Thanks for the good luck wishes, Trace. I was very optimistic until late last night. I awoke around 2 am to go to the bathroom which I then realized I was starting to get AF

I could not go back to sleep, and when I did I had bad dreams about AF. I have to call my doctor today to see if he still wants me to come in to test on Monday. The last time (when I did ICSI in Dec.) AF did not come until at least 14 days after ET. Now it appears to be here one week after FET.

I am feeling a little crampy - and really upset!

Did this ever happen to anyone and still have to go for their blood test?

I want to call the office and schedule another FET as soon as possible. I have 4 embies remaining, and I can't stand the waiting. I know I will have to go in and have a consultation with my doctor first.

Sadly,

HI Traci/Denise

Traci - thanks for the thoughts - you truely are a saint! April is your month definately girl!!

Denise - I got AF nine days after ET last time and felt gutted as most of my FCBs seemed to be making it to the full 14! This time I am on a stimulated IUI cycle which is slightly different so AF is due the same day I test!!!!!!!!!!

Anyway, when I got my AF last time, loads of girls from this site replyed telling me how they had bled, some a little and some thought it was full on AF and went on to test positive............I know seeing the bleeding appear makes you want to throw up, but hang on in there til Monday......you never know!!!

I am the worst pessimist in the world and i have a hole bitten in the side of my cheek over the last two days!

I don't know how I feel, I've had none of my usual AF signs until this morning when I got a massive spot in the middle of my cheek! So really just a nervous wreck..........also supposed to be going to a Christening on Sunday which I am not sure about just in case AF arrives in the middle of it all and I have a break down!

Ramble ramble......I'll shut up now!

Speak soon and fingers crossed girls!

Love

Thanks Jen,

I heard the same things today and read them too online that the dark spotting could be implantation bleeding and not to worry (yet). The doctor's office said the same thing too, so I will continue to take it easy for the rest of the weekend, and find out for sure on Monday.

Your positive thoughts will keep me going! Good luck to you on Monday.
( I know what you were saying about the Christening on Sunday. I have a baby shower in a few weeks and I am not responding until after the results.)

This spotting is about a week before my regular AF time, so hopefully it is implantation bleeding. (This spotting came one week after the FET).

I am still hopeful! :D

Traci - Thanks for the special thoughts and candles!!

xx

Good luck to you for Monday and keep your chin up.

Who I am to talk, I feel that I am already obsessing and it is only my first IUI!

Oh Jen,

I was hopeful for you! I am soo sorry to hear that AF arrived!! Is it definitely AF, or could it be that implantation bleeding that we were discussing yesterday? When was your ET? Mine was 3/25. Since I spotted yesterday, I spent the rest of the afternoon and evening in bed with hopeful thinking.

I am praying for you!

Love,

hi jenny

so sorry to hear your new's. It is so hard when you get a negative then af shows up. I have really bad af pains so do not hold out much hope, at least with these tmt we can get back in the saddle and do not have to wait months to start again.

really hope you get a positve next time.

take care

Thank you for all of the positive advice last week re: spott

Post by DMOYER »

You are all so positive. Thank you for your support. Last week when I thought that AF was arriving (a week after my FET) I almost lost it. You all told me that it could be implantation bleeding (thanks Jen). I tested today and I received the most wonderful call from my DH while I was teaching 20 fifth graders this morning. The doctor called and said the results are POSITIVE!! I am so ecstatic - everyone here has been so supportive. Even though we are continents away - I feel close to you all. Please keep the candles lit (thanks Trace) and keep me in your thoughts. I go back on Wed. for some more blood work to check the levels. Right now they are over 200. The doctor said high possibility for twins. Does anyone know what they should be on Wed. if they are over 200 today. He said that a normal - single pregnancy is around 139.

Thanks again for all your positive thoughts!

Hi Denise

Fantastic news, well done. :D

I don't know what the levels should be but it looks good from what others have had in the past. My clinic don't do blood tests for levels so I don't really know much about them.

You and DH must be over the moon.

CONGRATULATIONS

Dagny,

You are such an inspiration! Thank you for your kind thoughts! Speaking about being "over the moon" we had the most gorgeous moon rise this evening. It was a huge orange glow. We live on the east coast of NJ on the shore of the Atlantic Ocean, and it appeared over the ocean with the most beautiful colors.
