Hello ladies how r u , I have one question . What is considered a good (minimum)beta level to confirm pregnancy?

After my 2WW's I have always been confused as to what they measure to let me know if the IVF cycle has been positive or negative and what level they are measuring to confirm this. They keep talking about some number needing to be more than 5 to consider a success. They have explained it to me - but I don't think I fully understand.

MJAy - wow - you are rocking!!!!! I am so happy for you.

J&C - Hope you had a great time visiting your sis. I have been having issues with breaking out too. I have been off the BCP for awhile now but I still seem to have new pimples popping up everywhere. It's driving me crazy!

Karling - YAY for your first lupron injection!

cheekyone - when is your beta? do you think you'll POAS? How have you been feeling?

miyaya - it sounds like you had a fabulous vacation! it sounds wonderful, i'm SO jealous!

bei - how are things with your cycle? I'm sorry you've been feeling so emotional. This journey is such a roller coaster and can really heighten emotions in other areas of our lives. I know it's not the same since we're over the internet, but you can always lean on us. I believe that an HCG level of 5 is required in order to stay that there is a pregnancy.

AFM, I am now done with my lupron and am on to the PIO injections and the progesterone suppositories. My dh gave me my first PIO injection tonight. I must say that it wasn't painful this time around. My RE office included a different needle size in my prescription order and this needle is smaller than the traditional needle for the PIO. Wow, what a difference that makes! 5 more days 'til transfer! I pray my two little totsicles make it through the thaw.

I hope everyone had a great weekend!

Hey Ladies,
I hope ya'll had a wonderful Holiday weekend! I spent most of mine in bed...cuz of a cold. Im a teacher like many of ya'll and I couldnt avoid those back to school germs :(

Cheryl-GOOD LUCK TOMORROW! I'll pray for you!

mjay-sorry you have to go through all that...hope things get better. Yay on the high beta and BFP!! Woo hoo! I cant wait to see how many of us will have multiples by the end of October. Maybe you'll be one of them :D

Wolffie-I am hoping to be able to keep in touch while in Serbia! My husband's house there as internet. I would go crazy if I couldnt keep up with all the exciting things happening in everyone's lives...and share whats going on with mine. I am so happy to find this forum...you are all wonderful, strong, supportive women!!!!

I am thinking I will have my beta done here in the US. I still dont know what kind of schedule the serbian doctors will have me on. What they told me so far is pretty strange...but hopefully it will get straighten out when I get there.

I pray constantly...without even realizing it. I think it really started when I beacame a teacher...I pray for pateince thoughout the school day...lol. When I feel like Im about to break down, I say a quick prayer and cross myself. Im not catholic...but it makes me feel like all the stress has been lifted off me.

Everyone: Im courious: what is your dosage of Lupron?
Im hoping to get my Rx tomorrow, since I cant get my meds from Serbia.

Sticky dust to everyone!!!

Hello Ladies -

Just hanging out today. Nothing too exciting.

cheryl010120 - YAY!! I'm soo happy for you!!! I hope you get a great beta #.

wolffie - I love accupunture too. It's like my nap time. :D I always feel sooo relaxed afterwards. I wonder if I could continue to go? I hope my little embies snuggle in too. I've been talking to them occationally. They just need to stay and hang out for 40 weeks. :D

J&C - I pray that I can report a BFP too! I didn't think I'd make it this far! It's pretty exciting. As for my MIL, argh, they come back tomorrow from vacation. I just have to stay away for one weekend. I think I can manage that. I know DH is going to want to go over there so I'm going to have to come up with something real good. lol Maybe I'll be working. :D

cheekyone - Thanks for the PMA. Right back at ya! I still can't believe I'm PUPO!!!! YAY

mjay - OMG!!!! WOW!!! That is the highest 1st beta I've seen yet!! Congrats!!! That is so awesome. I hope you start feeling better soon.

turtle0619 - I've heard people stim for 9 to 16 days. It all depends on how you respond to meds and the size of your follicles.

shelbyrn0214 - What is stick and stir? Blood work and ultra sound? I just went this afternoon to Target. I took it as soon as I got home. Haven't seen any effects of it yet. lol I'm sure I'll feel better soon. :D

fitzjr11 - 4 days til beta??!! That is so nice. I wish. GL!! :D :D
