Hi Guys
A little nervous needed people who would understand my worries. It's day thirteen after my embryo transfer and i will be doing my pregnancy test tomorrow and i'm absolutely terrified. My whole body aches and my chest is sore but all this could have been caused by the treatment its self and the progestone and it's driving me nuts that there are no signs that could give me hope. I have no signs of a period but then again mine are so rare anyway that doe'snt make me feel better either, it's all a lost cause and part of me does'nt want to do the test as then there will still be hope. Is it usual for it not to work the frist time or is it all a fifty fifty gamble at any time or number of treatment cycles. Any wise words would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Siany :D

Hi ~
I hope you get a BFP! It's not unusual for it to work the 1st time ~ I think there are lots of ladies here that had it work the 1st time :)

I know it's hard but try to relax and think good thoughts ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
IVF1: BFP 02/08 - Chemical 4 wks.
IVF2: BFP 06/08 - Miscarriage 6 wks.
IVF3: BFP 11/09 - Chemical
IVF4: dec/jan Dear Lord..please let this be the one.

Welcome.
As someone on here told me even if you get a BFN, your life is no different today as it was yesturday. Little compensation, but it's true. In our Aug/Sept thread we had tons of BFP's and many of them were 1st timers, so stay positive!! :lol:

Have you tried an HPT? I'm guessing not since you don't want to even test for beta. I was feeling like that too, for a few days, like, there's hope if I don't get a negative. But it was killing me not knowing. And if you get a negative on the HPT, at least you'll be somewhat mentally prepared. That's what I kept telling myself anyway, even though I kept taking those HPT's when they were all negative.

My beta turned out positive. And there is no way to tell with the symptoms. =(

Just wanted to wish you luck on your test tomorrow! I am a first time success story and we are currently pregnant with twins so it could definitly happen for you :D Sending lots of baby dust your way
