Kristy-Congrats!!! Fingers crossed those numbers double by Sunday but they sound really high which is a good sign!!( maybe twins?!?!)

Dtao-any word on your second Beta?

Thanks everyone for all your warm welcomes!! I still have to catch up on everybody's story so that I can write words of encouragement to everyone!!

Just to give a little more information on myself....My husband and I started trying last June (we weren't even married a year), but we figured that we didn't know how long it would take and we both wanted to be young parents!! After a couple of months, I began to spot 4-5 days before my period and each time I thought it was implantation bleeding (!!) but each time I would get my period for 5 days:(

So I went to by OBGYN and she basically told me I was CRAZY!!! She told me to stop charting, taking temps, etc and to "have a glass of wine and have lots of sex"!! Well after another 3-4 months my spotting became 7-9 days before my period and I was basically spotting/period for most of the month. I called again and this time she told me this wasn't normal and to get tests/blood work.

After agonizing days to get it back they basically told me that my levels were fine, but being slightly neurotic wanted more tests done! She referred me to a specialist and they found out within the first couple of tests that my lining was on the thin side so they put me in Vivelle patches and then put me on progesterone after ovulation.

Each cycle they monitored me, and each cycle I would still spot even with progesterone (orally and vaginally). They don't have a reason why I spot, but just that I do

I had 3 unsuccessful IUI's and then this last cycle they did injections with an IUI which ended up in a chemical pregnancy.

I'm really lucky and have great insurance that will cover IVF so my doctor thought I should go ahead with that instead of doing IUI's....so that's where I am now!!! I honestly never thought that a little over a year ago I would be doing IVF, but I realize that life doesn't always go in the direction you thought it would....so while this has been a rollar coaster ride, I am very excited to begin this process and hopefully get a baby!!!!

Claud - Sounds like you have been through quite a bit, but we are hoping for nothing but success with your first cycle. I've seen many ladies who have been very lucky to have it happen. As you have seen, we are getting off to a very good start!

Dtao - Can't wait to hear from you! :D

Johannanita - Again, lots of sticky dust coming your way!

We are going to the high school football game tonight so I don't know if I will get back on since we will be home late and I will be working in the garden all day tomorrow. I'm going to go ahead and change everyone over the next category that is due to move. Good luck everyone and have a great weekend! 8)

shelbyrn - we got 14 eggs of which 4 fetilized (i have an egg maturation issue). Of those 4 we did PGD on them since my issue is so not the norm, and 3 came back normal. At my 6dt 2 were xblatosyst, Grade 1 and the third was a grade 1 but still not at the blatosyst stage. So we talked through it and knowing that the third would not survive freezing, we all agreed to transfer all three. BUT, we talked a lot about if all three took and what we would do. I won't go into it here as some of you all may think differently, but we'd do what was best for me and the babies. Very doubtful we will even have to worry there as the chances are like 3%. I'm just excited to be where I am and we just one healthy baby ladies, right!!

Kristy - Your beta definately sounds like you may have multiples, but we'll hope for just twins  . You have to do what is best for you and the (as Cheekyone calls them) Bubs! I'm very happy for you and your strong beta!

Good news! My beta more than doubled to 53 yesterday--36hr doubling time. That's 10dp3dt, so still very early. Based on the numbers, looks like it's a singleton. We had been wondering what it would be like to have two, but of course we are overjoyed with one. Progesterone was at a good level too. Hopefully that means they'll be taking me off the injections sooner.

kristy Congrats! Now we can endure the 3 wk wait for our first u/s together.

I am so uplifted after reading messages today!! Congrats ladies on the BFPs!!!! I can feel the good vibes rubbing off on me :)

I went in yesterday-I haven't had AF so they did u/s and b/w. My lining was triple layered and progesterone levels were high. They decided today to start me on prometrium once a night, then BCPs for 2 weeks and start stims on 9/18. They are putting me on gonarelix, follistim, and menopur. I really can't believe how quick this protocol seems to me.

Has anyone done this short of time on BCPs? I was over suppressed last cycle so maybe that is the change. Whatever will work I'm game!

Enjoy the long weekend. I hope to sleep, relax, and snuggle with my DD and DH!!

Lady J - It looks like my FET will be just two days after yours! Do you plan on taking a HPT? I had originally said I was not but as the time gets closer I have decided that I probably will. My insurance does not cover the fertility AP. It covers other AP but not the center I go to. I felt more comfortable going to a center that specializes in AP for fertility.

kristy - YIPPEE! WAHOO! HOORAY FOR BFP!!!!!! Congrats to you!

Claud - thanks for sharing your story. You've had quite a ride. Hopefully this will be your last stop and in less than a year you'll be holding a little one in your arms!

dtao - what a fabulous number!!! CONGRATS!

Well ladies, it looks like were off to a good start. Let's keep the BFPs coming! I am looking forward to us all moving over to the pregnancy thread and sharing stories over the next 9+ months!

Congrats DTAO!!!! That is super exciting! YAY for the double beta too!

Johanna- woooo hooo...5 fertilized eggs...that is great! How many are you transfering? Good luck with the ET......sticky dust to you!!!

Tonya- welcome! It looks like you and I are in the same boat, just on the BCP for now too...we're waiting for the fun stuff to start : )

Malya-thanks for the forum info...ill post my q's there too

mjay-sorry you have to go through all that mess : ( hope it means ur getting through the bad stuff...cuz there is plenty happy appts to come.

Deftonesmo-thats cool you on not going to POAS...i dont think I would either, but we'll see. Good luck on the 9th. Sticky dust to you!!!

Kristy-WOOOOOO HOOOOOO....so exciting!!!!! I hope for a double...double....double beta!!! finger crossed >< That would be awesome if it was multiples! That is what my DH and I would love to have. U might not have to go through all this mess again if that the case. I hope you get what works for you and your DH!

Shelby- GROW follies GROW!!!! GL! Thanks for the update...2 BFP's woo hoo!!!

Lady J- GL on the 10th! Thaw frosties safe and sound!

Claud-insurance covers you IVF?!??!! Where do you live, what insurance do you have? That is wonderful! GL

AFM- we got our tickets to Serbia! We will be there from 9/22-10/18...we are super excited! My brother in law tried to send the Serbian equivalent of Lupron called Dipherelin today and was told that he could not ship meds overseas. We tried everything, but couldnt figure out a way to get it here. So, I called my Dr here that is monitoring me to see if he would fill a Rx for Lupron and they said they would!! They get the drug from Freedom Fertility Pharmacy for $129/14 day supply. Is that a good price? Do ya'll usually take 1x/day or the 2x/day injection? The Serbian dr's have never heard of Lupron so Im kinda nervous.

Prayers for everyone! Ya'll are very uplifting...lets keep the BFP's going!!!

Hello Ladies....I'm back!!!!

Wolffie - I went to see my accupunturist last night before my ET. So I asked him what he did for pregnant women. He did say that he did different points. I just wanted to make sure he knew what he was doing. He did accupunture back on China so he's been doing it for many many years. I was a little scared since he isn't a 'fertility' specialist. I went today after ET and he did points on my legs and he did the inside of my wrist. He did none on the belly. It was great!

Turtle - Thanks for the well wishes! My ET was a breezy today.

Shelby - Yes, please, send me ALL the sticky dust you can find!

Lady_J - Thanks for the sticky dust, I need it! I pray that your little snow babies cooperate and defrost properly. GL!!!

KristyB - YAY!!!!! Great beta #'s. Do you hope it's twins? Sounds like you'll have a great 2nd beta. I'm praying for you!

Kala - We put 2 back in. I hope they both stick.

AFM, I had my ET today. I got several compliments on my embies from the nurse and doctor. The ET was a breeze. I went and got accupunture afterwards and then went and had break fast. I'll be home for the rest of the day relaxing. My clinic says reduced activities for 2 to 3 daysm and then normal activities. So, I plan on lounging around for today and tomorrow. I'm looking forward to it. I'm so glad they didn't say bedrest for 3 days because DH would have strapped me down to the bed. My 1sr beta is 9/17.

DH and I went out to this new steak house in our area and had a great dinner. We got to talk and I explained POAS. We jointly decided not to. I hate surprises and I always knew I would, but now I don't think I will. after reading all the stories on here I've decided that it would be best to wait. My Dh thinks that I get too excited over everything, so we should wait for the definative news from RE, so no POAS for us. We'll see what happens later on. :D

Have a great weekend ladies. I know I will. :D

Well my first Follistim injection went great this morning! Cullen (12 yrs old) gave it to me. He put the cartridge in the pen and everything - and no bruise! Austin (16 yrs old) will probably do my evening injection. We spent about 4 hours in the garden getting the beanpoles up, cutting corn stalks for Fall decor, etc. DH didn't get to bush hog and till for the greens to be planted because he started feeling sick. So me and the boys finished it up. Now I get to go to the chinese and pizza restaurants to get supper (weird combination, huh?).

Oh Mjay, I'm so sorry! I'm saying a prayer that it's got to be because you are pregnant. Will it ease up anytime soon? Did they say when it will go away? Hang in there and please know that I am doing all the dances I can think to make it better! I'm not sure if it would help now, but are drinking plenty of gatorade?
