Ok so I gave in and did a hpt yesterday morning, and waited 3 minutes and obviously nothing showed up. A little discouraged but I expected as much 8dp3dt. Later in the evening I looked at it again and saw a very faint line, but since it was 10 hours later I did not get too excited.
This morning I did another test and waited. As I was waiting I read the tests instructions to make the time go faster and read that I have to wait 5 minutes on this test. So I waited and got a light line
Still not letting myself get too excited as until I get my Friday BETA result I don't think that I will believe in it.

tunieczka - I dont want to discourage you but I have been addicted to taking pregnancy tests in the past and I always noticed after I found them in the trash after a few hours they would always turn positive, I was told that they can only be read during the time suggested on box. Otherwise, I would have been pregnant like a dozen times. It doesn't mean you are not, I just wanted to share this with you.

My doctor strongly suggested to a group of us not to take these too early, they will give false positives. So as hard as it is for me (and they fact I have probably 30 or so in the cabinet) I am waiting for the blood test.

Hi Ladies. Sorry for being mia but been reading up on all of u although have not posted for a while. I went in for my first ultrasound today and saw one beautiful heartbeat. The baby is measuring just right and the position looks good. I go back again next week. So excited and i think it is finally sinking in. Of course i am still trying to be cautiously optimistic.

Hard for me to do personals to everyone but want to say to those who are stimming "Grow follies grow". To those who have triggered wishing u lots of eggies and to those who are in the 2WW "stick embie stick". Congrats to all those with BFPs. The worry will never end so hang in there. My motto is to take it one day at a time.

Baby dust to all u lovely ladies!

My clinic has said not to do HPT's also. But I bought some already. I am 6dp5dt. What do you guys think is the earliest I should test? I was thinking Saturday. It would be 9dp5dt. Is that too early? I can't take false positive. My clinic says only blood can give results so early.

ladybug - It's great that you stuck to your gut feeling! that's all any of us can do with this process once we've done a little reaseach. I think every RE office is a little different. I know my office goes with the theory that if you let the embies go to blast stage they survive freeze and thaw better. But they will only do that if you have plenty of embies to work with...I've always gone to day 6 for freezing and had two or three to transfer. Most of my fresh transfers have been day 5 also, and they've looked great (according to them!). I don't think they are just going for my $ either cause I'm on a success insurance program with them since my real insurance doesn't cover any of this, so I've paid up front and the less cycles they have to do, the more they make! Hopefully you don't have to worry about any of this since this time will work! :)

To all the BFPs that have been coming in - Congrats!!! I've been reading each day, it's just hard to keep up sometimes. and I feel very much like nothing is moving with me. I know I'm taking my pills and lupron each morning...it just takes forever to get to the first check! I go in Friday morning for my lining check...hopefully it looks good! Even my DH said yesterday he was ready to get things moving. He's so cute...previous cycles I feel like he half paid attention to what was going on - this time when I said I was nervous about the next few weeks he said he was too, and he was surprised cause he had not felt like this before! Maybe this was how it was supposed to be...God was waiting for my DH to be ready for the craziness a baby brings too...

Also, I give anyone that POAS ahead of time props. I never ever have had the guts to do it! I like to be PUPO as long as possible and I guess I've always felt that could shorten it!

Hope everyone is having a good day!

I am sorry. I have been such a bad poster. I feel so terrible as I am usually more reponsive to everyones news and questions however we have had a whirlwind of a few days and are considering holding off on IVF for a bit.

Monday when I picked DS-Sawyer up from daycare, his provider told us he had been running a small temp. He was a bit quiet but smiling just the same. When we got home we took his temp and it was 102.3. We gave him tylenol and DH-Marty rocked him to comfort. Withing 5 minutes of him getting the tylenol he began to seize on Marty's chest. He stopped breathing again and began to vomit. We cleared his mouth and called 911. When the EMTs arrived, the clonic and tonic (shaking) part of the seizure was over but he was still stiff, clenched and un-responsive (though breathing). We were taken to Maine General via ambulance.

When we arrived he was still in a post seizure state and was unresponsive to voice and was not following mov't with his eyes. He remained that way until he was transferred to Portland. While still at Maine General, he continued to have smaller seizures with a right sided daze and upper extremity shaking. They had to give him Versed and Valium to stop the activity. Before transfer to Portland, he had head CT, chest x ray and blood cultures. All normal. All signs pointed to a complex febrile seizure brought on by a virus.

We arrived at Maine Medical at 11 PM. Care was excellent all around in Augusta and in Portland. Sawyer had an EEG (brain waves) and it was normal as well. We met with the pediatric neurologist and he concurred with Maine Generals treatment and diagnosis. Sawyer was pretty loopy all night but slept well and awoke alert and HUNGRY!!! He was slow to get going but by the end of today he was running around, talking and laughing. A huge change from the night before which happened to be the scariest and longest night of our lives.

We were discharged late afternoon today with valium suppositories in case of another seizure and orders to follow up with an outpatient neurologist. So I think we might hold off until we get things a bit settled. So if I do not post for a bit, this is why but I want to wish you all luck and sending positive vibes your way!!!

Miyaya: I am sorry to hear all that you and DH had to go thru. I'm just glad that u got him to the hospital in time and they were able to treat him. Oh gosh! I can only imagine what u must have been going through. My prayers go out to u that u're DS make a complete recovery. How old is he? Lots of hugs to u! I guess our worries does not end with the delivery!

Miyaya...so sorry to hear about your week. That is so scary. And probably not the stress you need right now.

AMF...I had some light brown spotting today when I woke up. It didn't last long. I read up on implantation bleeding and most sites say average on day 6 to 11, which I am. Now I am going to get my hopes up, but it is way to early for a period and it is not red. I hope I am right! I never had this with my IUI's and they were all neg!

Evening ladies,

miyaya Scary times!!! Thank god everything seems to be ok with ds ye must have been sooo scared.

Ladybug i had similarish experience on Monday - the nurse tried to convince me to let my 2 day 3 frozen embies thaw and leave till day 5. She said the embryologist would prefer this to see if they are strong i said No Way i have only 2 and they were only given a 70% chance of surviving the thaw and i was not risking waiting a further 2 days besides i want them back in their natural environment ASAP if they are going to die I want it to be in me and not on a dish. I have been thro. a blast. cycle where none made it to day 5 and i was devastated worse than getting a bfn!! I told the nurse i signed for day 3 transfer and that is how it was going to stay. You go put your feet up and let those embies snuggle in tight.

Lisa fingers crossed its implantation as its too early for AF.

Babiesgalore i am so happy for you, you must be relieved but i understand your need to be cautiously optimistic.

Nicole good luck on Friday it will soon pick up pace.

Penny2 good luck with trigger xxxx

Right ladies i am not the most religious person but i do believe in the power of prayer and am in the middle of an emergency 9 hour novena - where you pray every hr on the hr for 9 hrs - I need all the help i can get. Please God i will have good news tomorrow.
