Question for Ghost - post transfer lifting

Post by Allie_NC »

Hello,
I had a 3 embryos transferred on Monday of last week, so I am currently 7pt5dt. I have been really careful not to lift anything over 5 pounds, but Saturday when we took a family picture I had my 3-year-old neice, who is probably 25/30 pounds, on my lap. Everyone had to slide down, so I lifted her and scooted down a foot or so, not even thinking. I am so scared this could have caused me to lose the eggs...what do you think about it? Could lifting her off my lap be bad enough to cause the IVF not to work? I clearly had to use my stomach muscles and I was having light cramping every day prior to that. Today I haven't had any cramping at all. I am sure it could be psychological, but I am still scared.
Any input would be great appreciated!

Any instructions for lifting must come from your doctor, of course.

However, I tend to doubt any harmful effect given you are 7dp5dt. Your embryos should have implanted already, and by now are beneath the endometrial surface. They should not be going anywhere.

Keep in mind the natural model. Women have proved quite capable of getting pregnant and keeping the pregnancy while tending their own baby or young child. This obviously involves a lot of moderate lifting.
Avoid IVF and surrogacy in Ukraine. Ukrainian centers pay shills to post here under numerous sock accounts pretending to be patients in Ukraine. Centers using such deceptive advertising cannot be trusted and should be avoided.
