Nicole79 this 5 day rest isnt all its cracked to be to be honest i didnt think my embies would survive the thaw so i wasnt really prepared and j said he wasnt really prepared to do all the housework either

Sportsmum great beta, so happy for you. Did you feel any different on fet?? I am only on day 2 and trying to analyse everthing feel bit crampy but assuming thats the progesterone as still very early days!!

we're getting there, lining a 9 and follicles ranging from 9-14!! RE says both ovaries are busy!! I'll take that to be good, back and sides are beginning to hurt. ER Thu or Fri!!!

hey ladies - just a quick one as we've just got back from a weekend in Cardiff seeing U2 do their final show of the European leg of their tour (thanks to my gorgeous dh!!), but am shattered now - could sleep for Britain!

Michele - could you please update me to a bfp on the board pls - no rush (as i am convinced you are the busiest woman on the planet!!)

Also, i wanted to ask all the girls out there if any of you have experienced stomach muscle pains - almost like you have done about 1000 sit ups, at this stage (i am 3 weeks post ET)? Is this normal?

HI all.

I just got my fertilization report. Of the 14 eggs retrived, all 14 were mature, and 6 were fertilzed and developing as of this morning! Yea. Iw as kind of bummed that more didn't make it, but as you ladies always say, it only takes one! So now I just have to wait till tomorrow to find out if it'll be a 3 or 5 day transfer. It's very odd that our little ones are enjoying their first day of life in a lab. Hopefully at least two will make it inside!

Thats great. I also had 6 that fertilized and transferred 2 day 3 embies. I couldnt wait to get them transferred. It is weird to have them start life outside of the body . Im on my 2ww and pray they snuggled in tight. GL with ET, all will go well.

I told j that we wont have to tell our child (please god there will be one!!) that they wont need to be told about the birds and the bees or imaging mummy and daddy "doing" it to make them as it never happened - god bless the person who invented the miracle of ivf. Plus i have kept all my receipts from our 6 attempts and will give "it" as a bill on their 21st

Helengb i heard U2's concert was fantastic, their opening show in Dublin went down a storm, those stomach sensations are normal as its your uterus stretching enjoy every moment of your pg, when is your scan??

Hi Gi - yeah it really was an awesome - its the second time ive seen them live and they really know how to put on a show! The atmosphere in Cardiff before and after the was fab too (very sober though!) - dh was funny as he threatened to tie me to the seat in the show as i tend to turn into a mexican jumping bean at concerts! i was too scared to jump anyway in case i caused something to go wrong My scan is on the 8th September - im hoping i'll feel more positive after that about it all - we're still too scared to believe it truly is positive yet!

I had the ET on Sat. morning and it was no big deal at all, took all of 5 minutes maybe less and we have three 8 cell grade 3 embryos tucked inside. The other 2 were 5 cells and they were going to let them grow until today and if they make it ...freeze.

I have been taking it easy, not sleeping very well at night I keep waking up thinking I am squishing them or laying wrong...even though I know that is silly...I can't help it.

lisa10 - sounds like your a BFP! Praying the beta comes back nice and strong for you today...keep us all posted.

Faith- the ET was a breeze you'll do great!

Iamhopefull-I hope your 2ww is restfull as can be.

I just got the call from my nurse. All 6 Embies are doing well. I'm all set for a day 5 transfer on Thursday. I'm so excited to have gotten this far. Everything goes so much faster after the ER!
I'm leaving on a week and 1/2 vacation to Minnesota on Friday with DH and the stepkids. I'm from there and will be staying with my family. I'm so looking forward to the relaxation and being surrounded by friends for my 2ww.

Hey ladies,
Just got by results back from my progesterone and it is 22.2. My dr said they want to see if over 15 so I guess im ok. Trying to take it easy during this 2ww. 1 more wk until my preg test. I cant wait.

I dont want to sound crazy but Im having the craziest dreams almost everynight. Could this mean anything and has any1 else experienced that before?

Also on the day I do my preg test is that the same day they give me my 1st beta?

Faith:that is great they are doing so well. GL on thurs. Im so jealous I wish i was going on a mini vacation. Enjoy yourself and relax. Your 2ww will fly by.

Iamhopeful:I hope those embies snuggling in tight. I think the same thing, that if I lay on my stomach im going to smoosh them, so I lay on my side with a pillow in between my legs.

Just got a call that our other 2 embies did not make it to day 5 so we have none to freeze. But hey that is okay because I am not going to need them PMA, PMA, PMA!!!

Faith - How nice you are getting away for your two week wait. I believe with the 5 day trasfer it is even less than 2 weeks. Time will just fly by! Enjoy some visiting with friends and family and relax.

Hey, It looks like a BFP for me!!!! Beta from yesterday was 90. I retest tomorrow and hope it doubles! My progesterone was a little low - 18 so they are having me take it orally as well as the suppositories and PIO shots. Same thing happened with the cycle that produced DS so I guess it is just how my body responds. I'm so excited!
