hurt at all. In fact, today I feel much better.

I was really feeling yesterday from the peaking estrogen, I could not have put another follisitm or menopure shot in my body. I was done!

just a quickie girls - sorry took me so long to catch up with all the posts - i have a little time to write myself

All those bfp's - woo hoo - this is fabulous news and keeps us all going!!

Dogz - do i have to board a plane and come over there and slap you silly (would pass the time on this 2ww i suppose!)???????!!!!!!! Do you want to talk yourself out of this pregnancy? this is your moment, you've been very patient and waited your turn - now lap it up!!! Seriously, have you thought that all your negative and emotional thoughts may actually be your first symptom of your pregnancy? this could be the result of your hormones running wild preparing your body for what is to come? Think about it - i really think that this may be what is happening. just relax, take a breath and enjoy this moment (the hell we all go through to get to your point - just lap it up sweetie!)

Take care gang and gl today and tomorrow to all of you who are having different things to deal with!!

Congrats, LW and LIANA on your BFP!!!

AFM...Went back for my 2nd beta this morning and my numbers more than doubled. I went from 154 to 1376! I'm really happy even though I have no idea what that means. I did find this website, http://babymed.com/FAQ/Content.aspx?13508 which I did find helpful. Now I'm just waiting on the IVF coordinator at my clinic to call with my appointment for my U/S on the 25th.
