Evening girls,

I really need some cheering upmy PMA has disappeared again and i feel sooo sad  just back from the loo and had some brown spotting (TMI time ) its was mixed in with clear stretchy mucus like ovualtion mucus and now i have lots of AF cramps. I am day 6p3dt and feel like its a bust - all my bfns i started spotting around day 8 on my bfp no spotting at all. I have some pulling/sore stomach muscle sensations but now i think it must be in my head, yesterday and this am i was convined i was pg but now i feel its all over.

gi - Aww - honey, hang in there. you know that brown spotting is a good sign, as is the pulling sensations in your stomach. I know how hard this is. Just please keep in mind that you are brimming with hormones right now, its totally normal to feel like this. It stinks, but the uncertain feelings are just part of the nasty 2ww. I'll keep you in my prayers, I'm rooting for you, gi. ((((big hugs))))

gi - Don't give up! I have been there - six times - and I know exactly how you feel. Your body is totally freaking out and making you feel crazy. Take a deep breath and try to regain your PMA. (((hugs)))

So I got my second beta - 285 - which means it tripled. I don't have to go back for anymore blood tests and my u/s is scheduled for Sept. 10. I am very excited and anxious to see a little heartbeat!

Sorry for the downer...but I got my second beta results today and it was a chemical pregnancy. My HCG level dropped from 18 to 3. My progesterone went up well though since I doubled what I had been taking, but it wasn't enough.
Thank you all for your prayers and support through this process and wait. This site is a great support. We will try for a FET within a month or 2. I meet with the RE a week from today.

I wish all you on your 2ww success and congrats to all the BFP's this month.

My word of advice is that no matter how hard it is to wait, don't take a HPT. I figured the worst case was I would get a negative and wait a few days and try again since it may be too early. I figured getting a negative would help prepare me for the negative with the beta. I also figured if it was positive, then I was going to have a baby. A chemical pregnancy didn't even enter my mind as a possibility. I think that was the worst part. Having 3 days of thinking we were having a baby and then finding out it was not going to last. It would have been better just getting the beta results on the day I was due. Although they would have said it was positive but likely a chemical, I wouldn't have had the expectation that all was going to be alright. Even the nurse on the day of my beta asked if I had tested and discussed when my ultrasound would be and stuff like that. I even said, if it's positive on a HPT then it's going to be positive beta right and she said yes. I don't want to be a drag, but I really recommend waiting. 3 more days of waiting would have been so much better then this roller coaster ride.

Hi Gi,

I'm sorry to read your post but as you told me a couple of weeks ago, keep your head up!! You're PUPO. :) I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

I've just returned from vacation and had my second BETA today which was 2276 (from 179). My doc said it was pretty high so I'll need to return tomorrow for a sonogram.

Has any else had a high 2nd Beta? (taking into consideration my first beta was exactly a week ago)

Gi: I completely ditto what Katie wrote. Brown spotting is very normal and so is all that pulling. I still get those now even after my BFP. So please do not give up and hang in there till u're beta. Saying lots of prayers for u. In my books u are PUPO!

Lisa: I am so sorry to hear u're news. I know how devastating this is but am also glad that u are looking ahead already to the next cycle. As i have been told try, try, till u succeed. It will happen!

Sending both of u tons of hugs.

Gecko: again congrats! yippee for that awesome beta.

mlorfei: congrats to u too. I had high betas as well but found out it was a singleton. But u never know. good luck with the sono.

Just got bak from my ER . . .
11 eggs! :D

Last time we had 9 and 7 of those fertilized . . .
hope we get similar results this time!

P.S. Lisa, I'm so sorry for your news. I agree 100% with you about HPT's. I recommend not doing them and I'm not going to this cycle.

So...I have an official transfer date! YAY! Next tuesday 9/1 I'll go in for my ET. This might all end someday! Get to start my PIO shots tonight - ugh - but it's a step forward.

lisa - I am so sorry to hear your news. It's the worst to have your hopes up and then have to start over. But it's good you have a plan to move forward. That's all we can do...I just keep telling myself this all can't kill me, right? Doesn't even really make things worse...just keeps them the same unless it's positive...Big hugs to you!

gi- keep those spirits up! Hormones are the worst! Nothing is determined until that test! I'm prayin for you!

lisa - honey, I am so sorry. I don't know what else to say and wish I could change the outcome for you. Know that I am giving you a bug hug from afar and am praying for you. Remember - a delay isn't a no. (((hugs)))

gecko - yay for you!!!

gi - keep hanging in there. The 2ww SUCKS!!! I have to side with lisa on this one: don't take an HPT. I didn't either and don't regret it for a second. And, like others said, brown spotting is SO normal. I had it with my current BFP.

mlorfei - those numbers sound right on target for a week apart. That's not a "high" beta as far as being abnormal. It's exactly what it should be with a 7 day lapse.

fitzjr - YAY for triggering!!! Keep us posted on how it all goes.

deftsonemo - Congrats on your 11 eggs, that's wonderful!!!!

Nicole - the end is indeed in sight for you!!! Wishing you a perfect journey with your ET!

AFM - I have my next sono tomorrow, and my panic has subsided. Doing MUCH better in that area but am still a bit nervous to see that everything is ok. :D

lisa10: So sorry to read about your news. I have had 2 chemical pregnancies within this past year and I was devastated with both b/c I too took HPT's only to receive the let down after the betas. I have vowed not to ever use an HPT again. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

defttonesmo: I too was in the ER this morning and they retrieved 11 eggs. I have to call the lab tomorrow afternoon to find out when my transfer day is. When is yours?

fkm7783: My ET will either be on Saturday or Monday . . . I'm hoping Monday! Last time, my little guys started to fragment and we had to do a 3-day transfer with no success . . . I'm hoping that between acupuncture and growth hormone, we'll have better luck =)

Congrats on your 11 little guys . . . I think there's a lady on the Sept/Pct thread that her ER today and she got 11 as well! Must be something in the air . . . Keep me posted :)
