Hi everyone,
I have been checking and wondering why the board hasn't had anything on it. I was starting to think everyone had given up on this board. Glad to see some are back. Went to doc today. I'm dilated 1cm. Not much, but better than nothing. They have scheduled my induction for next tuesday, sept 1st. which is my due date by ultrasounds and LMP due date is the 5th. Cervix is soft and 1cm dilated, but baby is still high up and no thinniing. I walked yesterday and maybe that is why i actually dilated a little. It was very uncomfortable walking around the block, but I did it. I really don't think anything helps if baby isn't ready. Im ready. ha ha. Hope you all are doing well. I know there are many decisons going on in your lives, believe me I know how frustrating it is. Hang in there. I will keep you updated. My thoughts are with you all going through this journey. Take care.

TGIF :D

How is everyone? It's wet here in the ATL but I won't complain after 3 years of drought. The weather foiled plans of going for a run in the park, but there's always something at home that needs addressing.

Rhonda-hang in there. Just a few more days before you meet the newest member of your family :) How exciting!

Yasmina-thanks for the info. I'll be looking into that ASAP as this second round of data off the stix left me to conclude I haven't had an LH surge. But you know the conclusions are only as good as the tests.

Kim-Baby dust to you, lots of PMA and more baby dust.

Sunny-what's the word? been thinking of you.

AFM-not much has changed since last post. I'm just prepping for our long weekend to Boston over labor day weekend. This will be our first long trip since the birth of DD not to mention with her. The ovulation stix this cycle did not give any indications of an LH surge :( I'm trying not to let the stix run the show though. So based on the past couple cycles if I ovulated, it would have been a few days ago right around our anniversary

Hello to everyone else. PMA to all.

Cheers!

Rhonda, Tuesday is going to be here before you know it. I hope the next few days go by comfortably for you.

Catherine, any luck with those stixs.

Matt 6:34, how are you doing? Haven't heard from you in a while.

Sunny, have not heard from you since your Beta was 8/11. I hope you had a BFP!!!

Jillybean, how are things going with you?

I am able to get up and shower today - really weak from being in bed for 4 days and the progesterone has my head swimming, but other than that I am excited about getting up. Now I have to wait until 9/3 for my Beta.

Take care everyone,
Kim

Hey Everyone,
Tomorrow is the big day. i have to be at the hospital at 6am. to be induced which will be one of my actual due dates. I will try to post a picture of my baby girl if I can figure out how to do it. I hope you all are doing well.

catharine, good luck with natural cycle. Im a believer in that since it happened to me and I know it can happen for you. Im sorry i haven't kept up with everyone on here as much as I should. I have been so anxious during this pregnancy and uncomfortable. I do hope that everyone is hanging in there. It seems like I have been pregnant for ever!!! Even though its not my first, last one 15 years ago, i am so nervous. i probably wont sleep a wink tonight. Will let you know as soon as I am able. Take care.

Rhonda,

Best of luck!! That bundle of joy is just waiting to be held and cuddled. Hey, I'm like you, I wouldn't be able to sleep at all tonight, but you should try to get some rest for "Mommy's" sake.

Hello,

I am a newbie to this. My husband just finished our first IVF - no success.
Very disappointing. You think you are doing everything right. I had 3 transferred on day 2. I do not know if that is good or not. Well I am here looking for some support and insight.

Tina-welcome. I'm so sorry to read about your first cycle. The ladies here are great. Sending you hugs and a little PMA to take the edge off.

Rhonda-I'm thinking of you. I know you went in early this morning. I can't wait for you to introduce your wee one to the group. I'm shedding cheers of joy for you and your family +1 more :)

Hello to everyone.
We head to Boston Thursday for a long weekend of sightseeing, football and good general irish fun :)

Take Care all.
Cheers!

Welcome Tina, sorry to hear about unsuccessful try.

Well ladies, I POAS this morning and BFP!!!!! I don't go for my beta levels until tomorrow but I am walking on cloud 9 with some reserve. I m/c at 8 weeks two years ago so I want to be cautious. I woke up at 1:40 a.m. to pee and got a "pregnant" on the clearblue stick - I had to wake DH. Funny seeing a man excited and emotional standing there in his underwear. We haven't told anyone.

Take care everyone,
Kim

I'm going to try the pregnancy miracle system!!!

Post by Rachel Hoods »

I have tried almost everything. talked with a freind of mine in Canada and she adviced me to try the holistic & ancient chinese system.
she told me it worked for her after 4 IVF's!
What do I have to lose?
If anyone here wants to "run" with me on this - I'll be more than glad.

Rachel,

I had never heard of this. I looked at the web site and it is certainly cheaper than an IVF cycle. Even better, have your friend in Canada send you her book for loan.

Sorry Rachel - my bad! The web site showed the front cover of the book as an actual book. Wasn't thinking.

42 year old 1st IVF day 2 embryo transfer

Post by bw2076 »

I am posting here just to see if anybody had similar experience: 42 year old just did my 1st IVF FSH 225iu twice daily for about 8 days with good estradiol response and 7 follicles, retrived 4 eggs, 2 fertilized. Only one embryo on day 2 with 4 cells of uniform sizes and minimal fragmentation (2%). I was told that this one viable embryo is of very good quality. Transferred this only one embryo on day 2. Anybody had day 2 tansfer with only one embryo and succeeded? Any similar expeience for 40+ women out there? Did you get pregnant eventually? Very streesed right now. Thanks for any response.
