Ok, I just took my first shot of meno and bravell...and messed it up . I had to remix it and toss the 1st mix...errrgh:( Now I have to go to the Dr.'s office tomorrow to get more or I'll run out. I think I've got the hang of it now though.

Hi all! I came for my daily fill of PMA for tomorrow's visit :)

Lady_J: It really hurts to get the line of "are you preggo?" questioning/conversation. I get so frustrated-people at work are constantly saying it must be in the water and why haven't I had more children since my daughter is now 5 (it's about time isn't it). We have been TTC for 4+ years so I finally broke down a few weeks ago and told them I was doing IVF. People are more understanding of my emotional rollercoaster moods but they also look at me like I'm broken and want to know how it's going. I hope you remember there are people that understand (right here!!) and we know how hard it is all the time. Keep your faith-we are all hoping and praying for the very best. We'll keep up your PMA even when you can't.

Katie, j&c, jaydentd, sancap, and miyaya: I'm so glad I'll have lots of ladies to compare notes and good news (no room for bad news!) My daughter sang a song that I think should be our new stimming song. She sang "Hokey Pokey" but said "You do the hoke me, poke me" That's what I say-let the poking begin! I'm so ready to start :) I am also ready for AF to go-I have had AF for 14 days! AGH.

I am gettin more inspired as i read your postings and the overwhelming support for each other...it's like were all kindred spirit. Being new, i am still having a hard time following up especially with the abbreviations. Can anyone please tell me what does POAS, BCP, AF, PMA,TTC means? Thanks in advance. Keep up the hopes and spirit everyone, you're all in my prayers too. Good night. By the way, is it common to experience constipation and low moods when taking Estrace pills?

BCP = birth control pills
AF = aunt flow
PMA = positive mental attitude
TTC = trying to conceive

rayofsunshine - That is too funny...the honkey pokey song! That should be the theme song for injections. I'm sure i'll have that in my head now whenever I have to get a shot!!

sancap - sorry the first injections went a little wrong. it sounds though like you figured it all out and didn't let it get to you! it will get easier.

tonyacheek - so funny that you mentioned weight gain. I feel ridiculously bloated since starting this cycle. I never took off the last 20 pounds after my son was born and now with all the meds I just feel huge!

kala - were you able to enjoy some cookie dough? sorry you are feeling so emotional. yesterday i was in rare form...just a mess and swinging from one emotional exterme to the other!

AFM, so....I POAS again this morning 5dp5dt. I DID see an ever so so so faint second line. I mean it was FAINT. So I'll POAS again tonight and one tomorrow morning (I think I'm going to end up competing with Johannanita). I am hoping to see it get darker since I do know that it way too early to be excited about anything yet. BUt I just had to tell ya'll that I saw something!

I'm thinking about all of you and hoping for a good day for everyone.

I took my last BCP yesterday so now just waiting for AF to do my baselines then start my fresh cycle. I guess since I have been so consumed with my mom the 3 weeks of BCPs went so fast. Of course now I am looking for AF she wont come.
Congrats to all you BFPs! Wow! That is awesome. I hope its my turn this time. I am a slacker with personals...this board is hopping! But I am thinking of everyone. I am getting ready to go to the hospital to see my mom....she may be coming home today...woohoo! I really hope so. Just with her not being there will decrease my stress level 50%.
I am feeling more PMA which I have to attribute to you ladies so thank you!

*sigh* Hey guys.... Well, I went for my first ultrasound to count follies yesterday and it is really looking like I am going to be cancelled this cycle. They came down off of the meds because I responded so fast the last time, but it looks like they backed off way too much and I ended up with a dominant follicle and only two other big ones. There are still 3 under 10mm that they wanted to watch for another two days, so I go back again tomorrow. It's likely they will want to cancel the cycle and start me over on BCP's in October for a November cycle. So I'm kind of bummed about it. I did ask about the possibility of converting this to an FET cycle, which we will also discuss tomorrow, but I'm not sure that's really what DH and I want to do at this point, so we may just end up cancelled. Anyway, just wanted to vent. Sorry, not a lot of time for personals. Shelby - hope you are doing well! Wolffie - a faint line is still a good sign!!

kala - Have you read the Sookie Stackhouse novels by Charlaine Harris? They are the basis for the True Blood series on HBO. They are really good - but you do have to get past the first book, which is a little dull. The other 8 are great, though.

Does anyone know how I would figure out how many days past ovulation I am since I had a FET? If I am currently 5dp5dt does that mean I would be considered 10 days post ovulation? THANKS!

I hope that you all are having a good day today. Its pouring here and I dont like driving in the rain, so of course have a ton of errands to do. I'll start stims today, so thats good news, but boy, have I started to worry about a dominant follie ruining this cycle too. I tried googling it but cant seem to find out much info at all. I might ask ghost, but I'm afraid he will tell me the truth, once a lead follie takes over ,there isnt anything that can be done. Please NOT this cycle too! OK guys I'm done that was my panic attack for the day!

shelby -I'm getting a little worried about you. I hope that you're alright.

sangria -No, thats not too much. After day 5 of stims at my RE monitoring every other day is standard. Just a lot of driving is all.

claud -its so hard to have to put on a happy face for women like that. Why are some people so nosy? well soon you will have the best answer, YES, I am preganant!

johannanita - I know that we're in the same time zone, but good Lord, we are dying to hear your good news!

kala -lupron is hard on some people, headaches, moody, teary, hot flashes. i hope that your s/s subside soon. OMG! 6 days til Serbia!

Rayofsunshine -my nurse always says that my ovaries are being "poky" Now I'll never get that song out of my head! Too funny!

Hey all-
I went in for baselines-she said there were a "few" follies on each side so that is already better news then last time. Now I get to wait for the b/w and pray my FSH level is not too high or E2 way too low :) The nurse kept a snapshot of my uterus from the u/s because she said it looked like an alligator-it definitely lightened the mood and now I've made a funny moment for the entire office!

I'm going to try to be productive right now (since I'm skipping work) so I will try to get to personals later.

Good Morning Ladies..... I am sorry for my ranting yesterday and bringing alot of u wonderful ladies down. What was I thinking??? I really appreciate your support ladies and want to thank you all for your kind words. I know it was too soon to POAS... that is why I hate HPTs.... If my cheapies from E -bay com in by Saturday then I will POAS then, but if they dont then I will just wait for my BEta on Monday. I still havent gained my PMA back or maybe these meds are getting me emotional ... today I am 7dpdFET. I will be off tomorrow from work and Monday I wont be in again cuz I am not good at hadnling BFNs and being at work... they just dont mix.

Johanitta..... GL today hun. cant wait to hear your numbers.

Wolffie... Congrats on the Faint Line hun. Must be so exciting seeing that line pop thru. So what kind of HPT did you use? When is your Beta?

Statsgoddess – I’m send loads of PMA for you. I’m sorry things aren’t working out. At least you know what you can produce lots of eggs from your last cycle. Hopefully RE now knows how your body will react to the meds and give you a protocol that’s right for you.

AFM, I got my call this morning. My beta is 341!!! I’m so excited!! I go back in on Monday for another test and then later on that week again. She said my scan will probably the 1st week in Oct. I ask the RE what my progesterone is and he said it’s off the charts!!! The RE called me first and then the nurse. I want to jump out of my skin!! I can’t wait for my first scan. Then my boss sent me a message asking if I wanted to go a to concert tonight. I’m like HELL YEAH. It’s a good day folks. I couldn’t have gone through this without you guys. I still need your prayers that things continue to go smoothly. The nurse said not to be surprised if I see spotting. I told her I haven’t seen any but I keep looking. She told me to stop looking but not to be alarmed if I did. She said what I don’t want is bright red blood. OK, I have to somehow do some work today. I’ll TTYL!!!
