She had a boy and a girl...Mason and Lily. They are gorgeous. Lots of dark black hair. They are 2 weeks old already! So crazy.
How's everyone doing? It's been pretty quiet on here lately. Guess we're all busy. Just got back from Cancun Monday...my sister's wedding was beautiful. Will post a pic of Lucy and I on photobucket! I have my 16 week check up today so hopefully all is well!
Hi girls!
Sorry long time no talk...as you can imagine things have been quite busy around here!! Very busy and very little sleep but never thought I would be happier about it. We are absolutely in heavan and can;t get enough of these babies!
We ended up having them the day I turned 35 weeks. The doctor had been watching my blood pressure that was creeing up slowly and a few other things. The day we had them, he had me come to the office for a blood pressure check and to drop off another 24 hour urine collection that I had done. My blood pressure was 162/106 so he sent me to the hospital where my blood pressure stayed that high so he called and said this is it, today is the day! It was so wierd, you know it's coming but it was such a shock to believe it was actually going to happen...right then!
So they were born at 3:13 and 3:15 and completely healthy. Never had to spend any time in the NICU at all. We couldn;t have asked for them to be better! He did have lots of trouble stopping my bleeding and we later found out I had a placenta accreta and almost had to have a hysterectomy but luckily he was able to stop it finally. Because of that, we aren;t sure if we are going to be able to have more kids or not. So we are just going to continue to enjoy every single minute of these babies!
I posted pictures on photobucket. They are going to be a month old already on Friday. Can;t believe how fast the time goes!
I will talk to everyone soon.
Meg looks like you guys had a great time in Cancun. Wow...Lucy is a little mini Meg!
Meg- any potty training tips? I bought the book Pottywise yesterday. I want to read a couple books before we start next year. I will wait until she is 2 so February is when it will likely happen.
Mel- do you know what you are having? I forget if you found out? Fogive me if you have already told. I am about 2 months behind on sleep!!
My baby girl starts mothers day out next week. I am terrified!! It seemed like a good idea when I was signing her up back in April, but now I am not so sure! She is going to FLIP out!! Which is why I know she HAS to go!
Gotta run they are BOTH taking a nap!! That like NEVER happens!!
Sooooooo... DH and I had been convinced it was a girl, we had both names picked out and we had been calling Butterbean a her, both of us, just knew it was a girl.
So why even have the Ultrasound...everything in our being said it was a girl...
Well, we went for the Ultrasound yesterday and the tech asked us if we wanted to know "YES!!!" and then she asked if I had an hunches... YES, It's a girl I said.
She laid the wand on my belly and 2 seconds in said, well it's definately not a girl.
Hellooooo penis!
So Gabriel Edward will be joining the fun in January! He looked super fantastic, his heart chambers, his tummy, his face, just amazing!!! I am completely smitten already!
I haven't had a second to get caught up on everybodies stuff, but I promise I will!
Congrats, Melissa! A boy, eh? How fun. I love the name Gabriel. It's funny because it would definitely be on my list, but my sister called dibs on it:) (We each got one boy and one girl "dibs" name!)
Congrats Melissa! I love the name! Boys are a ton of fun. Mine is only 12 weeks old, but so far we are keeping him. And that is even with all the colic and trouble he gave us in the beginning! January will be here before you know it! I am so excited for you!
Hello all!!! Crazy, busy summer...and Noah started walking yesterday!! My little baby is growing up so quickly!!!
So happy to hear everyone's news!!!! Sorry I have not been around lately. I do keep up with everyone on Facebook!!! Love seeing all the pics!!! Love the Cancun pics, Meg!!! Love the pics of the twins, Nickster!! Love all of the pics!!
So, we are debating another one...Noah has just been such an easy baby...I just know another one won't be this easy. Whew...oh well, we are not ready yet, but will probably talk to the clinic later this year. We have one frostie, so will try with that one! I need to time it better this time for work and wait until Spring. I want to take more time off this time!!
Work is crazy. My brother and his witchy wife are pissing me off again. But my husband, Noah and I are doing great, so what else matters?? I still can't believe Noah is one already!!!
Ok, work is killing me. Gotta run!!!

Hey y'all . Just wanted to let you know that we had our ultrasound today. Everything looked great...and it's a BOY! Pretty cool. I'm still a little in shock, as I was convinced that he was a she! We have to (get to) have another ultrasound next month, as he wouldn't move around and let her get a good view of his heart. She's not worried as the heartrate and everything was fine, but wants a closer look.
Tina--Can't believe Noah is 1 already. Where does the time go? Seriously? He is so adorable. I understand the hesitancy on wanting another one. We really struggled with it too. I'm sure whatever you decide will be the right decision for your family.
Well, best go tear Lucy away from the tv (The Little Mermaid or Finding Nemo are pretty much always on demand here!) Happy Wednesday to all!
A BOY!!!! How exciting, Meg!!! Is your husband thrilled???

Congrats Meg!!! I love my little girl, but Sam has been so fun too! Boys are sweet and love their mommas! Glad everything is going good with you. Take care of yourself.
Anna has started mom's day out. I love it!! I get to spend time with Sam and do my chores so that when they are both home I can just spend time with them. So far so good. This morning was the first time she looked a little worried when I left. I hope she didn't cry...
hi all - glad to hear you are all going so well. SOrry it's been a while - life is just so very very busy.
Amelie is going great - she had a bout of gastro a couple of weeks ago which really knocked her around for a week and she lost alot of weight but now she is fully recovered and eating like a small horse!
Not walking yet but pulling up on all the furniture and loving exploring the world at this new level and pulling everything off the shelves - today we bought her a bike seat - I can't wait to get back on my bike - I hope she enjoys it - didn't like her helmet much but she's gonna have to as mummy needs some exercise!
Must fly - laundry to fold and tonight I am out with the girls.
Hope you are all good and the pregnancies are going well.
Congrats to Nickster - I love the pics of the twins - let us know how you are going.
