Hello strangers...

Post by nicolam »

Gawd, this site has changed and there's so many lovely new positives out there! Just wanted to say hi to any of those who remember me, though most of those have been and had their babies! I'm mighty curious about Dawn Blake - has anyone heard from her?? Don't know if you still visit Susi, maybe drop a quick line to let us know what's happening. It really is the strangest thing to see our names at the top of the roll call. It was such a long time ago that we all announced our positive tests!

I've not visited as much as it was difficult at work in my new job, but also that I found it incredibly hard to accept the awful news from Dagny and Caroline. You just expect everything to be all right after everything everyone's gone through. I so wish you both future happiness, you deserve it so much and you've been so brave.

Also want to say good luck to Nikola and fantastic news TraceyS about your scan. That 20wk scan is one of the most scary moments I think. And as for Bubblyshell, a celebrity in our midst. I'm sure you will have given hope to a lot of people out there. I don't mean to miss anyone out, but there was so much news, I haven't been able to read everything!

Well, I only gave up work a week ago and bubs is due next Friday - as everything - thank God in heaven - has been straightforward so far. However, I think after reading some of the messages, that I will slow down now, better late than never! (I'm also starting to get occasional mild periody pains, think the midwife says that means things are probably starting to soften up.. gulp..)

Take care everyone and hope the next time I write it will be with a big announcement.

Hi Nicola, very long time no hear!

I haven't been on here much recently, but glad I popped in this morning!

It IS weird finally being at the top of the list after all these years, and I am now waiting `patiently' for the late arrival of my baby - 8 days late today, not that I am counting or anything! Midwife, friends, family etc were convinced I was going to be early as baby dropped quite a lot, but alas no!

Baby is still as active as ever and I am still feeling great, if not a bit frustrated with the waiting, but what's a few more days in the whole scheme of things?

Glad to hear you are keeping well too, and that your date is iminent, I bet you end up having yours before me!

Take lots of care and enjoy - I for one am looking forward to the labour - weird or what?!

Lots of Love and keep me posted on your news!

Dawn, Nicola - Just wanted to wish the two of you well. I'd been looking out for Dawn's news in particular as a fellow Bromley girl - I thought you must be past your due date by now. Wishing you both all the very best (and hoping you don't have to wait too much longer!)

How wonderful to hear from you - I often think of you - been very quiet without you and Nikola!!!!!!!!Good luck with everything and can't wait to hear the news.

Dawn - good luck to you two - how strange to be up the top of the list. I was at the bottom it seems like yesterday and even I am moving up now!
