SorryI didn't post anything yesterday. We got home sooo late (decided to go shopping after the ultrasound).

Well we recieved some very surprising news from our ultrasound! We are expecting TWINS!
Right as we were starting it I told the Dr. I thought it was just one and he said he felt the same as my BETA wasn't really high and I'm not really showing or anything. Well they found one yolk sac right off the bat- front and center and VERY surprisingly found a heartbeat. It's still kind of early and the dr. was surprised. They looked around just to be sure and I heard the tech say "there is another one!". I Said "WHAT?! Hold on! what? There are how many?!" My husband said I looked at him with the biggest "OH CRAP" look on my face. I don't think he has stopped grinning since we saw it. They did not find a second heartbeat yet, but the dr, nurse, and tech ALL said do not worry one bit. It was surprising to see the one and the other baby is laying further back. They said it is spot on growth wise so they weren't worried. Also found that I apparently have a bit of a division in my uterus that is a bit of a concern. I'll be going to a specialist at 12 weeks to check everything out, but since I've had one successful pregnancy they don't think it will be too much to worry about. I was upset because I had an HSG and it should have been seen on that. My RE said my regular OB/GYN probably saw it and though nothing of it, however, if he would have known about it he would have had it removed prior to the IVF. I kind of think maybe it is a good thing though because what if that had caused scar tissue or something? Anyways I'm trying really hard not to worry about not seeing the other heartbeat (I was 5 wk 5 days) or my weird uterus.
Anyway we are like OVER the moon! SOOO surprised. I should have known it was coming maybe cause I've been non-stop sick
I have another ultra sound in 2 weeks to make sure everything is going along well. I'm praying that we see both heartbeats so I can feel at ease about them both.

I promise I'll be on tomorrow to post personals. I'm just very tired this evening and hopped on here to let you know our good news!

I took a HPT this morning (I am 3 days away from the 2WW from ET) and it was positve.

Mlorfei- Congratulations! that is great news! Sooo happy for you.

cressicaw-That is wonderful! Isn't it amazing to see? I took a hpt 6dp5dt and it was a faint positive (with a dollar tree test) and tested again yesterday 8dp5dt with digital First Response and got a "Yes +" sign. My DH is still in shock.

gi- hang in there lady! Your embies will thaw beautifully. And have faith that FET do work!

I prayed for all of you lovely ladies yesterday. I prayed for you all to have patience, guidance and endurance during these times.

AFM, AF is here and I go in tomorrow for my baseline before I start stims. I guess this would put my ER and ET at the beginning of Sept. I guess I'll be moving to another board again. I pray that I'm able to start as scheduled without issues.

Hello Girls!

Congrats to all the new BFP and twin news!

I had my ER yesterday. Dont remember a thing but was really sore afterwords around the middle. Still feeling sore even today so I am taking it easy and working from home. They got 12 eggs, but we knew only 5 of them were considered "Mature". They were going to fertilize all 12 just in case. Got the call this morning and 5 fertilized, so that is better than what I was expecting. Go back Sat. for 3 day transfer..will see then how the cell division goes and how good they look. Hoping for more positve news.

DH told me last night when I was in recovery I asked him 5 times how many eggs they got

faith77- HEY!! How are you? I see you're expecting twins?! That is so wonderful. Have you been feeling ok? Do you know the sexes yet? Thanks for the prayers. I will take as many as I can!

cressicaw- Now that was rude of the nurse! They know we're suffering as it is and they're just out to deflate our bubble. I spoke to my nurse and she said if I take a hpt the night before, make sure it's a good one, and it will be accurate. So for safe measure I will take another tonight becuase I have my beta at 8:30 a.m. But I'm totally symptomatic so I trust that I am truly pregnant. Let's keep our fingers crossed

I have had quite the morning....At 9AM I went to do my endometrin inserts and there was bright red blood when I wiped. There was no clotting and I was not cramping. I immediately freak out and call my IVF nurses and left messages. In the meantime I am balling in front of my coworkers and supervisor. My nurses called me back w/in 15 minutes and told me to come in for a scan to see what was going on. My first official scan was scheduled for August 25. My husband picked me up from work and we rushed to the doctor's office. By the time I got there the bleeding had stopped. They did the scan anyway and to my wonderful surprise everything was ok. I was sobbing on the table and couldn't keep my legs from shaking. What's even more exciting is that IT'S TWINS! They both measured at 6 weeks 2 days and we saw both heartbeats. My doctor didn't see anything wrong that would have caused the bleeding other than a small area of blood behind one of the placentas, but she wasn't really concerned about it. However, we were not on the regular u/s machine. We were on the one used for the embryo transfer. I did another pregnancy test to check HCG evels and will go back again on Tuesday for the first official scan. I'm not freaking out yet or even really excited. I'm just happy everything is fine. I don't think I'll be officially excited until I get further along or maybe not even until one or both of them make it through. I was so scared ladies......

Cressicaw: I definatly think that could be a "positive positive" I don't really think it's too early. You're 14 days post retrieval correct? That is when most of us have our beta's done.

MaryMegan: How scary/exciting!!! I would have been sobbing too, but you got great news out of it!!! I'm so glad you saw both heartbeats!! I have just seen one, but I was told not to worry (YEAH RIGHT!) That it was really surprising to see the one I saw. I bet you're over the moon!! Hope all remains well. Congrats on your two healthy babies.

Sportsmom: Doing the beta dance, but I bet you're doing just fine without it

Iamhopeful: I'll be praying for your 5 little embies to GROW GROW GROW!

Johannanita: Good luck with your baseline. Hope everything is right on course for you.

Amandamae: What was your beta? I hope you get the news you want at your ultrasound. I think that part almost feels longer than the 2ww. I had my beta and then they sced. my u/s for two weeks and I was more anxious about it. Now that we've seen one heartbeat and not the other yet I'm going to b positivly crazy until my next one on the 31st! Good luck!

I'm praying for you all. I have to stop and do it in the middle of the day, because when I wait until night I fall asleep before I finish I think that's the biggest pregnancy symptom I have: Falling asleep all the time- no matter where I am or what I'm doing. You're all in the prayers and in my thoughts.
