mjay- i'm sorry to hear about the OHSS. Are you in a lot of pain? I'm saying prayers for you and I hope you feel better soon. I saw that Ghost posted about it only lasting a few weeks into pregnancy. I bet you are pregnant and i'm sure the OHSS will get better soon. I'm thinking of you!

Ladybug- did you set up your u/s? When's the big day?

Fitz- Glad to hear the transfer went well. When do you go in for your first beta? How have you been feeling? Be sure to get plenty of R&R and make DH do the vaccuuming for awhile :-)

Hopeful- I hope everything is okay.

dtao- I saw you posted your betas on another board. If you're reading this, congratulations!

Miner- Thanks for your words of encouragement. Sometimes it's all I need to hear! How are you doing?

AFM- I am just taking it easy over the holiday weekend. We've had a couple of nearby bbq's, but nothing too stressful. I used the fertility calculator on this website and I found out that I am 4 weeks and 5 days pregnant. My due date is around May 12. I go in for my first u/s on Friday. My clinic does weekly u/s through week 12, so i'm excited that i'll be able to watch this little one(s) grow. Hope everyone is having a good weekend!

Well I hate to be the lone outcast (with all the BFP's in here) but it does not look good for me.. I received my beta back yesterday and it is positive but it is 6.5 and they want to see it at least a 50 or higher. CHEMICAL PREGNANCY!!! I am so heartbroken... I have to go back on Wednesday to have a 2nd beta just to make sure but it is pretty obvious. I guess the bright side is that we have 3 frozen. I am just terrified of this happening again or has this happen more then once already and I just did not know it. Needless to say I am numb right now and confused.

I wish all of you the best and will follow your progress. Take care!!!

Miner_79 - I'll be thinking of you. We are on round number two ourselves. First time we were unexplained as well and had a very low number. But what I can say is we were able to figure out what my issue (and it's my issue not my hubbie's). It's no great words of wisdom for you but hang it there. You'll get through this!!!

Hi all --

Sorry I have been so MIA, but we were going through a rough time. I'll just give you the facts:

Beta 1 at 11dp5dt - 79
Beta 2 at 13dp5dt - 110
Beta 3 at 15dp5dt - 180
Beta 4 at 18dp5dt - 493

Because of the betas we had an early ultrasound this AM. They were worried it was ectopic.

The ultrasound showed a pregnancy in the uterus and a small sac - but the sac is smaller than it normally is at this point, only 4mm. 5mm is normal. The dr's said that they don't know what this means, it's only to watch and wait. They said it could go on to be a normal pregnancy or it coudl signal an early misscarriage.

I also did blood this AM and they will call this afternoon with the numbers.

This past weekend we already figured it was a miscarriage and we had a very bad time of it - then the numbers came back on Monday with almost a tripling and our spirits were up again and v. hopeful. Now, because of the small sac size we are back on the rollercoaster. It's been awful.

If the betas continue to rise, we'll go in for an ultrasound again next week.

I've been catching up on all your stories and will write another message about all those - sounds like most of you are doing great!

XOXO Hopeful

hopeful- that's great news about your numbers. I have heard many a story about measurements being inaccurate because of a variety of reasons (tipped uterus is one). I know it's impossible, but try not to worry. I could be just a late implantation and it's measuring 1mm smaller because it implanted a couple of days after everyone thought it would. Anyway, congratulations, you are pregs!

Miner - I'm so sorry to hear that. We also were dealing with miscarriage/chemical pregnancy and we still might be. Is there really no hope? It might be that things turn themselves around. My heart goes out to you - at the very least it is encouraging that you got a positive test - it bodes well for the next time!

JG - Keep us posted on the ultrasound - that is so exciting!

Ladybug - Sounds like you are rolling along and everything is healthy and right where it should be.

Mjay - Hope you are feeling better. I hear it is just awful. My friend had it bad like you and she said she felt like she was dying. I hope it contintues to dissapate quickly - and congrats on the good news!!! You're preggers!

Fitz - How did the beta go??

Kristyb - Where are you in your 2nd cycle? Is it FET or fresh?

Dtao - Have you had your first ultrasound yet?

Thanks ladies for all the support and well wishes. My hubbie started calling me his pregnant wife again and he is v. hopeful - so I'm trying to be positive too!
