1st Beta Test today was a whopping 194!! IVF Coordinator told me I had at least two. But DH is still in shock. I go back Tuesday morning for my next Beta. I'm just now settling down a bit. I love it.

The Over 40 Crowd
Isabella Sophia has arrived! She was born 9\1\09. She weighed 7 pounds 7 ounces. she is beautiful and perfect. i am soooooooo happy. Delivery was so good. I was induced at 7:30am and had her at 12:16. couldnt ask for better than that. DH has been wonderful. He has taken to everything like a pro. We are tired no doubt but she is a good baby. Im trying to breastfeed, but it is not going so well. She eats alot so im doing bottles too. Idont produce much milk when i pump so may have to give up. Im doing the tea bag thing and the cream to help soreness nd cracks, but not really helping. Any tips?

Congratulations. So glad that you had a relatively easy delivery. Hope your breastfeeding goes well. It takes a while also for me to pump enough milk. Pumping after some massage on breasts may help. It gets easier with time and practice.

Rhonda-Congratulations! I bet ya'll are on cloud nine with that little angel in your arms. My milk didn't fuly come in till 5 days after DD arrived. Hang in there. I had to supplement with formula because she dropped over a pound in weight
but she never got confused she would nurse throughout the day then at night I'd feed her formula since I was nearly dried out from all the feedings throughout the day. I used lanosil for the cracked sore nipples. You can even use a drop of your milk to massage the areas as it may help as well.

AFM-Hmmf! AF arrived monday DH and I will have to have a heart to heart on this. Other than that sadness we had a great holiday weekend. DD had a great time; she did well on both flights [up and back].

If you can upload your photos to photobucket.com, you can just copy the img code under each photo in the end of your post. Do a preview before posting - sometime the image can be very big. I like to decrease the photo size to 480x600 something like this size so that it shows better.
