I am having a FET on Sept. 12th. My first IVF was successful and my ds is 14 months old. We are planning on transferring two blasts (if they survive the thaw). I was hoping to find out if there are many BFPs on this board from a FET. Can you tell me...
1. how many embies you thawed
2. how many you transferred
3. how many implanted
I am getting so nervous and would love to hear some success stories! THANKS!
Thank you ladies! I am really hoping that both make the thaw and honestly really hoping that both implant. Our dream is 3 kiddos but this will be our last attempt with IVF. So, probably my last shot at having three little ones. Thanks for posting your stories!
wishfull27 and summerbaby - do you remember what grade the embies were that you transferred? Which day were they frozen?
Thanks Wishfull! Congrats on your two little ones! Best wishes for a healthy and happy pregnancy! I can only hope to have similar success with my FET! Was there anything 'special' you did? (acupuncture, diet, etc)
I just got a BFP from FET. Both survivied the thaw they were frozen at day 3, one was a 12 cell and the other 8 cell lost 2 cells on defrosting but still looked good. We wont know for another 3 wks how many implanted but please god we get a healthy scan this time. Wishing you and your little frosties the best of luck xxxx

7th IVF finally our precious miracle girl Kayla born 24/11/10, 8th IVF FET Sept 2012 BFP!!!
Its TRIPLETS!!!!
nothing different with diet but did accupuncture for this and previous cycle so not sure if that helped - know it helps to realx you - think was if anything less positive about fet working as knew embies were not as good a quality as fresh that failed .. just goes to show !!
Wishful - Thanks again! I have been going acupuncture (actually just started with this cycle). I did it with my first IVF. I was a little late in the game starting this time but I hope to gt in 4 times in the two weeks before transfer and once after.
I had a BFN on my 1st IVF fresh cycle in May. I did my 1st FET August and got a BFP!!! They do work! We thawed 2 embryos and transferred 2 embryos. I have an u/s appt on Sept. 8th to find out how many implanted. I will post when I know for sure. Good luck to you and have FAITH that they really do work!
We did FET back on 6/22/09 - we thawed and transferred two blasts (one day-5 and one day-6) We got a BFP and I am currently 13 weeks pregnant with one strong baby. Best of luck to you!

Hi wolffie-
FET's do really work, and I have a beautiful 2 month old boy to prove it! I did 2 fresh IVF cycles non of which worked. After the 1st cycle I did an FET and it was a bfn, but my 2nd FET after the 2nd fresh ivf cycle worked! I was very fortunate that each time all my embies made the thaw. I have heard that they usually have a 90% success rate of embies making the thaw and knew someone that had 6 embies and non made the thaw (but who knows what happened with that). For my 2nd FET we had 4 embies although 1 the RE wasn't sure why they even froze it since it was such poor quality. We transfered all 4 embies with assisted hatching. My first scan looked like more than one sac but only 1 made it. I had my doubts about FET's but they do work. Not sure why my fresh ones never implanted but all that matters is that I have my beautiful boy now. I wish you the best of luck with your FET. Sending lots of baby dust. Keep us posted!
