mjay- I hope the fainting issue goes away, that must be scary for you! I used First Response (i'm totally superstitious about the tests I buy, for some reason- probably because i've bought a million throughout this whole ttc business!!!). I bought the 3 pack, so once I used one on Friday and I had two more in the house, it was like they were calling me to use them

I noticed another post about a week ago where ghost told someone that they can test at 8dp5dt and that's where I am today. Oh, yes, I meant transvaginal, it's all my clinic uses as well. I hope you feel better soon, but try not to worry! i'm prayin that you get some good news tomorrow and have no more waiting!!!

I'm pregnant! Doctor just called with the results and I go back on Friday for beta #2. My HCG was 195!!! I'm so excited!

She accidentally called my husband first looking for me and she told him the news too!

JG_379: OMG Yayyyyyy Im so happy for you. You are pregnant. That is awesome. I know you are just so happy right now. We are on a roll.

AFM: My 2nd beta was 501. Im so happy it more than doubled. Things are looking good. I have my 3rd beta on sat then hopefully my 1st ultrasound next week. I cant wait.

JG -- CONGRATULATIONS!!!! That is wonderful news. I'm so happy for you. How many did you transfer again?

Ladybug -- Wow, those are great numbers. Looks like things are progressing perfectly! Congrats!!

Miner - Don't worry about the cramping. I was SUPER crampy even from Day One after the transfer, and I continue to be crampy. To me they felt the same as pre-menstrual/menstrual cramps. My nurse says that the progesterone does cause the same type of cramping, so don't worry. Write it off.

AFM -- Well, ladies I don't have great news. My second beta did not double. I was at 79 for my first beta, which is low, but we were only 10dp5dt and we only transferred a single. Today my beta was only 110, and it should have been 160 or higher. I test again on Friday. To be honest, I am freaking out and crying. We've been at this for two years and I was finally letting myself be a little happy and joyful and now it feels like the rug just got pulled out from under me.

I've read other boards with ladies with early betas that didn't double and things were fine - so i guess there is still lots of hope. I'm trying to be positive.

hopeful- please try not to worry. Your numbers are going up and not down, so that's important too! It is true, lots of people with low beta numbers go on to have healthy, successful pregnancies. I'll be thinking of you. mjay's right, remember your name is hopeful! Keep up the PMA. I carry a worry stone around with me with the word "blessings" engraved in it and whenever i'm starting to feel down, I hold on to it and let it's message sink in. To answer your question, I had two transferred.

mjay- how did the u/s go? Are you feeling okay?

miner- i'm crampy too. Mostly lower back cramps and some abdominal too. It's exactly what my AF cramps feel like. I hate it too, but the docs reassured me that it's just the progesterone and more common than not in IVF.

Thanks ladies for your support. I'm happy, but itt's still so early, so i'm cautiously happy. The second beta will be very insightful and ease my mind a bit. I've miscarried before at 9 weeks and never had a normal, successful pregnancy, so these initial weeks are going to be pretty hard.

JG- I understand your hesitation. I have never been pregnant before but I am still very mindful ofhow critical the first Tri is. I am sure that you will be just fine..

Ladybug-- WOW- way to go!! Those sound like great numbers... Keep it up!

Mjay-- How are you feeling?? Anyword on the fainting spells??

AFM- The cramping has subsided but now I am having headaches.. I started the estrogen patches yesterday and I am wondering if these are what is causing them.. Has anyone had headaches with the patches??? Other than that the headaches are causing me to be alittle light headed?? My 1st beta is on Monday 9/7. Keep your fingers crossed for a BFP!!!

Miner- I had a really bad cluster headache for three days over the weekend. I wasn't on the estrogen patch or anything, but i was worried sick because headaches for me are a sure sign that AF is on its way. The good news is that AF wasn't on its way

. I hope your head feels better soon though, I know how headaches can pretty much ruin my day!

i had another procdure today. they had to drain 2 liters of fluid from my abdominal cavity. it's OHSS coming back. the doc said that this was a good sign b/c it's the HCG that triggers OHSS. he said 90% of women who have OHSS this late are pregnant b/c the HCG is from the embryo(s) implanting, not the trigger. i feel tons better, but i'm still sleepy from the anesthesia.

Hi Ladies, I had another beta this morning and just got the results. Beta #1 was 195, Beta #2 was 484! Today was the longest day ever waiting for those results!!!

i did my transfer on wed and feeling much better- tired but no more cramping- after retrieval i felt horrible for several days i am 3 days post transfer

Mjay: Omg im sory to hear that. That sounds painful. I pray all is well and glad you feel much better. Keep resting.

AFM: I had my 3rd beta today and it is 2150. I have to call Mon to set up my 1st baby u/s. I cant wait to see my baby(ies).
