Wanted to check and see if everyone was still hanging in there. I have my c-section sch. for August 20th (due on 8/26/09).

I have a question???????? I have a cerclage in and last Monday I was having severe pubic pain went to the hospital and they said that I was dil. 1cm I know that that is not that much BUT with the cerclage I thought that you didn't dil. at all. With my daughter (1st IVF) I didn't dil. with Cer. should I worry???????????????????????????//

Any input would be great.

Just checking in to see how everyone is doing. I'm almost 35 weeks. Saw my regular OB this morning and we're tight as a drum! LOL No dilation at all. {sigh} But I know I shouldn't wish them here early. It's best that they stay put. But man, I am uncomfortable! Baby A likes to lay in the middle of my belly so that Baby B is smushed to the side and protruding out. Makes sitting and laying down most painful. Standing is about the only position I am comfortable in. But then my feet swell to the size of small watermelons. I can't win. My OB is concerned about preeclampsia even though my pressure is fine and no protein in my urine. That would really suck! We see the high risk OB next week to check the one low-lying placenta and make sure it won't hamper a vaginal birth. I really want to labor to start naturally. So I'm going to take it easy and see what happens.

How are y'all doing?

I am right there with you. I feel your pain...sleeping in a recliner? Well, my tummy actually shifts when I lay on my side without a wedge...I am starting to get to the uncomfortable part...but started swimming more and more. It is such relief. They are over 3 lbs each and my health is great so we will see what happens. You think that taking it easy will allow labor to start on its own? I am quitting work to take it easy but I was thinking of walking the neighborhood in the evenings/mornings in a couple more weeks. I don't want to push the premature labor...

Is everyone still hanging on? Any of you twin mommies deliver yet? Twins tend to deliver early so didn't know if you all are still around.

We all only have a few weeks left it has gone really fast, not sure if I am ready for it to be over, but my DD wants her baby sister here NOW.

Hi ladies, I am still here I have just been too busy to get on and post. Not much longer now for all of us. I am scheduled for a c-section five weeks from tomorrow - it is so strange because although I am enjoying being pregnant it still hasn't hit home that we are having a baby yet. I am assuming it is this way since it took us so many years to get pregnant. The doctor told me last week that the baby is measuring one week ahead so maybe he will move the c-section up to the week before which would be neat since it is my sisters 50th birthday. I hope everyone is doing well and ready for their little miracles to arrive.

Hey everyone. Well, our boys are here! They arrived last Wednesday, the 15th at 34 weeks, 6 days. Baby B, aka Ford, was in the NICU for several days with some amniotic fluid in his lungs, but he was released yesterday and now we are all home and doing great! We're exhausted but man, they are so worth it. Amazing! Hope everyone else is doing well. Hang in there!

Cocosmomma - Congrats! Would love to hear more about the boys and the delivery whenever you have a chance.....although I'm sure you dont have many free moments lol!

I just hit my 34th week and am so ready to have these babies!!! On one hand I can't imagine being pregnant another 4 weeks till my scheduled c-section (8/18) but I want to be able to take them both home with me and avoid the NICU so I know the longer they stay in the better. But man this is getting really uncomfortable! At least last week was my last week of work so I can just lounge around in my pj's all day and wait.....

HOpe everyone else is doing well!

I Came home from the hospital today after a couple of days in on bedrest for decels and spotting from my cerclage.

Just checking in on everyone.

Has anyone else had their baby/ babies?

I am still hanging on. I am sch. for my c-section on Aug. 20th (12 more days) sometimes I want the baby out now because I get so uncomfortable other times I think I can wait forever (this is my last pregnancy and trying to relish the baby all to myself before I have to share her with my family).

I stopped my 17p injections over 2 weeks ago and the contractions have picked up but not steady. Not showing any other signs of labor or leaking water ect.

Keep us all posted as to when your babies/ baby are born.

Well my twins are here! My water broke on July 30th at 3:30 a.m. and they were delivered via c-section at 5:42 and 5:43 a.m. We've had to do some NICU time.....Leah is coming home tomorrow and Jackson has to stay until at least Thursday.....they have both had aphnea episodes which has kept them in the NICU this long. I am so ready to finally have my babies home! They are so amazing!!!!

Wow, this is getting really exciting! I can't believe we are finally here! So, congrats to those that have had their babies. I am scared of the potential pain but I have to get over that. Something is holding my body back from going into labor. I am 36 weeks with twins! (6 days from what the mayo clinic says is full term for a singleton) so we are excited, hoping every passing day will make them healthier, however, my back is killing me. Dr told me to walk so I walk twice a day for 20-30 minutes and swim 1 to 1.5 hours two to three times a week. I of course twisted my knee walking (loose ligaments?). Feels like I just can't win! HA! Hanging in there...babyhope1.

cocosmama & ANNIE ! CONGRATULATIONS YOU DID IT! How are you guys feeling? i don't expect you to answer right away as i am sure you are totally busy! Hugs and kisses to you little ones!

I am scheduled for a csection on 9/1 if it doesn't happen sooner. I am sorry i have been MIA, we had majoe construction going on in the house for 7 weeks, i was miserable, sleeping on the floor, dust everywhere, it was just awful but all is done now and trying to finish setting up DS's room to accomodate the baby too. still have a lot of organizing to do and to set up the crib YIKES! i have been feeling fine just typical pregnany stuff, heartburn, swelling etc.... baby is doing great, still working getting a little bit more anxious about the deilvery. i still havent pack my bag but i least i got the cord blood registry done....... I thinkmy last day of work will be in 8/28. i would be too nervous to stay home any relax and wait until 9/1!

my only dilema is that DS is starting school on the 9th and DS can't take off from work so i will have to bring him, will be very very rough start but what can i do?
Anyhoo, can't wait to hear everyone's delivery story!

Hope33 How are you doing? I am sch for my c-section in 2 more days. I have not been able to sleep at night, so I am on the web. Other than a ton of pressure I can not believe that I made it this far. I had my DD at 35 weeks and my peri thought that I would deliver this one before that. I am very uncomfortable and getting moody(driving my DH crazy)

Babyhope1 - I can't believe that you are still pregant with twins. I thought that most delivered by 36 weeks!! They just don't want to come out. Keep us posted.
