Fitz- you are coming along! Let us know what the word is on the trigger!

mjay- are you excited about your transfer tomorrow? I'm sure it's going to go great! I'll be thinking of you!

ladybug- I saw on the other board that you POAS early. Have you tried since then? I only have a 9 day wait, but I don't think I could make it that long. Since i'll be at work when the results come in that day, I may test the night before to brace myself!

AFM- Just laying here keeping up the PMA! 8 more days to go!

Fitz - No hatching for me, I was Day 5T so that's probably why. You sound like you are coming along just right, all good news.

Ladybug - I know what you mean! The more days that go by, the more I can't seem to think about anything else. I did a HPT the day of the transfer to see if the trigger HcG had cleared my system, and it was negative, so any +'s we see from here on out should mean a great result! I am not working either, I'm starting school again soon so I'm alone with my thoughts which is not a good thing! My boobs and nipples are so sore it's like my DH can't even hug me anymore and I have cramping like pre-menstrual, but my nurse says that is a side effect of the progesterone.

JG - Beta after 9 days? I'm SO jealous. You must be so exicted to finally have the little ones in you!

MJay - Try to say patient on waiting to be told about the transfer day. My dr's told me no less than 4 different days at different times, and i rememer being v. frustrated.

As for me -- We got the embryo. report on freezing and they only were able to freeze 3! I was gutted that it was so few. We got 12 fertilised eggs and only transferred 1. Ah well. At the clinic we use, they let the embryos grow til day 8 or 9 before freezing. Hopefully 3 will be enough for one FET. I'm at Day 6 pt and I'm going to test on day 10 - just four more days.

Stay positive girls!!

hopeful- same news here. 3 embies made it to freeze after day 6 for me. I was a little disappointed too, but then I thought about it and here's why I think we'll be okay. Embies that make it that far are doing really well. They say only about 20% make it to blast and your chances of getting pregnant with a 5 day or more are higher than a 3 day, so even though there's less embryos, the quality of them must be really good if they made it that far! I also read somewhere on this board that frozen day 6 transfers are pretty successful and sometimes more successful than fresh! I'm praying that we both get BFP's this cycle, but if for some reason it doesn't work out, at least we know we've got some more opportunities! Hang in there and try not to worry about it right now because what's done is done and we can't change it and we might be pregnant right now!!!
I didn't think to take an HPT the day of transfer, but that's a great idea!

mjay- how was the transfer? How are you doing today? Hopefully you're resting and taking it easy.

Fitz- tomorrow's the big day! I'm very excited for you, I know you'll do great and have great news for us!

ladybug- how's the 2ww going? Have you POAS anymore? I'm only 3dp5dt and it's taking everything I have not to go out and buy one. If I had them at home already, i'd have used them (probably at day 1 :-))

dtao- You still hanging in there? How's it going for you?

AFM- Back at work today. I was pretty restless yesterday and i'm glad to be of use to someone besides my dogs :-). I have a wedding tomorrow and I start class tomorrow night. Good thing they're both in the same town, I can go right from the wedding to my class and then get to the reception at the very end. It should be interesting wearing a dress to class though :-). 3dp5dt, we're getting there....

Hanging in there. Starting to feel almost back to normal. The crazy part is the hunger. Any of you experience that? I was told the Medrol would make me hungry, but this is insane, like 0 to 60 in minutes.

I've also had a lot to keep me occupied. Had a grueling job interview today, will find out if I make it to Round Two tomorrow. School starts on Monday, so there's all that as well. So I'd say I'm keeping busy.

Still, waiting is not easy. I've read posts on here that say DO NOT take HPT, chance of chemical and all that. But I'm leaning towards doing it... what does everyone think?

hey all! i'm hanging in there during the 2ww. so far i'm at day 2 and trying to stay positive. the first day i had some mild cramps, but now nothing. i know it's way too soon for any kind of feeling, but i'm so anxious to know what's going on in there.

dtao- i get that hungry feeling too! sometimes, i feel like i'm going to faint if i don't eat immediately. my stomach is still super huge. is yours? i can see where it's getting smaller, but it's taking so long. so far, 2 people have asked me if i am expecting...how embarassing! if i am, they are going to think i lied to them.

dtao- I know what you mean. It would be so hard to go through a chemical pregnancy after all of this. I do think i'm going to test though, I just don't have the patience to wait. Plus, I'll get my results in the middle of the workday and i'd like to be a little bit prepared. The hunger part is normal from what i've heard with the Medrol, but for me, I have actually had a loss of appetite since the retrieval, which I will attribute to the anesthesia. When I had my tonsils out in back high school, it took me awhile to get my appetite back too.

fitz- that's so great! I'm sure those eggs will fertilize like crazy! Are they doing ICSI?

Hope you all have a great weekend!

Tomorrow is the big day! I'm gonna POAS on Sunday morning. I don't feel pregnant - so I'm thinking it might be negative. Wish us luck! I'll let you know how it goes.

Hi there ladies, sorry I have not been on here for a week. I took the week off work and had all my procedures done. I had my retrieval on monday. They got 24 eggs and 21 were mature. Out of the 21, 14 fertilized. Of the 14, 12 were said to be the best you can get and the other 2 were still pretty good. We had a 5 day transfer so two were transferred this morning. It was so surreal. The doctor was very happy for us and made us sign a consent form making sure that we were aware of the increase risk of twins due to the excellent quality of our embies. My husband was taken a little back by this. I think the reality is setting in.. Well it is bed rest for the today and tomorrow and then back to work.... I was really enjoying my time off.

I want to let all of you know that I am really happy for all of you and hope we all get our BFP's this time... Take care... And congrads on all the positive egg numbers and quality... These are all great signs!!!

JG_379: Hey, I poas a few times on 9dp3dt and got positives on all of them. I started to spot a little today so im going in tomorrow for my preg test. Hope all goes well. Hows your 2ww going? I pray we all get our BFP.

Mjay: im 11 days post transferred and still feel bloated and a tight feeling in my stomach and pulling. Some cramping also. I hope we get our BFP. Hang in there.

Hopeful: Keep that PMA. Im sure you will be fine. I had slight spotting so im actually going in tomorrow also to get my results. GL, Hope we get what weve been wanting to hear.

Miner: Congrats on joining the 2ww. I also had 2 embies transferred and my RE told me about the risks also. When you go back to work your time will fly so dont worry.

AFM: I spotted a little today and freaked out. I called the dr and they said to come in tomorrow for beta instead of mon. They said its most likely normal and the embies jsut digging into my uterus. I pray all is well. Baby dust to all and PMA, praying for us all.
