Hi Girls,

Thought I should update you... my first scan was scheduled at the normal hospital last Friday. On Thursday night I had a real scare as I had bleeding and was rushed to A&E and the doctor told us to expect the worse. DH and I were so upset. We went in for a scan on Friday, the bleeding stopped and everything seemed normal. It was a miracle...

The hospital could not find the reason for the bleeding but they asked me to be careful...The Nuchal scan results were all normal and they said I was on the low risk category...Whew a relief...!! I am so thankful to God.

Yes...the bump is showing for me too...Hope all of you gals are keeping well and eating healthily..It is a cruitial time for us...

AFM nothing new here next appt is wed morning with OB I still dont feel super pg yet anyone else? does anyone know truely when first trimester is over 1/2 my books say week 14 and then others say week 12. I have a little belly but am putting off maternity clothes and wearing some of hubbys sweats when I am home maybe Ill pick up some this weekend. anyone having crazy dreams yet? I dreamed the baby fell out woke up freaked out then started to laugh at my self. I hope all of you wonderful ladies are doing well and feeling good keep us posted.

Sita- sounds like a subchronic hemmorrage. I had two different times that that happened. I know how scary it is. The firsst time i just started screaming for DH. The second time i stayed a little more calm, but both times the doctor would do a sono and say "There they are and they have nice strong heartbeats". Try not to worry too much i know it is easier said then done.

AFM- the books that i have read say after the 13th week so it would be the 14th week that starts the 2nd trimester.

As for me, the babies are great. Went for our second OB appt today. They tried to get the heartbeats with the doppler and could only find one. So the doctor wanted to do a sono to make sure. I knew they where ok so i wanted the sono so i could see my angels. LOL. They second one was just fine. One of my placentas are in the front of my uterus so it makes hearing the babies heartbeat hear because the baby is smaller then the placenta. I am already in materinty clothes myself.

Has anyone all ready scheduled for the BIG day to see what sex their babies are. We are scheduled for August 26, 6 more weeks.

hey ladies, glad to see you all back and everything going well... My book also says the 13th week is your last week in the first trimester, so 14th is the start of your second.

cvargas76 - yes, we are scheduled to find out the sex on July 30th. My doctor wasn't going to give me a gender sono until my 20th week. Not only was that way to long to wait but hubby wouldn't be home to come with me. So my boss told me there are private facilities that just do sonograms. Its an out of pocket expense but they offer all kinds of packages, gender determination, cd's of your 4D sono, etc. Luckily they said they could do my gender sono in my 14th week before my DH leaves. Its $60, but its guarenteed, so if the baby isn't cooperating, we can come back in a few weeks and get another sono for free. Not a bad deal!! Plus the $60 is so worth finding out early when your as impatient as I am.

I am so excited to be able to SHOP!

Other than that, everything has been good. Tired in the afternoons. Muscles in my tummy are sore. And craving creamy tomato soup like crazy!!!! Belly seems to be popping out way more that it should, but still in my old clothes. Most are buttoning but are alot more comfy with a rubber band or belle band.

Good morning ladies, How is everyone feeling? Nothing new here but that's great as far as I'm concerned. Anyone feel movement yet? I know its early but I cant wait to feel something. Dixie good luck tomorrow I know we all want healthy babies but I hope you get the gender your hoping for. I look forward to see what everyone is having I am hoping for boy but will be happy with either. its going to be so hard to hold out when I'm already thinking about giving in DH wont stand for it. Well as for us we had our 2nd ob appt and heard HB but i do this at home come on bring on the scans lol I go back AUG 25th seems like forever then they will give me my date for 20 week scan but I will be outta of town in SEP so it will be one week early or late which ever is better. Looks like we are all 2nd trimester now time for another part of our journey and glad to share it with you all Take care and Ill be back soon Best baby wishes to us

Hi Girls,

Thanks for your comments..yes thank God things are OK now...

I am feeling tired as usual in the afternoons..I also have thrush (yeast / fungal infection) which causes vaginal discharge..This is so irritating and itchy but i am scared to take Clotrimozole which the midwife gave me as it says on the instructions that I should avoid it during early pregnancy.

Have any of you girls experienced this ? Would love to hear from you...

I have my next scan at 22 weeks..i.e. Sep 16 ...which seems a long way. I am counting down the days...

Tonights the big night ladies! Cross your fingers and say your prayers that they can see what they need to see. Boy or girl, I just want to know!!! (but a girl would be awesome) If baby doesn't cooperate, I will be sooo bummed out.

we find out in 2 weeks what we are having.

Hey Ladies- I have been MIA recently- but I am glad to be back and read to see how everyone is doing...

Sita~ I am so glad to hear everything is ok- I can't imagine, I would have freaked out. Thankfully your baby is alright.

Dixie- Chop~ Yeah a boy!!! I am so excited for you, and also jealous that you already know lol!

AFM- I have my next appointment next Friday on the 14th of August. We have been told they will confirm the gender then. Since we are having twins, I am going to a High Risk and a regular OB. Thankfully all our early testing has come back normal for both babies. My high risk OB made an early gender prediction (12 wks) after my U/S of 1 girl 1 boy. As perfect that would be, we are not convinced that such an early prediction is very accurate, so we are waiting for next week. Although from talking to the ladies in the waiting room, this DR is known for being correct as early as 12 wks....we will see....

Also------

Who's showing? I have a visible bump and have had to start wearing maternity jeans or normal dresses, no fitting into my regular jeans anymore!

All other ladies~ hope you are doing well:)

Congratulations Dixie Chop.. it is exciting to know the sex...

DH and I are also waiting but it seems are long way away..i.e. 16th September. Hopefully the days will pass quickly.

Yes, I am showing too and am wearing maternity trousers and jeans..People have noticed too..Am quite excited and waiting to see the baby again in Sep at 22 weeks.

Sita - I am also in maternity pants. i can button my old jeans but they're just uncomfortable. and my work clothes dig into my stomach when i sit down. so i got over the maternity clothes phobia and now i'm comfortable. the really weird part is that i have a visible pouch but i have only gained 1.5lbs. can't figure that one out.
