Welcome, welcome, welcome to 2010, Destiny, m2b1106, moorebaby, and supergenius!!

m2b1106 - I too am not fond of needles at all!! In fact, DH gives me all of my shots. But even though I can't stand them, you're correct, it's worth it in the end for a baby.

mjay - TWINS!!! How very exciting. Big congratulations!

moorebaby - My first trial transfer was pretty painful, then my second one for this round was pretty easy. The trasfer itself was a piece of cake. Absolutely no pain. I remember thinking - the actual transfer was nothing like the practice. You'll do great! And 25 embies - awesome!!! I'll admit that I don't enjoy the PIO (progesterone in oil) shots at all, but very few hurt. I'm just anxious about the shots. DH gives those to me too.

johannanita - It's definitely too soon to test!! Don't give up hope. We're all waiting to hear about that darker line tomorrow.

teachermom and turtle - I'm so sorry that you're cycles were cancelled. :( It's so frustrating and unfair. We'll pray that your next cycle is your turn!! And turtle - please stay onboard!

supergenius - In my experience, the mock transfer was NOTHING like the HSG. But I also have a blocked tube, so my HSG was pretty painful.

AFM, the Lupron shots are going well. I'm going to have family in and out over the days while we're stimming (starting on Thursday). I told them I could be psycho while they're here, but they'll just have to deal with it. I don't remember being very emotional or "weird" last cycle, but DH tells me that he just didn't say anything. He's funny.

Sticky baby dust to all!!! :D
Me and DH - 37
TTC - 7 years, PCOS and 1 blocked tube
IVF #1 w/ICSI...DD born Oct. '08
IVF #2 w/ICSI...BFN
IVF #3 - FET....ectopic pregnancy
HE already knows the outcome.

turtle - yes, please stay with us! no matter what you are 'one of us' and you belong with this group! I hope that the RE has lots of answers for you tomorrow.

michele - it sounds like everything worked out perfectly with your cycle! Is Ella walking yet? My little guy is and I think that has been very helpful for me.

destiny - the cramping sounds kinda normal. I always have an easier time when I take any meds with food.

lisa - I am SO glad you were able to get your day switched. It sounds like you now have a lot of stress lifted from you!

supergenius - WELCOME! Glad to have you with us! Not to make you more nervous, but I would suggest taking a pain reliever before you go in for your transfer. I have had 3 and they were all fairly uncomfortable. Good luck!

lady J - I can't remember, did you have a 3 day or a 5 day transfer? If it was a five day then I think your embie would have implanted. If it was a 3 day then it may possibly have or it may have another day. johannanita posted a day by day time frame for the embies. It's a few pages back on this thread. take a look at it, I bet it will help you out. i'm no doc but it doesn't sound like an infection to me but if you are worried I'd give your office a call tomorrow. did you have an hcg trigger with this cycle? if you didn't you would have an accurate positive no matter when you saw it but I think it would be possible to still have a false negative all the way up until beta day. Yes, I am totally going crazy already! It's only one day after transfer but i am going bananas. I think getting back to work will help me out. I know that I will start taking HPTs this week, probably on Thursday. I know that will be early but I think that is keeping me sane right now.

Wolfiee, thanks for the quick reply. I had an FET on Thursday with a 5 day blast. I'll go back to look at the list. So I wont have trigger in my system. I will probably POAS tomorrow just to see. Even though I know it may be too soon. Hopefully going back to work will make the week go by faster. GL hun.

hi ladies.

i've been mia for the weekend. hubby and i are working a lot on our house..to make room for a little one..or two :) so how is everyone??

2010- welcome. i've only been here for a few days, but these ladies know their ivf stuff. good luck at your appt.

destiny- so glad to hear that you're finally ready to try again. dh and i are hoping we can freeze some eggies, in case this first ivf doesn't work..

cjsmom- how is it going??

turtle- so so sorry to hear about your cancelled cycle. hugs.

katie- good luck with your first ultrasound...just had mine last week. hopefully those lady parts are all suppressed.

ctmichelle- congrats on your E2 level, the 22nd isn't that far away!

shelby- are you still on for your ER on thursday??

wolffie- how's the 2ww treatin' ya. i'll be there soon, hopefully.

johannanita- good luck thrusday!!

afm- just having my 2nd scan and bloodwork tomorrow. i'm still confused as to what a good E2 level is on day 6 of stims. i'm feeling good, optimistic, and energetic. we have been getting everything all ready to make babies...so let's do it, right??

it's good to hear that everyone is on their way to their BFP. i'll keep up this week, i promise.

wolffie - great to hear that you had your transfer and I am thinking about you wishing you a BFP.
Talked to the RE today and he told me not to east sushi any more. My ET will be earlier than expected and so it's best not to eat it anymore. I guess every RE thinks different about what you can eat until when. Hopefully I have to wait for a little more than 9 month to eat it again - same like you :-)

shelby - how is it going for you? still on for Thursday? I will know tomorrow for sure when it is my time. Eggs and everything are growing really good and I stop Follistim today. I probably trigger tomorrow or Tuesday it all depends. How long are you taking off from work?
I lived in Atlanta in 2006 for about 8 month - nice weather but nothing compared to CA :-)

mjay - BIG FAT CONGRATS - that's wonderful news

teachermom - sorry that your cycle got canceled - hope you can start soon for another cycle. Good luck

I want to say thanks for all of your wonderful posts, it really helps a lot going through a cycle and not feeling alone.

Good luck to everyone

Hi everyone,
As a fairly new person here, it's weird to say.. Welcome to all the newbies! This truly is a great place to be when you are embarking on this very difficult journey that few people are able to understand unless they have been through it.

Thank you all for your kind words. My RE said that once AF comes I go in for BW and Sono and start stim meds that day. We are not sure when that will be since I am coming off the meds now and have not ovulated yet. Hopefully this will work. I worry because when I did IVF the 1st time, I only made 3 eggs and that was 2 years ago! I started my menses at a very young age, therefore my ovarian age is more than my biological age- if you can understand that! AND I have low ovarian reserve. It's crazy!

Turtle- I am not leaving this board just because I am no longer cycling this month. These are great ladies and it helps so much. I think we should both stick around. We'll start the addendum group on here :) Your DH teaches 8th grade?? What else can I say besides... YUCK!! I don't think they could pay me enough to teacher any grade in Middle School! I live in New York. I taught Kindergarten for 2 years, 3rd grade for 2 years, then 4th grade for a year before I got excessed. I am hoping to start a 1st grade leave replacement in October that will go to the end of the year. Only part that stinks is I was hoping to be done with IVF by the time the job started and have a BFP. We'll see what happens next...

Destiny- I was on estrace 2x after BCP and both times I got a full flow after a day or 2 which my ER said was normal since I was coming off the BCP.

Wolfie- so glad to hear your timing is working out :)

Wolfie and Michele- I also have a 1 yr old. My Samantha turned 1 on August 22 and I would love to add a ticker like you both have. If it's not too much, could you point me in the right direction to set one up?

Sending lots of baby sticky dust to all.... Good luck to everyone :)

Hi everyone;
Sorry I have been MIA and there is so much going on. My mom has been sick and is in the hospital right now so I am consumed with that. She had 2 strokes about 6 weeks ago and she may have had another. SHe used to live in PA but I brought her here to live with me in NY. Needless to say I am under an immense amount of stress. Plus my siblings are fighting and I am getting caught in the middle...I just want to move and change my number so no one can find me.
I need to get it together and relax. I only have 3 more days of BCPs and then my fresh cycle will start and I am so afraid because of the stress this cycle is going to be a bust.
Thanks to everyone who has been looking for me. You guys are the best! I will be around more.

Hi everyone -

I hope that you all had a good weekend! Well, its finally here, I have my baseline tomorrow. This will be the 3rd cycle for me since june, I cant believe it myself. I'm wiped out emotinally from it all, not to mention financially! Whew! scary! So this is it for a while, like that doesnt add more pressure, right? Please let it work this time! I'm hoping that the Re himself will do the u/s tom, and I'm planning on getting ALL my labs whether they agree or not. I may have to remind them that I'm a nurse also, and know that I'm entitled to my own info. wish me luck! I wish that my nerves werent shot, but I'm trying to build up some PMA. lets see how it goes tom!

hey ladies! so glad to see everyone progressing. i hope it's ok if i stick around, but i'm really excited for all of us and i want to keep up with everyone's progress.

turtle and teachersmom- i'm so sorry about the cancelled cycles. try and stay relaxed and motivated for the next cycle. hopefully AF will come very soon for both of you.

prayin4BFP- i am praying for you, your cycle, your mom and your family. you have a lot to deal with. take care of yourself so you can help your family and make lots of follies!

shelbyrn- you are so funny! DH was very excited, but he's very reserved so he doesn't say much. he just asked to look at the pic several times. it's my dad that's super cute! he can't wait to tell everyone he's going to be a grandfather. good luck this week! i'll be waiting anxiously to hear everything.

wolffie and ladyj- good luck and lots of patience in the 2ww. i never said anything but i POAS'd twice. the frist time was 7dp5dt and then again at 9dp5dt. got a faint line the first time and it was darker the 2nd time.

deftonesmo- great 2nd beta! when will you find out if it's multiples? how many did you transfer?

michelle- i am super excited about your FET. you're almost there!!

afm, feeling lots better with OHSS. think it's finally starting to subside. i don't feel pregnant at all and that's kind of wierd...
me- 30 and normal

Good Morning Ladies.... Just here back at work. Well, I guess I will have to be patient until Monday. The funny thing, I POAS for the hell of it. And :( BFN. Now I know it is way to early, but u know, it still hurts. I dont know why I put myself thru that.

mjay... I am glad u r doing better. ANd I bet your family is over the top with the great news. Its natural your DH has the news sunken in yet... my DH didnt beleive it even with the ultrasounds. He was scared that the Doctors made a mistake, even at birth he was scared that only a peice of meat was going to come out of me... and when my daughter came out face down and all he saw was the back of her head, he looked at me with scared eyes... once they turned her around and picked her up and he saw her, he let out a big gasp of air and cried. It was th emost beautiful thing. One thing though, just make sure he goes with you to your US and when they check the HB for the very first time. It is amazing. ANd please do stay with us.... we want to hear the progress of your little ones as well. And dont worry, u will feel pg in no time. :P

katie... glad it is moving along for you. Want to wish u well. Hope u get your BFP.

prayin... Nice to hear from you again. I am so sorry that u r going thru this. U r a steong woman for taking on role of the responsivble one of your siblings. Why should they be arguing!!! Honey, u dont need the extra stress right now, I know it is your mom and she needs you... but maybe you should have another sibling help u out in taking care of her. Just to releive a little tension. I really hope u get your BFP with this cycle hun. GL.

deftonesmo... Great numbers. Wow, does sound liek more than one in there. GL> When do u find out?

Well, let me go for now... I am hungry and it is only 1030am.... I havent had a coffee... but I have to skip that... I am going to get me a cup of milk... mmmm... sounds refreshing.

Johannanita – I don’t know why we do that to ourselves either. It’s torture! But like I said before, just hang in there!

Teachermom – I’m so sorry about your cycle. Maybe no BCP will be the key for your success. It seems to be working for me so far.

Destiny & Supergenius – Hey! Glad you joined us! We are ready for some more BFPs!!!!!!

LadyJ – thanks for your well wishes. I am so ready!

J&C – I didn’t think I was too bad on my last cycle either, but I’m sure DH could think of a few things that happened

Akowens – I surely hope I’m still on for Thurs! I feel like a balloon just waiting to pop!

Kiwi – I thought I was going to know for sure today when I would trigger, but they want to bring me in again tomorrow. I’ve got my fingers crossed! I’m not a big city girl so not sure if I could live in Atl. It’s ok to go out and eat every now and then. As for work, I work @ home so I’m just going to let DH do all the housework for a few days and plant my bootie on the couch with a book or watch some movies. How about you?

Deftonesmo – Your beta sounds great! Another set of twins! That would be awesome!!!!

Prayin – I’m so sorry to hear about your mom! I remember you talking about her stroke in the past month or so, but I’m so sorry to find out about a possible new one! I know it’s difficult, but if it’s @ all possible, please find some “you” time. That helps me so much when I am stressed.

Teachermom, Turtle, and Mjay – please take your shoes off and stay a while! You ladies are still an essential part of this “family”!

Moorebaby – GL on your ET tomorrow! Sending you lots of sticky dust!

Bei – Hope your FET goes wonderfully. I am hoping to have my ER on 9/17 and the ET on 9/22 so I won’t be too far behind

Hi Ladies-

It has been awhile since I have writte....I was away in Vermont this past weekend for a wedding and I just caught up on most of the emails!! It is soooo nice to see so many ++++ on this forum!!! I started Trigger shots on Friday night and I was NOT prepared for how bloated, crampy, and bruised I would be!! I have done injections in one other cycle but was only taking 75 units and now I'm taking 150!! I went in this morning for my first u/s and they saw 8 small eggs on both ovaries and said that I was responding well to the meds!!! So fingers crossed

mjay-congrats!!! that's so exciting about twins! I keep telling my DH that I would be so psyched if we had twins!!

johananita-hopefully that line will get darker as the days get closer to your test date!! I don't think I am going to POAS since I'm obsessive and would be doing it everyhour if I could!

ct-michele-I think we are on the same schedule! I am hoping I will find out my ET date in a couple of days so that I can plan mine and DH work schedule. I teach a Hebrew High School class at night time on Wed and Thurs nights and I am hoping that I will be scheduled for Tues the 22nd so that I can have that day and night to rest

teachermom-sorry to hear about your cycle being cancelled. I know that feeling and just kee your head up and try not to think about it too much!

akowens-I also think we are on a similiar schedule so I can empathise about all these crazy symptoms we are going through

deftonesmo-congrats! can't wait till you get your first ultrasound

shelby-I have had the tripple stripe before but my lining barely gets over 6mm....so I am REALLY hoping this time it gets nice and thick for implantation!!! Hopefully the POI shots in the butt will do the trick! :P

sorry if I didn't write a personal to everyone (it is so hard to keep track of everything-but I'm trying!!)

fingers crossed for everyone
