Ugh...Estrogen

Post by CT_Michele »

Does anyone know where I might be able to find information on estrogen/estrodial levels during a normal menstrual cycle? (while not on any meds) I have been trying to get my e2 down for months with lupron to prepare for an FET. I just want to compare my weekly numbers with what is suppossed to be normal. My clinic thinks the lupron might be starting to work, but I am not convinced, since my e2 levels are still too high.

Thanks!

Michele- I'm guessing you might have already checked the internet...if not, I came across this and there's an interesting graph but it might not have the exact numbers like you are looking for- good luck!

Normal index for Estradiol

Post by Mrs Bunny »

The Estradiol level varies throughout the cycle. My blood test lab report came back with the following reference index

Normal range of E2 values on the Day of Cycle relative to LH peak day:

Follicular (for LH peak day minus 12 days) Normal = 19 to 83 pg/mL
Follicular (for LH minus 4 days) Normal = 64 to 183
Midcycle (the day before LH peak day) Normal = 150 to 528
Luteal (for LH peak + 2 days) Normal = 58 to 157
Luteal (for LH peak + 6 days) Normal = 60 to 211
Luteal (for LH peak + 12 days) Normal = 55 to 150

Day 3 of cycle would fall into the first line, for early Follicular phase.

This index may only apply to this particular lab's results while other labs may have a slightly different index for "normal". Hope this helps. Good luck with your E2!

Thank you for all of your responses. This past Monday, e2 was finally down, so I have started estrace and am on my way to my FET after months of delays...thank you all and keep your fingers crossed for no more bumps in the road.
