FET Implantation

Post by tryinginsac »

Hi... Does anyone know the time frame for a FET implantation?? They were 5 day blasts. I've read somewhere 5 days after transfer, but that doesn't sound right to me since we're doing the first beta test on 8 days after transfer... Very confused right now.

Implantation takes place over a time period. It can start shortly after the blastocysts hatch. That's usually day 6 or 7 (1-2 days after a day 5 blast transfer). A few days after that it can be fully implanted into endometrial tissue. At about that time (5 days after blast ET), we have the first chance of seeing hCG from implantation, in a serum test (typically too low for urine tests at that point). But many don't show up until days later than that.

By 8 days, over 90% of pregnancies that are going to occur will be seen in a serum hCG test. Among those not yet seen by that date, most would be non-viable (but not all of them).

If it does not show up in a serum test by ten days, it's not happening.

An HPT takes longer, of course, because it is not as sensitive.
Avoid IVF and surrogacy in Ukraine. Ukrainian centers pay shills to post here under numerous sock accounts pretending to be patients in Ukraine. Centers using such deceptive advertising cannot be trusted and should be avoided.
