Hi everyone -

I hope that you all had a good weekend! We had really heavy rain here all weekend ( guess that what passed for a tornado watch!) So both extra large dogs have been cooped up inside & acting crazy. Nothing like two dogs tearing through the house at top speed! I guess its practice for kids anyway, he he.

j&c - Glad to hear that its not just me, usually bcp are only 2 weeks for me, but this time its 4 weeks, oh, lucky me! hope that you are holding up ok!

Dtao - Good luck with your ET today! 5 fert is great!

turtle - happy to hear that your shots went alright, once you get going with them, there are really no big deal :D

mjay - Holy moly! 18 fert! wow! you should have a nice amount to go to snowbabies! YAY for doing your own PIO! I do mine myself also mostly. DH schedule is very long sometimes so I had to learn, then realized it hurts less when I did them myself! GL with your ET on Wed!

cheryl - Grow those follies!, I'm on the antagonist protocol too, wishing both of us 40 yr olds luck!! :D

wolffie - How is school going so far?

cheeky - how are things going for you?

karling - thanks! Yay for AF now you are on your way! You arent far behind everyone, you are way ahead of the Oct girls! Wait til we get a little closer people tend to turn up in droves! When will you get your schedule? I had to sit through an IVF class (one on one with the nurse, even though I'm a nurse too ) to understand the med schedule & mixing procedures, if they dont have you scheduled for that, you should ask the nurse for a lesson. Feeling more confident with the meds will make this all easier for you!

michele - Hope your party went great & didnt rain in Ct. wishing you a low E2!

shelby - how are things going for you? Are the boys still interested in helping with inj? Thanks for asking if I feel better :D I believe that I'm just stressed about this working this time, keep in mind that we are now have been out of pocket for 3 cycles this year! Yikes! I kind of have the mindset of this is the last time for me! I'm afraid that if I dont make it to ER this time, that my RE will want to have the donor egg conversation, and my DH doesnt want to hear it! So PMA PMA (if you say it enough it makes it true! :D )

Hugs & prayers to us all!! xoxo

Katie - I am a nurse as well, but I have focused on Cardiac for most of my career. I've never cared much for the endo part and now I wish I did! he..he..
The kids are still giving me the injections. I tell them, 'It's time for my shot" and ask if they are going to do it and I always get a yes. They are doing great! I start stims on 9/5 and I am going to show them how to do the Follistim pen too. They'll get a kick out of that.

happy monday ladies!!

i just want to wish dtao good luck on the ET today. i'll be praying for those embies to stick.

karling: have no idea why it took me so long to come around. maybe i didn't get enough sleep. for the PIO shots, i used a mirror as a guide, but i just twisted my body around and did it. i have no soreness at all today.

shelby: IMHO= In my humble opinion. DH refuses to have anything to do with needles so my mother is the one giving me the shots. but i have a few conferences coming up so i'll need to do them myself WHEN, not if, i get my BFP.

hi everyone!
I just wanted to take a minute to say how wonderful you all are! its really amazing how much support is on this board!! Because this is my first go-round with IVF or any fertility treatments i really dont have a clue what i'm in for. I wish i had advice for the rest of you, but i wanted to let you all know how much i am thinking of you all and cheering us all on, and to thank you all for your advice and encouragement!

shelbyrn0214- you are amazing! thank you for everything you are doing on these boards to keep us all up to date...its soooo sweet of you to do that for all of us and i love it!

ok..so now i have another question...tomorrow is my last day of BCP, but i woke up today feeling like i was starting AF. my nurse said i should get my period 3-5 days after ending BCP's, so if i get it earlier then that do you think that will be a problem? my cycle is always exactly 28 days and if i get it today or tomorrow it will be SUPER early. i'm confused....
(shocking i know!!) haha

Good Morning Ladies....

DTAO... I am sorry that u had a very bad experience with ER. Hope u r feeling better now. Also, GL today with your ET. U will be officially PUPO!!!!! The first on the Board. Yipee!!! So now the dreaded 2WW. I hope u get your BFP hun.

Mjay... 26 eggs ; 18 fertilized  wow!!! Sorry uy also had bad experience, but try to relax and prepare yourself for you ET on Wednesday. So congrats on giving yourself the POI... its not so bad after all huh? :) I recall having alot of gas after ER...lots of it. I guess cuz they open up your cervix alot of air may go in. SO now the air needs to be released... So why would they freeze the whole cycle? If u r still in pain on Wednesday? Did they say why?

Karling... Yipee on starting BCPs... Dont worry if u r just starting BCPs, we all end up on the same boat. YW on the OHSS lecture... Im confused or maybe not... What is a "baby in a box"? I am doing an FET, as a matter of fact, I just got my AF yesterday so now I am waiting for my RE to call me to tell me what to do next. If they Mimic a natural cycle, then most likely I will be doing FET in 2 weeks.

shelby..... I still have the virus. It hasnt been cleaned out cuz my DH is too lazy top back his music up, and I am not going to push him. So I just wait to go to work so I can use work time to do my personals... lol. I have to give u a high five having your kids do your shots. My daughter is to chicken, but then again my DH tells me not to even give myself my shots in front of her. I kind of see his point. SO when I do, I sneak away into the bathroom.

AFM... I got my AF yesterday. Yipee!!!! Actually it was a full flow yesterday but today it is more like spotting. :? But I guess I should consider it my AF anyway? Anyway I called the RE this morning, I am just waiting to hear froim her so she can tell me what to do next. If I am assuming right, FET should be in about 2 weeks right? Since they normally mimic a natural cycle. Other than that, I just wait.
I am 32 yrs / DH is 34
PCOS/1 tube/ DH low sperm count
1st IVF cycle... Nov 2008 = BFN
2nd IVF cycle...Feb 2009 = BFN
FET... Sept. 2009 = BFN

Hi girls...sorry no time for personal, my house is still a disaster from the aftermath of Ella's big party...it is like a toy store exploded in here! The party went great, the weather was gorgeous for a luau in the park. I will get pics up soon on my shutterfly page (which is listed in my signature) but for now, here is a youtube video of her eating her cake, for those who wanted to see.

I also got good clinic news today. My e2 was 46! Finally below 50. I am going for u/s in the morning and as long as that looks fine, I should start estrace tomorrow and be on track for a sept transfer...most likely the 3rd week of september. When I left the bw place this morning, I said to the lady, well, I will probably see you next week...me and her have become friends over the past 2 months, but now I guess I won't see her next week after all.

Ok, I promise I will try and catch up with everyone soon.

Michele - INCREDIBLE! Alright! I think we will having our transfers on the same week! I'm so happy for you! We can do it!!!!!

Lady J - Yeah, when the boys give me the shots, they hurt less than when I give them to myself. I guess it's a mental thing. I told the youngest this evening about the Follistim pen and how that one would be different. His statement was, "Oh, I'm doing that one!" he..he.. They are so cute!

Hope Dtao had a good day!

Well, gotta go cook enchiladas. Catch ya'll later.

Hello all!!

I'm feeling pretty good today, but my poor DH told me that I was being a porcupine yesterday. He said - I'll be glad when this is all over. I then reminded him (like he needed to be reminded) that we haven't even started the shots yet. LOL.

I'm LOVING the PMA here. Keep it up!!!

dtao - Here's hoping your transfer went great today! :D

mjay - Kudos on giving yourself the PIO shot. I consider that a HUGE feat.

karling - I get massages pretty frequently, but I just always get the basic swedish massage. I've always wanted to get a stone massage. I've heard they're wonderful.
