For those of you having twins, do you plan on having them sleep together or separate? Are you buying 2 cribs right away or waiting? Are you going to purchase separate bassinets? Looking for some advice.
We are planning on purchasing two separate cribs since they will eventually need them so might as well get them early. My friend actually recommended that we not go with bassinets at all and just use the cribs. So that's what we will do but Im curious what everyone else thinks about this.
We are planning on purchasing two cribs as well. I plan on having them sleep together at first and move them to separate cribs as they get bigger. I probably won't get any bassinets.

We are planning to get the two cribs, like others say, they will need them eventually. Initially though we plan to have them sleep together in one of the Pack 'n Plays next to the bed. Some of the Pack 'n Plays actually come with the bassinets on top. Figured we'd get more use out of that in the long run than with a regular bassinet.

Well we are at the 31 week mark and plan on our twins sleeping in the pack and play bassinet combination during the day together and in their own cribs at night. They are both girls so they are sharing a room. Like most you of you we figured that they would need their own cribs eventually so it made sense to go ahead and get them together now.
I hope this helps. Also, I am a member of our local chapter of the Moms of Multiples and based on the input of several of the experienced moms of twins, they suggest the two cribs from the beginning.
