2ww starting 8/21- anyone else?

Gi: Dont feel bad I had some emotional break downs also but trying to keep that PMA. Haha, im glad J gave you the hot cocoa and not the wine. I have cheated and tested of course its negative b/c im on day 5 but I was so tempted. But Im not upset b/c I kept telling myself its waaaay to early but had to just satisfy myself by POAS. We can get through this together girly. Keep that PMA or I will have to come get ya.

Im just a little bloated. The RE just said to watch for bleeding like AF and a high fever and I havent had either so Im praying its all good. Its been alot and long road for you but we have to stay positive. We will get our BFP's togther.

You are a poas addict!!! Way too early girl though i understand how you feel i just cant wait till i start as i need to prepare my mind!!! Think i will start on sat which is 9dp3dt i dont have work on wkends so should be able to cope with bfn though fingers crossed we get our BFP's!!!!! See you watched the track and field did you see the ladies 1500m where the spainish got disqualified that poor Burka she coulda easily won gold. What am i going to watch now its all over???? though i am back to work on thurs so will be distracted ......yeah right as if you can forget that you may have some babies growing inside

Right off to get a shower and watch BB uk - will light a candle tomorrow for all you ladies

Gi: haha, maybe J did slip something into that drink, you better watch him next time.I admit I am a POAS addict but DH said NO MORE, so maybe on day 9 or 10. That was sooo sad about the track and field, Burka was tasting that gold medal. I believe she would have won. And the woman 4x400m that Sanya Richards is something else, shes great. Im going to be bored also and back to my reality shows. Talk with you later and keep that PMA going.

Hi all!

This emotional rollercoaster is the worst! The wondering, the waiting and just trying to for one second get lost in something other than thinking about that a very microscopic little life or lives is hopefully clinging on to you- the track and field you gals are watching, reality shows, for me HGTV shows and now I started a good book...just once in a while I do forget but it seems to be brief. And then the days- they go about as slow as possible...this is a cruel thing we have to live through! And in reality, when you think about it- 2 weeks is like nothing and yet like an eternity at the same time...ughhh.....

Hope you all are doing good today...I think all our prayers and thoughts for each other are going to make a difference.

Ladybug- Hope your appt goes good tomorrow- do they just check your progesterone once before your beta test? Good luck and let us know how it goes.

Gi- Is your PMA officially back? Sorry you felt so bad earlier... So in Ireland they don't check betas? What do they do- have you POAS instead?

Tryn4#2- How are you doing today? What is the date of your beta?

Hey Laura,
I know it is an emotional rollercoaster and the days couldn't go any slower. When we dont want the time to go by fast it flies and now we want it to go by fast and its going by so slow. I wonder are my babies really snuggling in, are they growing? Millions of questions run through my mind and worries. So I feel exactly what you feel. Every little gas bubble or weird movement im thinking is that a BFP sign or not. I just cant wait until I get my results so I can be at ease and want my baby(s) in my arms then I will be satisfied. I pray we get the strength to take it easy and not stress because us thinking alot is also stressful so we have to try and think positive and stay occupied. We will get through this. We can do it, thats what we are all here for.

Just got my progesterone results and its 22.2 and the RE said he likes to see 15 or higher. So im in good shape. Just keeping you all posted.

ladybug your progesterone levels sound great pity they dont do those here you are left on your own after ET.

laura yeah thanks feeling much better now i guess its the hormones, we just test ourselves here after 16 days which is a pity as a beta level can show you if its a good pregnancy plus i would like to have progesterone levels ckd.

So are any of ye ladies getting any symptoms yet??? Day 4 for me and starting to feel bit crampy just praying its my little baby/ies snuggling in, i had lots of cramps on all my cycles even the bfp so not worried yet unless i get spotting as on all my bfn i started to spot around day 10 so if i can just hang in.

laura__ My beta test will be 9/3.

I can't wait. I am sure I will cheat and POAS before then. I did with my first IVF cycle (2 days before) and it was positive. For some reason my doctors checks my beta level later than most clinics. I have to wait 2 weeks after my ET (some do 2 weeks after ER I think).

No symptoms yet!! I'm guessing my little embies should be implanting midweek.... I was told that they implant 5 - 7 days after transfer. Is that correct??

Tryn4#2- Your beta is the day after mine- I am trying to plan not to cheat but we'll see. I think that is when they implant. Isn't that the worst to know that they might or might not implant and the exact days too- to make it all the harder. So far, I feel bloated and sore at times and cramps at times- but unfortunately I know that all those things can happen from the PIO...ughh....

Gi- Figuring out the symptoms is so hard...did you get spotting with FETs too? That's so hard that you have to wait and test yourself- the good part is that you don't have to wait for a dreaded phone call.

Ladybug- That's great that your progesterone is in the right range- like, you said, you're in good shape. How are you feeling?

So today I tried to do a little bit more and I got really sore and more bloated so now I'm laying on the couch for a bit. Take care all, Laura

Laura: I feel very bloated right now and my stomach feels tight. Ive been cramping a little bit so I hope its nothing serious. It's weird at nights I feel a little nauseated so I hope thats a good sign.

Tryn4#2: I have to wait 2wks after my ET also to get my test results. My clinic told me they embies should be implanting within 2 days after ET but I guess every place is diff. I pray your embies are snuggled in.

Gi: Wow you have to wait 16 days? I pray its a BFP. Im a bit crampy and nauseated at nights and very bloated. I hope those are all good things. Snuggle in embies.

Well I made it this whole cycle without joining these forums. No offense of course but during my last cycle I was constantly on and it drove me nuts analyzing my symptoms and constantly comparing!!! Im still constantly checking this time just was trying to distance myself-no such luck as I am going nuts. We transferred 4 embryos on Fri 8/21 (2 8 cell grade 1 (excellent), 1 6 cell grade 1, and 1 5 cell grade 1.5) No other remaining embieswe had 7 fertilize.. We did day 3 transfer for the 1st time. On our last 2 cycles, 1 was a day 6 transfer and only 1 embryo survived til then BFN & last Dec we did day 5 transfer (1 fair cell blast & 2 early blast) BFP that ended in ectopic.

Beta test is 8/31/09 and I am going nuts. Part of me is thinking this def worked and then the next minute I am thinking it def did not. Then I beat myself up that I am not being positive enough. Last time had no sypmptoms and with both previous cycles started spotting heavily around Day 10 so I was pretty shocked last time when I got BFP. It was honestly the most amazing thing even though it was short lived. Ijust want this so bad as I am sure each and every single woman on here does. Its so hard because 3 of my friends just announced they are pregnant and it is so difficult and painful. I am praying and hoping each and every moment that this works for all of us.

So just wanted to let you ladies know I am pulling my hair out just like you during this 2 ww and I will be praying for all of you and ask that you do the same.

Jandc- I also thought about not getting on these forums but it's hard not to cuz you feel like living through it yourself is impossible...it's so nice to chat with other women who know how you feel. Usually our dhs try to be supportive but they are not the ones trying to analyze every single twinge of their body like we have to. So sorry for all you've been through. I really pray for you that one or more of those little embies stays for the long run. Isn't it just impossible how we feel so sure it worked one second and then so sure it didn't the next- oh the mind games we play- all of us!! And there's not a doubt that it sucks to see other women get pregnant so easily and have to put on a fake front. I have always tried to have the attitude that if all couples had to go through what we all do to have kids, how sad would that be so I guess I'm actually a little happy that some people can get prego more easily. All my best to you- glad to have you join us to support each other through this wait.

dtao- What day transfer did you have? 8 days does seem early for a beta. If that is really your beta, you might not want to hpt till maybe a day before that. Hope you are feeling good after your transfer?

jandc welcome the more the merrier, sorry to hear about your previous losses i have had one but still will never forget the shock of seeing a bfp - thats what is keeping me going. I know its hard not comparing yourself to others but we all know that everybody is different. One min i think yes i am def preg then next i am not when in reality i am only on day 5 too early to tell.

dtao also a big welcome to you too. Sounds very early for a beta esp if it was a 3day transfer you may not pick up a + on a pregnancy test so prob should wait till beta.

laura i have only had 1 fet and that was a natural transfer - no meds so i started spotting after 1 wk but with all my bfns i spot so i will take that as an indicator this time if it happens its a negative.

Nothing major happening yet but fingers crossed they are implanting around now!!! I am going to light a candle for all of us tonight that we get our bfps very very shortly!!

Anybody going to cheat and poas early???? I will as we dont do blood tests here so may as well prepare myself for a bfn early but please god i get the shock of my life

Gi- Thanks for lighting a candle for everyone! I'm planning not to poas but the bad part is that I happen to know that I have one extra test hanging around from our last FET when I did cheat and got a bfn. So I think since I didn't cheat with the cycle where I had my ds and I did cheat and it was a bfn- I'm going to go with the better luck of not cheating...for now... Aren't the mind games we play with ourselves the worst??!! Gi, when will you poas- what day?

Today I have been back and forth all day between positive and negative thoughts. One minute I'll analyze that I am less or more bloated than yesterday and that it means something good or bad- if only the clock could just move forward to next week!
