There was a friend of mine on here about 10 months ago and she was trying cycle 8...SHE GOT PREGNANT and just had her baby girl on the 11th. Everyone told her to give up also. It took Brook Shields 8 or 9 times! It took me 4 and my baby girl was worth every penny and tear!
Don't ever let anyone tell you to give up on or dream! I agree with mjay...this is TODAY!!! Tomorrow will be a different day! GOOD LUCK!

hey ladies so i have been finally feeling better & was able finally 2 get downstairs and use my computer....1st off my water broke on july 22 & i had my c section & eric gabriele was born at 6:37 pm weighed 8lbs 2 oz was 21 inches long & head size was 13 1/2 he is perfect.....i am feeling okay i have my good days and bad days i am just really lucky that eric is such a great baby he sleeps about 4 to 5 hrs a night & i am breastfeeding which he lacked on with no problems...anyhow i just wanted to let all u ladies know i have been thinking of u all.....& i will be posting pics of baby eric soon.....big hugs to u all

Wishing 4 blessings and gina, congrats on your babies! I am so happy for both of you! Gina its great your little one latched on right away...so wonderful! I hope nursing continues to go well.
NY- Thought you had two prefect ones in the freezer! If so, don't be bummed even with another cycle that does not look at as good as you hoped. One of those frosties is probably your future baby! Did I miss something, you do have two good ones right (by CGH)? If I missed an FET, I am sorry!
Chris- Are you doing that last cycle with your own eggs? I hope so...I have a good feeling about it. That is what happened to me...that one last cycle. Funny, my husbands company switched insurance again which means i have another cycle if I want to try for baby two. I love it when insurance changes now! So odd as it used to make me mad to have to switch it all!
As for me, I am 38 weeks and still truckin along! I am hoping to go into labor naturally. The baby is nice and low and in the right position. I have zillions of contractions, but I don't feel like anything is really happening soon. Guess we will see. The doctor does not want me to go over my due date due to my health...so I hope I go into labor on my own soonish (well in a week or so). The longer she cooks the better as far as I am concerned. Although I sometimes think, just get her out in case something bad happens. That paranoia never really seems to go away!

AFM - Still in lala land about my next cycle. DH won't find out about his insurance till Oct. My clinic has about a 2 month wait to cycle so I am going to be put on the Nov cycle to cycle with my eggs. If it comes out in Oct that DH doesn't have infertility coverage then I might cancel the cycle and then do DE in Feb/March. DH and I have been in a big fight for the past week. His big idea was to save of the money for DE and then cycle in Nov 2010. There is no way that I am waiting till Nov 2010. DH doesn't understand about the whole getting older thing and the stats of conceiving each year after you turn 35. Men can be so clueless.
I am currently taking tons of supplements, l'arginne, pycegenol & DHEA to try and get my ovaries ready for Nov. Will also start acupuncture again in the next couple of weeks. I want to be hopeful about my eggs, but i have been let down so many times that it is hard to think that something might go like it should.

Good luck with the supplements! I hope the Nov cycle works, I will be hoping you have the same miracle as me. My cycle was my last one and it was in Nov so there you go. I did my transfer on the 28th, the day after thankgiving. I actually did the retrieval on a tuesday, flew to my brothers in Boston from the MD clinic for TDay dinner, flew early Friday for transfer (3 day or course) and then Friday evening back to Boston! And it worked! Maybe all the positive vibes of having family around, but I just thought it was that a good egg came my way that month....I had 3 transfered, an 8 a 7 and a 4. One even got stuck in the catheter, so they had to re transfer. I was freaked out, looked it up and found a thread where people said it was a good omen to have a sticky embryo. I would totally laugh about that, but I used to work in a lab where we did some procedures with fruit flies and without being technical, I remember my best specimens would get stuck in the pipet. Weird eh?
Anyway, I am really hoping the same miracle happens for you. I hate to get your hopes up, but God do I know how you feel (well I only went through 4 cycles) but I mean I was looking at donor programs assuming my last cycle did not work and it did!

AFM.. ER was yesterday.. was like a sitcom.. i got up had a conference call at 8 left for the dr at 9 makeup and all fully dressed. Had ER at 10 was redressed and in my office at 12 and had meetings stright through until 630 pm...
Bottom line had 14 eggs 9 were mature and 9 fertilised so we will see..
There isn o question that stress etc effects cycles.. when i was not working was the cycle when i had 21 eggs etc... anyway we will see what makes it..

Update: My twins were born on 8-12-09. My bloodwork showed low platelets (clots blood) so I had to induce on the 11th. They weren't sure if I could have an epidural but the bloodwork showed I could for the next 12 hours. I was induced at 11 pm, water broke at 3 am, epidural at 4 am, dialated to a 10 at 7 am. Started pushing at 8 am, Alexander Joseph born at 8:48 (in the OR in case emergency C section) he was 5 lbs 13 oz (I was 36 weeks 3 days) and Abigail Ceslie fell right into place and followed him out at 8: 51 (both vaginally!!!) she was 4 lbs 2 oz. Both went to NICU, he was there for 4 hours (minimum stay) and she was there for 6 days, brought her home on the 18th. I have been amazingly busy ever since, all are well.

Babyhope and berning - Congrats on the arrival of your babies. Glad to see all went well and babies are at home now. I guess you both are pretty busy right now.
NY - Congrats on your 9 fert eggs. That is still awesome that you can have that many. This is your third ER that you are banking correct? When will you be transferring? I can't believe you were back at work 2 hrs later. Didn't even have time to go home and take a nap. You are my hero. Hope you are still liking your new job but looks like they are keeping you busy. Good luck!!!

I was pretty bored the other day and started reading post from last year when this board was starting and now I have come to 2 conclusions.
1 - I spent way too much time here because I was always posting &
2 - Nothing has changed, I am still in the exact same spot I was a year ago. I hate all this crap!!!
I thought about starting up another board for Oct/Nov but just can bring myself to do it. It is just too hard these days to try and keep up PMA and hoping that this might work.

NY - Congrats on your 9 fert eggs. That is still awesome that you can have that many. This is your third ER that you are banking correct? When will you be transferring? Katherine Emma was born on 8/9/2009 and I can tell you all that we went through/ are going through is worth it!
She was induced after my labor stalled with pitocin at 2 pm, epidural at 4 pm, 10 CM at 8:30 pm, started pushing at 8:45, born at 9:39 pm. She was 6 pounds, 10 oz and 9 days early. Apgar was 9 at 1 minute, 9 at 5 minutes!
She is gerber baby beautiful and is sleeping on my lap right now!
