Started BCP and throwing up all afternoon...

I'm usually pretty tolerant to meds... but for this cycle the BCP is making me so sick.... I took my first one last night after dinner...and this morning I felt a bit queasy. Around 12:30pm I started feeling the warm wave and I've been running to the bathroom ever since...

I took Necon 1/35 which is a generic of Ortho Novum...has anyone else taken this and gotten sick too?

I hate being sick.

Have you ever taken the regular orthonovum because sometimes the generic of some meds can actually have a much different effect for some people than taking the regular version. Maybe you should ask your RE for a different bcp so you're not miserable- hope you are feeling better soon.

A friend of mine got sick from BCP's. The DR said there are so many you just have to keep trying until you find one that is right for you. I wonder if it's not the pills if you are hot. Maybe it's the flu and it just happens to be now.

Thank goodness I stopped throwing up but I still feel queasy...I think I can bear it for another several days...
