I have been wanting to post all day, but have been busy with a very fussy baby...I can see the tippy top of her first tooth peeking through the gum and she has been a crankpot!

pathfinder- Congrats on your bfp! So exciting to add another one to the list! I will be hoping for great numbers for you!

lisahope- I don't know what to say about that. I do know that hpt's are not always the best measure, they can be different depending on brand and time of day, and how much liquid you have had to drink. There are a lot of factors, so I would try not to worry too much and maybe test again, or wait for beta.

ladybug- maybe it's better that thenurse didn't tell you numbers, but it sounds like you are stimming well.

katie- I am praying for a good u/s and bw for you tomorrow.

amandamae- welcome and I wish I had better advice for you on the 2ww. It is the worst, I know, and all I can say is try and keep occupied, do some crafting, shopping, spa, visiting with friends and family, anything to try and keep your mind busy. Or spend lots of time on these boards with us and maybe the days will just fly by!

cressica- 2 grade A is great news. I will keep my fingers crossed that all goes well at ET tomorrow.

I know I missed a lot of you...but know that I have been reading and trying to keep up, I will try to post more often so I can get to everyone.

afm- nothing new really, I go for my first supression check on tuesday since doubling my lupron dose. I am hopeful, but don't expect anything to have changed yet, I guess I am just more curious to see the numbers.

fitz- those are normal lupron side effects...besides for that, I also get really bad headaches, bruising at injection site, and red and itchy when I actually inject for like an hour. I can't believe I have been able to put up with the stuff for 2 months and might even be over another month to go...it sucks.

pathfinder- CONGRATULATIONS! I'm wishing you the best on your next Beta...let those numbers rise!!! :D

babydust2- hang in there...each day things can change dramatically!

cressicaw- great news about your embies!!YEY!

dogz- any good news? are you okay? i am thinking about you.

julie- i feel like i let you down since i have been out of touch the last few days. i was just trying to keep busy! i know if any one of us were you we would be freaking out right now. forget the wine.....i already told my dh to have the jim beam ready on Tuesday if this doesn't work out. it is hard enough to stay positive and remain calm w/o thinking you may be getting your AF. i know that i have been feeling crampy myself. it helps to post, but we also have to remember that each one of us is so different and everyone has so many experiences that are similar & different from one another. that's why you need to hold it together until tomorrow and just see what happens after the Beta. i am praying that we see another BFP and that you will be celebrating......wishing you the very best tonight with your dh.

Best to all the newbies and veterans...sorry i just can't keep up right now for too many personals!

AFM- no offense ladies but i was really trying to stay away from the computer. i keep trying to analyze everything and i think i am just going crazy. i have absolutely NO symptoms...feel great! which of course means i'm not pregnant, right? UGH! my best friend is coming to visit tomorrow night ( he is one of two friends who knows besides our family) and we are planning to have a great week together regardless of the outcome. YEY!~ that's my plan and i'm gonna try to stick to it! it's our 1st ivf, so i am trying to look on the bright side ( even though i'm 40) i am determined to try one more time even though if it works we will be tapped out financially and living out of a cardboard box! classy, eh? anyway, i'm sure like all of you on the 2ww, i don't plan to sleep the next few nights until the Beta....i gotta say, i really can't understand you girls who do the HPT beforehand...i just can't bring myself to do it!!!! i am WAY too scared!

Peace, follies, embies & baby dust and hugs to you all! Especially julie & dogz tonight!

Hello everyone -
Well I think that my ovaries are finally cooperating. They are up to something at least. Since last night my abdomen has gotten so swollen & tender, I'm walking like a 90 year old. I'm wondering how I'll deal with a 4hr drive to the clinic tomorrow? I think I may have to go in my pj pants as thats all I'm comfy in today. Dont get me wrong, I'm thrilled to finally be seeing something happen. I just hope they see those follies getting bigger. Also I keep getting flushed, like all of a sudden from the neck up. Thats a new one on me. I didnt have that any cycle before, but then again I've never been on such a high dose either. dh would like me to stop adjusting the air conditioning every 20 min., but I told him when HE is pumped full of hormones then he can have the house whatever temp he wants. So there! :D

dogz -hoping for good beta news tomorrow, hon

michele - Yay, some chompers for miss Ella, finally! think of all the new crunchy foods she can try now. I hope that your E2 shows a decrease on Tues. :D

Iamhopeful - Good luck with your b/w & u/s on Wed!

ladybug - thanks! Yes, I think from now on I'll just look at the ceiling instead! he he. Good luck at your u/s . Grow those follies!

sunny - I've heard of lots of BFPs where they had NO signs & symptoms at all! Sending you loads of PMA!!!

Sorry if I missed anyone - you are all in my thoughts & prayers!

ER this morning produced way more eggs than expected. My RE was hoping for 20 and we ended up with 31! I am anxious to hear more about them tomorrow...

Michelle- can you add me to your list...Looking to do ET on either 8/12 or 8/14.

Off to rest for me, I did not expect this much pain post ER :( It's all worth it though right? :)

CT Michele: I started stims 8/6, ER around 8/17, I know the nurse scared me but she said I'm doing very well. We'll see my results tomorrow. How cute her 1st tooth. GL with your appt Tues.

Fitzjr11: With the lupron I had the hot flashes and very bad mood swings by poor DH.

Dillysgirl: Thats great, more eggs to choose from. Praying for great news. Feel Better

Katie99:Thx I pray I have good news tomorrow and I hope my follies are growing as well. I have the same feeling I get soooo hot and flushed, my stomach feels tighter and is very sore. Hope your follies are getting bigger.

Cressicaw: Thanks

I just wanted to say thank you for all the warm welcomes and the thoughts about staying busy during the 2ww..... I have found myself being here reading these posts. I think in a way it helps with all the anxiety that I have going on. It seems that my husband is very supportive but just does not understand why I find myself glued to the computer screen reading the posts. I have tried to stay away from hpts but of course I have taken quite a few at this point. At first they were negative and then when I tried it I got two positives. My nurse said it was way to early for me to be testing and I should not get my hopes up about the results. I am going to do another test tomorrow-of course-since I will be 8 dpt and see what happens. Any one ever test early like that and really end up pregnant?

I just want all the women on here to know that I have you all in my thoughts and prayers. I cant imagine what it is like to have to go through this over and over again-since this is my first time around I feel like a beginner. I do wish the best for each and everyone of you!!!!

Hi Gals,
I haven't written in awhile because I've been trying to stay busy...working on my website for my business, writing, watching movies, working, etc. Well, yesterday I broke down and took a HPT and it showed a faint second line, which on this HPT (First Response Early Result) means PREGNANT. I took another one this morning and the second line is now darker! I'm feeling like this could be the outcome I've been wanting for soooo long. I go for my BETA on Tuesday, which is 11 days after my 3 day transfer. Wish me luck gal. I need all the prayers I can get.

Sunnygirl: Keep your head up! Lots of women have no symptoms this early.

Lisahope: Some of the nurses told me that if I was drinking lots of water, it could effect a pregnancy test. Try try try to stay positive and wait for your bloodtest.

Amandamae: This is a great place to ask questions, get support, and make friends. I know the 2ww sucks! Take some deep breaths.

Dillysgirl: I had a lot of pain this time after ER as well. You probably are feeling pain because of the high amount of eggs you had. You go girl! Rest well. ET is so much easier!

My thoughts are with all of you!!!

dillys- holy moly thats a lot of eggies! Congrats!

tortilla- sounds good for you...congrats on a positive hpt and good luck at upcoming beta!

amanda- everytime I do hpt's way early, I don;t care what my dr says, I am addicted to them! It sounds like good news for you too. Most people will see an accurate result around 8 or 9 days past a 3 days transfer, but after all the time I have spent on these boards, I can tell you, I have seen real positives earlier, the earliest being 5dp3dt (8dpo) but it is rare. Then there are the other extremes, late implanters like myself, who torture themselves with negative hpts, which do not produce faint super faint lines until the afternoon before beta.

ladybug- I admire you for being able to listen to them and not obsess over numbers. My clinic knows better by now, they know that I want to hear the numbers and now exactly, in technical terms, what is going on. They know I have spent way too much time learning and reading about ivf, I know too much for my own good.

katie- so glad to hear your ovaries are cooperating...and you go on with your bad self and wear those pj pants proud! Haha, now that I am a stay at home mom, I wear pj pants all the time...oh my goodness, Clinton and Stacey from "what not to wear" would kill me if they saw what I ran out to the store in sometimes...lol

Ok, I really need to sleep now, I stay up way too late every night.

Hi Girls. Hope everyone is doing well. Lots going on here as usual...

Dogz~ Hugs to you. I really hope you get a miracle and the Beta's creep up. I can only imagine what you are going through. Ugh. My heart is heavy right now. If is so hard. Its hard seeing good people who so want this struggle.....best of luck....hang in there. We are here for you.

Tortilla and Pathfinder~ Congrats on the BFPs! Wow.....so encouraging.

AFM, nothing new here. I decided to stay on BCP one more week....if I stop now I would need my supression check while on vaca.....so I am pushing my cycle back by a week. After this long....whats another week, right??
