hey tabatha! I've been thinking about you. You're one of the people I had tried to PM but it hasn't been working for me. So sorry to hear about your house!!! :( I'm glad to hear your pregnancy is still going well though. I was worried about you! You said "he's" okay so does that mean you're having a boy??

I think I have a few pics from 20 weeks. I'm definitely getting big!

I'm about 3 weeks ahead of some of you and this is my second, so I've been feeling movement for at least a month, even up to 5 weeks, now. You will not notice it and it will suprise you, for SURE! :) Take heart, because once you start to feel it, it DOES NOT stop :)!!!!!!!!

tabatha: so sorry to hear about your house, your english is so broken, it's hard for me to understand what you are trying to say in your posts, but I'd take your burden from you if I could! I feel HUGE!!!! I'd love to feel too skinny :)

AFM: I went in to the OB/GYN Friday and found out I have an infection- no biggie, just 5 days of antibiotics- more of a pain in the butt than anything! Speaking of pains in the BUTT!!!! My constipation is so bad, I think I'm going to have to start using colase every other night (3 tablets)!!! :(

And sorry, but I've just got to vent.... I'm completely freaked over the potential that breastfeeding won't work. The fact that it didn't with my first threw me into post partum, bad. :( I came into this pregnancy thinking if it works, great, if not, no biggie! But NOW, that I'm getting closer and closer to the last trimester, I feel this growing pressure for it to work..... just from a financial aspect :(

My husband is NOT supportive, or I guess I should say AS supportive as I WANT/NEED him to be. But yesterday in church he asked me what was wrong, or what all I was thinking about and I could have completely BURST into tears!!!!!!!!!!!! I did NOT, thank God :) but I can just feel all this emotional yuck just under the surface...... almost like I just need a good cry :(

I know it will all work out........ I just want it to work out the way I WANT it to work out.....

My movement has finally kicked into overdrive! The boy in particular and I know it's him because he's so low.

Nicole, I'm also on the 3 colace about every other night!! It is the WORST! I'm also concerned about the breastfeeding. I really don't know what to expect. So many of my friends suffered the first few weeks trying to get the baby to latch on and what not. I'm thinking, how am I going to get through this with 2?! I think I'd be ok with formula though. Who knows how I'll feel when the time comes.

Well my vent for the day is I woke up to some terrible shaking this morning! It was like convulsions or something. At first I thought maybe I just came out of a bad dream so I went to the bathroom and when I came back to bed and put my head on the pillow the room started spinning and my body started shaking again. It wasn't painful but a very bad feeling. This was at 3am. I moved to the recliner and have been awake every since. I did try to lay down once more when DH got home from work and the same thing happened. I have an appt with my ob at 2 pm today. DH thinks my blood pressure has gotten really low. The nurse also said that would be one of the things they would look for. Woe is me. It seems to be something new each week

Cynthia~ that sounds right on with low blood pressure- I'm not sure how they treat it, but from what I've read, it is VERY normal and treatable. Just take it VERY slow and easy! :) Take care and of course PLEASE! keep us posted!!!!

Well the trip to the Ob was a complete waste. Everything checked out normal including my blood pressure. They really don't know what's going on so they say things like "with it being so hot outside, you probably just need more fluids". Um, hello. You have me on modified bed rest which means I haven't left the house in days. I couldnt' tell you if it were 100 degrees or 20 degrees outside and my body doesn't know either! Then she chalked it up to "you are around the time in your pregnancy where it could just be one of those things". Great. Now I just have to suffer through whatever this is. Guess I'll try to take a nap in my recliner now.

I try so hard not to gripe about these things because of how badly we want these babies and how much we've gone through to have them, but sometimes I just want to punch a wall!

Cyn~ Remember your babies and remember your blood pressure- what a dance we have to learn, huh!?! I'm glad there isn't anything wrong, but I'm sure it is very scary, just keep bugging them when it happens! If anything tell them you felt like you were almost having a seizure, IF that's what it actually felt like.

I know. No sense in RAISING my blood pressure :P . I did get to sleep a couple hours in bed. I felt myself get dizzy a few times and started to shake my leg a little to get through it. So maybe whatever it is is passing.

Hey everyone!
Hope everyone is doing good...I've been reading all the posts...there's been a lot in a few days!
So everyone is constipated? I have the opposite problem, I usually go just normal OR I have diarrhea...I've had a lot of diarrhea. But you know, I think I'd rather have diarrhea than be constipated. So I def. feel for you girls!! Although, if I'm at work or out shopping and it hits me, it's not so fun.

As far as breastfeeding, I've heard it all. Everyone is telling me something different.
It was painless
It was painful
The baby latched on great
The baby didn't latch on ever
My breast hurt terrible
My breast didn't hurt at all
I had milk fever

So my friends and family have all tried to give me advise. I have decided not to breast feed. Mainly because my lifestyle of always being busy would really make breastfeeding a pain the the rear. Plus, I was breast fed and my husband was bottle fed, yet in the five years we've been together he's had one cold and I've had probably twenty. I've had three colds while being pregnant.
Really, just don't stress over it. If it doesn't work out, I think you and the baby will be just fine. If it works and you like it, great. If it doesn't, don't beat yourself up about it...just be happy you have the baby you have always wanted!

By the way cymplicity27 you have a cute little bump! Mine is looking bigger, but not as big as I would have expected at 22 weeks. Wow, 22 weeks...where has the time gone?!
Take care everyone!

I'm sorry to hear about your breastfeeding issue but you won't know if it will work out until the baby is born. I'm hoping everything will go as planned for you hun!

cymplicity27- your belly is soooo cute! You look great! and I love the 3d pic of your baby girl. I'm sorry to hear about the shaking episode and I hope it was just something that came and won't come back.

kutekellie99- I'm with you on having diarrhea I'm not constipated at all (not that I'm complaining) but sometimes i get hit with D and its awfull especially at work.

AFM I'm doing good so far. Please pray for me tomorrow that the baby will open its legs and show me the goods :D this will be my last u/s so my last chance to find out unless I go to a private clinic. I'll update when i find out!

kutekelli: You are absolutely right :) That helps give me perspective and I thank you soooo much for that!!!

On a side note.... I had like 6 B-H contractions within an hour last night, then they slowed to 4 in one hour. I almost called, but they weren't regular or painful.... I checked the baby's heart rate on my doppler and it was wiggling around just fine. And up at 4 AM!!!!!!

Nicole, I get them quite frequently! Usually when I think to start timing them they stop  . When I do time them they are anywhere from 30 to 45 mins apart. Sometimes I'll hit 3-4 in an hour. I do usually gulp down a lot of water when I start to feel them and they go away. Mine come on most frequently in the evening.

What exacty does a B-H contraction feel like? I had some cramps the other day, was that a B-H?

Also, just wanted to ask you ladies something else. When your baby kicks, are they doing it in a pattern? Some days my baby kicks like crazy, then the next day, NOTHING. Is this normal? It always makes me worrry since I was told that if you stop feeling regular movement, it can mean something is wrong and the baby might be stillborn. So of course, that freaks me out if I don't feel the baby one day, I start thinking something is wrong with her. So is your movement everyday all day?

Kellie I read that kicks don't really get rhythmic until around 26 weeks I think. Right now they'll be sporadic. And it depends on how your baby is turned. He could be kicking inward and you not feel it. That's funny because this afternoon I mentioned to DH that I hadn't felt the babies kick this morning. So I started tapping my belly and saying "hellooo? Wake up in there and let mommy know you're ok!" It took a few minutes but then the boy started right up kicking me in my butt. I felt a few up high and knew it was the girl. I'm finding that they move a lot at night so maybe yours are night owls too  .

My b-h contractions just feel like tightening. No pain or cramps at all. Just a small part of my uterus tightens up to where if I touch it, it's hard as a rock and doesn't give. Mine only last about 10 seconds or so.
