Hi shelbyrn0214,

we had our big day today. First I got an ultrasound and then we had injection class. I just try not to think about the injections at the end.
But I got my schedule jipeaahhh and I start stimulation on Sunday - yeah.
I am happy to start but I am nervous about the injection. I guess after a couple of shots that will go away.

Cheers to everyone

kiwi - the injections are overwhelming at first but it will get easier. After a few days it will all be a breeze. Good luck!

dtao - dtao - lots and lots of baby dust. have faith. do you have any more HPTs? maybe you could take one more before you call. You're in my thoughts and prayers.

mjay - I am hoping that your symptoms are coming back because your preggers! in fact I have faith that is where the symptoms are coming from! You and dtao are gonna get this thread off to a positive start!

kristy - Hi! I am also hoping that your current symptoms are pregnancy related! I'll be thinking of you. Keep us posted this week and with your beta!

malya - Do you like watching your friends child? Is it causing your more stress than you need or can handle at this point in your life? I think those are questions you need to ask yourself. If it causing you undue stress maybe you shouldn't be doing it. Can you sit down with your friends and discuss your concerns?

AFM, So...my appt. this morning showed that my lining is excellent. BUT, my estrogen level was only 41.8 and they want it to be at least 100. So, they have added estrace (sp?) to my med regime. They are oral pills that I am supposed to take vaginally. Does my level seem REALLY low? Does anyone know how this could possibly effect my outcome? Will the estrace really help?

Johannanita – Tons of Good Luck tomorrow! Hoping for lots of little eggies!

Wolffie – YAY on the lining check! Keep on getting fluffy!

Fitzjr – Good Luck tomorrow! Stick embies, stick!!!

Malya – Sounds like things are progressing nicely with your lining. I’m so sorry your emotions in full swing right now. It will all get better when you see that beautiful baby of yours!

Katie – Glad you got the garage cleaned out. We just finished planting trees: a magnolia, white fig, and a muscadine vine. I have wanted to get that done for a while. LOL about the LPN comment! I tell you what, when I got out of nursing school, I enjoyed working with LPNs more than the RNs. It’s true when they say nurses ‘eat their young’. Luckily I had a couple of great LPNs who took the time and taught me so much. I hope you can find the time to go back if that’s what you want to do. I did travel nursing for 2 years and I loved it. Maybe after you get your RN and the young’n turns 18 you can travel the country!

Mjay – Girl, it sounds like you are preggo!!! I am going to the ‘Yay your’re preggo; stay away OHSS dance’ for you (is that a new one?). Maybe they will go ahead and do a beta tomorrow with your u/s.

Kristy – Sounds like you are preggo, too! I hope things work out for you this time. GL!

Deftonesmo – You go girl! You’re a strong woman. I just hope I can be that strong when my time comes.

Dtao – Oh, I hope you did see one! I did a lot of research and even if it is faint, it’s still positive! That stinks about having to wait for the beta results. GL!!!!

Kiwi – that’s awesome! We will be very close in our stims start. What are you on? Will you be taking Ganirelix?

Hello ladies-

I haven't been on here for 3 days and I had 5+ pages to read-WOW!

Michele-It sounds like you are busy with your Master's. I just finished mine in May in Curriculum and Instruction. I teach 2nd grade-it sounds like there are a few teachers on here :) You are still so positive after the waits and delays-it gives me a more positive outlook too. Thanks!

Katie-I have my fingers crossed for you. This has to be our time! Your DH cracks me up on the 50k baby intro! So true.

I am going to be better about personals and check up a little more often. I do hope everyone is getting great news.

AFM-I am going in for baseline on Thursday. I took a PIO shot to start AF but haven't started yet. My RE told me not to worry-but with the last cycle canceled I can't help but be worried. Hopefully I can start BCPs on Friday and get this show on the road. I will take BCPs but no Lupron and then my RE said I would take follistim and gon. (no clue on spelling). I'm glad I at least get to use the left over Follistim from the last cycle :)

Hi Ladies,
I've been super busy at work since I have to take tomorrow off. I was in the middle of a project and I ended up just finishing it.

Shelby - It's real nice not to have to take meds for a night. It even feels strange. I feel like I should be. FMC - if it's the one in Fort Lauderdale then I live right down the street from it. Thank you for your well wishes. I just hope that they'll be able to get all of my follies out and they all fertilize. I don't have too many to beging with. :?

Wolffie - Thank you for the GL. Please say a little prayer for me.

Fitzjr - Are you going for ER or ET tomorrow? Either way, GL!!!!

Kattie - Yeah, i can't believe I actually got to trigger this time. It acutally wasn't bad at all. I numbed the area and my sister did it for me. She did a great job!

AFM, it's been an eventful day to say the least. I'm all set for tomorrow. So listen to this. This afternoon DH calls me and says "Guess who's pregnant?" His brother!! Let me give you some back ground info. This is his younger brother who got married in 2005. We recently found out that he cheated on his poor wife and they got separeted. Well, the mistress is the one who's pregnant!!! First of all I feel so horrible for his wife because they were trying to get pregnant and it never happened. Folks, now I have to deal with my MIL. She is going to be RELENTLESS! She will question me and say things like so when are you going to give me a grand son? Now all my children have given me grandchildren expect you two. I don't even want to deal with her. It's so upsetting. I'm so glad she's on vacation right now and won't be back til after ET. Then I'll just stay away during my 2ww because I just won't be able to deal. I wish I could explain this. She was asking us about a baby after only a yr of me and DH dating. I can't believe this crap is happening now. I just feel like it's a test from God. It must be. I went and had my accupunture today and felt so much better.

Well ladies, I'm off to bed. I have to be at the clinic at 8:30 and ER is at 10. Wish me luck girls and please pray for me. I don't know if I'll make it on here tomorrow. Maybe late that night. I don't respond well to the anesthetic, it makes me sooo sick. So, I doubt I'll be thinking about the computer. I'll give an update as soon as I can.

Thinking of you all and will say another prayer for you all in the am.

Wolffie- to answer your question from before, I am taking time off to be a stay at home mom. As much as I miss teaching, since it is truly my passion, I have found a new passion being a mom. I just couldn;t bare missing all of the exciting new things she is doing everyday, and I am the type of person who does not need much money, so as long as my husbands check pays the bills, I am good. My time home with her is priceless and teaching will always be there. Who cares if I retire 5 years later? These are the years you can never get back.

And about your estrogen...I am taking estrace, but that is all I am taking. I think my pills are 2mg each, and I take them 3 times a day, orally. I do not take anything else except lupron injections. I will not know my estrogen level until my bw on the 9th, but as far as I know, this is all my clinic does to build estrogen for an FET.

Fitz- good luck at ET!

johanita- crazy story about dh's brother...it's always the ones who are not "trying" to get pregnant who end up that way. Good luck at ER!

rayofsunshine- There are A LOT of teachers on here! I can't get over how many! Congrats on finishing your masters, and have you started this year yet? How's your class? Good kids? Bless you for being in 2nd grade...a little young for me...I like mine a tad bit older.

I gotta go to bed, Ella's one year checkup is tomorrow, I am so curious to know her stats and get instructions for the switch away from formula. Talk to you all soon!

Just got back from my stick-n-stir and things seem to be ok. I have one large follicle, but they said they don't think that will affect anything. I will know more this evening after my lab results some back.

Michele - I am so jealous that you get to stay home with Ella! I can't tell you how much I would LOVE to be home with my little guy! My dh and I talked about it last year but it jsut didn't make sense for us. My dh is a firefighter so he works 24 hour shift but is only gone one or two days during my work week. So Tyler (my son) is home with his daddy most days and then on the days that both my dh and I work he is with grandma. So, it just didn't make sense to give up my job and income when Tyler isn't with one of his parents only 56 days in a year. My dh is great though and loves to take tyler to gymboree, swimming, the library, etc. I do miss that I am not getting to take him to those things during the school year though. In regards to the estrace, my RE has been taking the oral pills but I am taking them as suppositories. So next week I will have 5 suppositories a day! UGH!

fitz - good luck today!

johannanita - good luck too! I will be praying for you today! As for your BIL and MIL, so sorry about the situation. Hopefully you'll be able to stay away from her during your 2WW and then you can tell her about your BFP and she'll be off your case!

dtao - praying for a positive!!!

rayofsunshine - HI! nice to 'see' you again! Hope all is going well and I'll be praying that your body cooperates through this cycle!

shelby - anything new? how are things?

Shelby - I will take Ganirelix. Today is my last BC and then on Sunday I start the first shot my planed harvest is on Sept 18th or 17th. When is yours?

wolffie - thanks for your support in comparison the shots in the b.. the first one's look easy but my DH wants to do the injections and he is afraid of injections himself so that makes it a little harder. But he wants to help and I don't want to disappoint him :-)

Hi everyone. I lit a candle by the fertility doll in my kitchen for all of us. I have no idea where this crazy thing came from, but I've been told it's African and of course "It's guaranteed to work!" Well, with a guarantee like that, how could I not? Hmmm. I'll have to post a picture of this lovely wood carving somewhere.

Johannanita - Hang in there with your MIL. Personally, I would throw it back in her face next time you see her and ask her "What's it worth to you?" Since I've lit the candle and we all now have a guarantee, you might as well make some cash-ola out of this, right?

Kiwi - I didn't believe anyone here either when they said you'll be a pro at these injections in no time. I did my first one last night. I was so shocked at how easy the needle pokes into the skin, I sat there for a second absolutely stunned. Getting stuck was virtually painless, but I was having quite the adrenelin rush, I think. I recovered myself enough to push the plunger and everything else. I was also surprised at how little blood there was after. Just one microscopic bead. I didn't even really need the bandaid. You'll be fine. Really.

AFM, 1 Lupron shot down. I haven't flipped out yet. I'm sure it's the calm before the storm.

Good Monring Ladies... you're a bunch of busy little bees huh??? Well, I am so busy at work, I need to try and catch up since hopefully I will be having my FET next week. SO I plan on taking a couple days off and I dont want to leave alot of work for when I get back. Well, I went to the RE today for my us/bw. Now I just wait to get a call as to when to come in for FET. They want my lining to be at least 10mm in order to do tranfer. Mine is already at 14mm, so she said no more appointment for me. She said I may be looking at a Tuesday Tranfer.

Dtao... Have u heard anything hun. I am thinking of you.

Sangria... Thanks for lighting the candle. I really hope it works. Post the pic up, maybe we cn rub on the pic.

fitz... jope your ET went well today. Good Luck hun.
