Jenny Giraffe......

Post by helenlouise »

After our good 20 week scan today we went to mamas and papas intending to pick up a few bits for our colour scheme for the nursery, but.... we wanted the Jenny Giraffe range which wasn't on show and were told its being replaced with 'sunshine safari'!!
I ask you...... what should we have now for our boys?.... woolly jumpers!!??

Hi Helen

It is always the same when you find something you like.
I have not seen any colour schemes yet that i like and as we are not telling anyone what we are having i am finding it hard not to give it away with colours.
Hope you find something suitable

Yes, i know you can still get it most places but it is being phased out. Think it might be a bit girly now though for my 2 boys!!
What colours schemes has anyone else got so far?

I thought it was very popular that line - funny isn't it!

I have done yellow as like the bright colour and we had done it before we knew the sex - then have a Humphrey elephant border and bedding but can jazz yellow up with any other colour really.

Agree might be a bit femine for them. Babies R us have some nice ideas actually.

Happy thinking

Hi Girlies,

Tracey - I agree I think Babies R Us have some really nice stuff. We have decided to do our nursery in the "Little Bear" range from them which is cream and beige with a tiny hint of blue. As well as doing all the normal mobiles, curtains, bedding etc, they also do the baby bath, baby box, high chair, bouncy chair and moses basket all in the same range so we will be able to be totally co-ordinated!!!

Our "nursery" is full of junk at the moment and although I am dying to do the nursery I am not relishing the idea of clearing our all the mess!!

Boght tiny blue coat hangers today and two more outfits. Dh says I am no longer allowed out on my own as I can't pass a baby shop without buying something!!

Love Julie xx

Julie

What is it with DH's - they don't really mean it as if we take any notice. Becuase I now work (?) from home DH thought he was safe but the internet and oh bliss ebay!!!!
I know the range you are talking about - fab isn't it. Our nursery is north facing so I fancied brightening it up - get going on the junk girl you know you want to.
I have all the co-ordinated boxes etc for baths and baths and bedding and sleep suits and curtains.......... want to get some different bit so actually looking at the full of fun range in Babies R us - like the nappy stackers and stuff - also the blossom farm is quite nice - off I go
Happy sorting!
