Ghost ? about blasts

Post by wolffie »

Hi there Ghost!

I just had an FET this morning. We transferred 2 embies that have been frozen since 10/2007. These were from the same batch that my son was born. This morning I was told that both embryos thawed well. They were frozen as day 5 blasts and at the time of freezing one was graded a 4AA and one a 4BA. I was told that they both thawed with about 70% of cells still in tact and they did assisted hatching prior to transfer. What are your thoughts about the quality of these two? Does the 4BA have a chance? I was also told that my lining was great and my triple stripe looked perfect. This is my last chance and I'm hoping that both little ones snuggle in tight!

Thanks for your thoughts! I appreciate all the honesty you've given me in the past as well as so many other ladies.

Ghost - I should add that my clinic has a grade of 4 the highest and 1 the lowest. I know some clinics do the reverse so I thought I should clarify.

I don't know that grading system. It seems every clinic uses a different one.

But I believe they have a chance or else your clinic would not have bothered.

Avoid IVF and surrogacy in Ukraine. Ukrainian centers pay shills to post here under numerous sock accounts pretending to be patients in Ukraine. Centers using such deceptive advertising cannot be trusted and should be avoided.

I know you're not asking me but I thought I'd share some encouragment. I had a FET in April last year with good looking blasts and now have a wonderful baby boy who is almost 9 months old.
Good luck to you!
