Hi there - I'm usually on the other August board. I'm freaking out because we got a BFP but my beta#1 at 11dp5dt was 79, and my second one on 12dp5dt was only 110 -- so it didn't double. Does anyone who is preggers have experience with betas not quite doubling? This is our first IVF and the first time I've ever been (even a little) pregnant.

Lisa and Dogz - Sounds like you might have had similar experiences? Lisa, I'm praying for you!

hopeful - they did 2 betas on back-to-back days, with no day in between? The number isn't going to double in one day. They say to allow 2 to 3 days to double. I plugged your numbers into an hcg calculator allowing only 1 day in between, and yours are TOTALLY normal!

fkm - spotting = NORMAL and almost to be expected, so take a deep breath hon. It's ok!

Hi - No sorry, I meant to say the 2nd beta was on day 13 post 5 day transfer - so it was about (a little less than) 48 hours in between betas. I didn't even meet the 60% increase mark...

Fkm7783 dont worry i freaked out too when i had tiny spotting after 6 days but it was prob. implantation, fingers crossed for you xxx

AFM went to regular doc today and they wont do a beta says after 7 positive tests (yeah i am an addict!!) that i am pg and they wont be able to tell if its healthy so i have to wait to scan which isnt for another 3 wks. Poor j is sooooo worried and trying not to get too excited as he was devastated (still is) after our last scan and m/c. I pray my little baby/ies are fighters. Is anyone else still cramping with bfp???? its on /off more today than yesterday and bb's only slightly tender

Sorry I have been missing, DH is working from home this week. So I can't even see the computer, let alone get on it.
I had u/s and b/w Monday. HCG is now all gone and NO CYSTS!! So I guess I am on for a FET soon. Started BCP Tuesday night. I had an appointment w/ RE for yesturday. I wanted to get info on the chemical and what is happening with FET, but he had an emergency and cancelled. So now I need to wait till next week to see him. So I don't know if that means I will miss Sept or not. I guess we will see? I'm trying to remain calm and just roll with things.
I'll check in next time I get to the computer. Sorry I can't make any personals.

gi: Yes im still cramping and I have a BFP. Its soooo annoying and scary. I honestly think its mostly because of the suppositories. I never had this kind of cramping with the PIO. Stay positive and the PMA.

If you dont mind me asking ladies, How much do you ladies pay for the suppositories? My insurance covers it and would have only charged me $30 but needed an auth from my RE. As soon as they saw the word "infertility" and "IVF" they said they dont cover it and it will be $200. I dont know what to do.Another thing, after the PIO shots from before the sides of my legs burn and hurt when just the skin is touched. I hope im not allergic because I might have to go back to them. I need some advice please ladies.

Hello everyone!

Sorry I've been missing in action. Its been a little crazy lately but I just wanted to give on update that we are expecting twins!!

I'm still shocked by the news.

Anyhooooo, just wanted to thank everyone for their support and I continue to have everyone in my thoughts and prayers.

mlorfei - congrats........ awesome! What were your betas? How far along were you when they did they u/s?

ladybug - M insurance covered the shots without any problem, besides you are pregnant and no longer infertile. My co-pay is $25.

Quick question for those with bfp though this maybe TMI but after i use the crinone suppostiory about 1 hr later i have small discharge from it and it does have a very very light pink tone to it do you think that i am spotting??? Its ok during the day normal cream colour but usually only happens after suppository. It makes me nervous as i have some cramps on/off my scan isnt for another 3 wks, i am trying my best to relax but after last m/c its hard j still doesnt really believe we are pregnant! I just wish we could see heartbeat and baby now so we can breathe, ah well the joys of it all

I had my second beta today. My number didn't double.. it went from 219 to 349. I go back Sunday for my third beta.

I'm trying not to worry (but that is very hard). I am going to rest for the next couple of days. I'll post my results on Sunday.
