My name is Christine. I am 37 and am going through my 3rd IVF cycle right now.
I have a 5 year old son with Autism who was conceived naturally.
2 years ago I had fibroid surgery to remove a very large benign tumor which left me with scar tissue and blocked tubes.
I'm looking to talk to anyone else out there that has a child on the Autism spectrum and wants to expand their family. There are so many fears and emotions beyond the normal IVF trials and tribulations that we face and it would be nice to talk to someone else dealing with these complex issues.

I am new here in the site and browsing for postings to learn more. I have a 9 y/o nephew w/ Autism, and a niece who will turn 4 this Dec. It took my sister 5 years to have her 2nd child because she was so afraid as they said the incidence for siblings is high. But my niece does not have Autism and learning to help her brother in her little ways. AFM, i am trying to get pregnant and joined the cycle ladies on Sept. thread. My FET might be on 9/25/09 as i am on Estrace & monitoring. Good luck to you and hoping that you will have success story soon.
